To my knowledge, none that have been considered authentic. And if one did, I would immediately discount that purported apparition. All of the things that Mary has said would happen have been conditional -- this would happen IF we did not repent. It could be prevented or minimized IF we pray the Rosary daily and both go to Reconciliation and receive Holy Communion frequently. As far as I know, we have passed the stage where these Chastisements can be prevented by our actions; however, we can STILL minimize the effects by following her directions. Understand that at one point, an earthquake will occur around the world that will cause mountains to fall and rivers change their courses. WHICH mountains will fall and WHICH rivers will change course are not for us to know. Otherwise, we would have people moving to the "safe" locations, rather that amending our lives and trusting in the Mercy and Love of G_D. "Oh Jesus! I surrender myself to you! Take care of everything!"
True, but then the problem becomes getting supplies from the coast to the inland areas. Again, roads, bridges, etc. may be out, and the only way to get supplies in is to ferry them in by air.
The Catholic Church IS the Israel of the New Testament, the “New Israel.” It is an error of Protestantism as well as Zionist propaganda to assert that the modern secular humanist/atheist middle eastern state by the name of “Israel” is the New Israel of the New Testament. The Catholic Church has been and will always be Israel since Christ established His Church.
Agree. Also, I believe when God speaks of those in exile coming back to Israel, He meant all people worldwide coming into the Church.
Exactly! But since American Evangelical Protestants are inherently anti Catholic they cannot see this, and make up absurd theories instead.
PLEASE move this discussion about "the Church as the New Israel" over to the "Signs" thread, where it is already being discussed. Thank you.
Link where this is addressed? It can be repeated over there too. Maybe it deserves its own thread. It’s a common Protestant error that bleeds over into the thinking of many American Catholics.
