The entire world appears to have gone mad.

The USA is a very good example. Apparently BLM protestors are turning up in suburban areas demanding whitey gives over their homes.

Purest Racism from people who claim to be fighting against racism.

This is in a Cathedral in Naples. First the pachamama idolatory and now this. Talk about flying in the face of God. I can hear Mount Vesuvius rumbling from here.

It doesn't so much alarm me that they're doing this.

It's that they're doing this and everyone is going along with it. That really alarms me.

This reminds me of St. Bernadette. An army was advancing on them and she was asked if she was afraid, but she said no, what she feared was bad Catholics.

You notice it is Seattle they are doing this. Seattle is very leftie left.

Try that here in Arizona. Come on. Different outcome I believe. Our Sheriff is quite stalwart of the Constitution and our 2nd amendment. And the police chief in Phoenix, a democrat and a black woman, would not stand for it one bit. No way. She does her job!!

This isn't about racism. It is about over turning the rule of law by these criminals. They want chaos and they have nothing better to do than cry and whine about how bad they have it, which most if not all of them DO NOT.

The Sturgis biker rally was a good watch. I guess the person who kicked the bike and was arrested was not antifa but does have ties to Seattle. Stupid that they think most American agree with them. They do not.

The saddest thing about madness is that it is infectious. If we meet one person who says that the moons a balloon it's easy to laugh it of but if we are in the middle of say a hundred people who ardently believe the moons a balloon then our reason tends to rock. Which is where our Faith comes in. It is a great Lighting rod against the ideaological nut.

I came across the saddest thing recently from Mexico. An uncle and nephew were having a drink outside a school and the local police arrested them for drunk and disorderly. A rumour went round whatsapp and facebook that they were Paeds planning a kidnapping of local kids. A huge lynch mob stormed the local police station , soaked with petrol and burnt to death whilst a huge crowd, including women and children cheered loudly.

Collective nuttery. Its all over the place.

I am so delighted Recently I donated an old picture of Our Lady to my Church. Tonight going to mass I found it Enthroned at the altar for the Feast Of The Immaculate Heart of Mary .

That alarms me too. "The winnowing fan is in His Hand"
Why do they go along with it? Poorly catechized maybe. Taken with the spirit of the world. There is a rumor here that Catholics in our parish liked the shutdown and the televised Masses. According to one of the parish volunteers some have said they don't miss it and won't go back. Satan's end game playing out. Truly scary.

Sadly, this is true. Collective insanity is not hard to find anymore. This "go along to get along" has infected many, many people. But there is an under current brewing. People may not voice it but they see the ludicrous happenings. I pray that all on this forum, their families and others who see what is happening to stay strong and stay with our Lord and Lady. We need to persevere!

The books The Jesuits by Malachi Martin and Lord of the World by Robert Hugh Benson shed a lot of light on the current happenings in this world and in some churches. I have a lot of empathy for the popes who have endured during these times, and tried to turn back the tide. I dont think much can be done to stop it. Until Christ returns that is.
    Come Lord Jesus, come!

It reminds me of two young people who fall in love and then get married. They then make the mistake of imagining that their love will will last forever no matter how much they take it for granted. They foollishly imagine that they will not have to work at their relationship.

Its the same for the Faithful, we have to feed the Faith by constant practice and not take it for granted. Principally by prayer. 'Seek ye first the Kingdom of God'.

I can see now what St Paul meant when he said to , 'Work out you salvation in Fear and Trembling'. They knew Apostasy and Heresy even back then while the Apostles were still alive.

So interesting that this is the holy Father's favourite book and he keeps it by his bed.

    Why?

I think this is exactly right. In the beginning Our Lord does all the heavy lifting and the life of faith is so exciting and so easy. But then we must " grow up" and He leads us step by step through a series of deserts and we strengthen our faith muscles and start doing the lifting. If we don't go forward we go backward. Thats the lesson I've learned. And it takes work and sometimes we have to love Him in the will and without the emotion.

Maybe because he saw and was part of the resistence to its playing out. Cardinal Ratzinger wrote quite the rebuke to liberation theology while serving Pope John Paul who forced the resignation of the Jesuit Superior General and his hopeful succesor in the attempt to right the orderr. Sadly it had no effect and they elected yet another SG who continued the great falling away of the order.
