Thank you for your prayers and everyone else who is praying for my Mother. It has been incredible how much help I am getting with everything. I spent most of the day getting all the paper work in order. I am also speaking with family who are far away from here. In a lot of ways it has been beautiful. A kind of resurrection is taking place, lots of fresh air. Praise be to our All Good God. Pangs of sorrow come and go, but the beauty through it all has been life changing.
For everyone who is struggling by ~ ~ by Father Joseph Krupp ~ "We each have been given crosses of varying weights and sizes. My concern when it comes to other peoples crosses ends at prayer and assistance. Their crosses are not mine to judge or even describe. When it comes to my cross, my concern is to carry it like Jesus; with tenacity, with dignity and without complaint. As for you reading this, I simply must remind you that Jesus sees you. He knows your cross. He can see all the things no one else can, and He’s so proud of the way you carry what you carry. He knows you fall, He knows that. He’s not ashamed of your falling, He’s proud of your rising. He knows that other people have looked at you and judged you, but did so without knowing about the cross you carry. It breaks His heart. He cries with you. Your cross is heavy, I know, and He knows it too. But what He also knows, that you and I can’t until heaven, is the way it gives Him glory. The way it’s preparing you for heaven. The way it shines His light in a particular way that we would all be lost without. So, carry that cross. Carry it well. Be proud of that heavy, ugly blood stained piece of wood. It’s helping Him save you. It’s helping Him save the world." https://x.com/joeinblack/status/2000872426574397704?s=46 ~ A Merry Christmas to you all ~
May the Holy Family comfort you and your family. A Mass will be offered for the repose of your mom's soul.
Just seeing this now. My condolences on your mothers' passing. Prayers for her soul, and for your family.
I just received the sad news that my dear Aunt Mary passed away on Christmas morning. I would appreciate prayers for her soul. She was the "life of the party", a very special and loving lady. I pray that both she, and my beloved mother are reunited in heaven.
Prayers for your Aunt Mary through the day. May she rest in peace and be the life if the party in heaven.
I just now saw this thread. I offer my condolences to Pax Prima on the loss of his mother and to Jo M on the loss of her Aunt Mary. I will offer prayers.
no, not yet. I have had my Mother's body cremated and it is in the house currently. Her funeral is on the 17th of next month as the family needed time to make plans to come out. In the mean time we are having masses said for her. She will be placed in the crypt below the church.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved, sweet & beautiful Aunt Mary! Yes, I'm sure they are reunited in Heaven!! May God & His Mum comfort you & your family!
