Called Prayers of an Irish Mother - There's one prayer I couldn't say without tearing up.. seems appropriate on this thread so I'll type it out: Lean Hard Child of My Love, lean hard, And let me feel the pressure of thy care. I know thy burden child; I shaped it, Poised it in Mine own Hand; made no proportion Between it's weight and Thine unaided strength. For even as I laid it on I said: "I shall be near, and even as she leans on Me, This burden shall be Mine, not hers; So shall I keep My child within the circling arms, Of My own love!" Here lay it down, nor fear To impose it on a shoulder that upholds The Government of worlds. Yet closer come---- Thou art not near enough, I would embrace thy care, So I might feel My child reposing on My Heart. Thou lovest Me? I know it. Doubt not then, But loving Me, lean hard. Well this is quite a lot, prayers. With regards to your husband, the scams that some Chinese/Southeast Asian gangs run to steal money come to mind (so-called Pig Butchering scams). My son in law has an S and C deficiency in his blood which took his Mom in her 40's and brother in his 30's. Chris is 37 and has been struggling lately with his health. They have 3 children under 7. Chris' boss is now questioning his fulltime status as he's needed more days off. If Chris cannot work, they would have to sell their home and likely we would have to sell ours as well and move to somewhere cheaper or figure out something. My daughter is struggling as it is and we help as much as we can (it's very complicated). When Chris' boss called it just hit home and hit hard. We are also dealing with a 38 yr old son of ours who has a volatile mental health disease and would have to work that in as well. There's just so much background here. Along with the times we're in, it is our major cross and we're stumbling. Thank you for your prayers as I know you are all an army of prayer warriors here that I can count on.

I will be praying for these intentions. Jesus will make the crooked way straight. That is Scriptural. Stand still and watch the deliverance of the Lord. You are in my rosaries.
That’s a huge cross for you all. The crosses and sufferings are such a mystery in life but perhaps recalling that both Our Lord and His Mother also endured them will help give you some consolation. Please be assured of my prayers that these sufferings lead to resurrection for you all. Peace.
