Nice! I hope she likes living in that area.

My oldest son just graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere in July with a B.A. in History. He loved living up there in Green Bay, and he loved the school. He misses it already and goes back often. We loved to go there too to visit. Every time you eat in the cafeteria there, you get unlimited soft-serve ice cream from an ice cream machine provided by Brett Favre from his training camp days (apparently that was what he wanted on those hot Green Bay Packers summer camp days at St. Norbert, so he bought it for the school...).

I fondly recall his freshman orientation, when us parents were invited to taste all the Austrian and Belgian beers and ales made in the European Norbertine Abbies along with the priests and brothers there from the Green Bay Norbertine Abbey. They don't make any beer here in the US, but St. Norbert College in De Pere is the only university that the Norbertines have ever established in their 1000 year history.
