I always feel so sad that the Hagia Sophia is still in the hands of Islam. I beleive someday it will be restored . If it is I suspect it would be considered the prime Marian Chruch in the world, even more so than Maria Maggiore in Rome. Phillip was writing about being concerned with his families conversion before the Tribulatiion really hits. I was praying about this and I had an image of a wine press. In a real way the souls of the world will be pressed in the vat of God's wrath. But even as pressed and crushed the grapes can still give of a juice , which through the action of the yeast of the Holy SPirit can be made into good Sacramental wine. Which is another way of saying many souls will be onverted as events are entrain. Of course for many it will be too late as their lives will be cut short. But for others it will be a new beginning. I have many members of my own family that I hope will be converted as the axe is put to the tree.... That is not to be cmlacent, just to give true. I knwo man ypeople are put of by talk of, 'God's wrath', but it is perfectly scriptural and it fits . But I think MArk MAllet's way of putting it, 'Tears of God's Justice' is ggorgeous. I myself had to be brought down to the dust and crushed before I became open to conversion. Sometimes when we are just coasting through life we need a significant jolt to wake us up. I hope that's not the case for my family because it can be very painful, but the Lord knows best.

My wife has told me that she has a premonition that some serious trials are coming down the road for us and that some difficulties that we have recently been experiencing are perhaps just a preparation for what is to come. Maybe its all part of Gods plan.
