Andy that is a kind reply, but I don't think I should take credit for what the Lord does through me. My SD told me once that the Lord can speak through anyone--he even spoke through Balaam's donkey! Now there's a comeuppance for you! I am constantly amazed at what the Lord can do through a sinner who says yes! And even my yes is imperfect unless I link it to our Mother's Fiat. We are all on the path of holiness struggling to get there one step at a time. May God be praised for all he is doing to help us on the way! Jesus we trust in you!
I have followed your blog for a few years and love your book as I find it a great aid to prayer. If I get a prayer call during the night I usually open it randomly and make the prayer and reading my own. Its a great gift to me as I find mediation difficult and these readings and prayers that the Lord has inspired you to write speak to my heart. Delighted you are here. Mary
Hi Janet, I was just introduced to your blog, by my friend Val here on the forum! Welcome!!!! I love your blog. Soothing to the soul.....God Bless!
Hey Andy- remember my dream of the hundreds and hundreds of blooms opening and blossoming on the forum after you became a moderator? Me thinks it is afoot! And all you moderators handle the pressure so well.-God's Grace. Now to complete the dream Padraig we need only one more moderator added to the forum as the Blossoms of Mary continue to bloom! Welcome Janet to our strange yet loving Garden of Mary.
Janet, you are going to love it here. People cover a wide variety of topics and usually take the time to give some real thought to what they have to say. The moderators are solid - allowing debate to be vigorous without breaking into a brawl (usually - but when a brawl does break out, they get it under control and back on track pretty quickly.) For those of you here who have not visited the Pelianito blog, you really should. It is a wonderful resource of many devotions along with some very pithy, deep contemplations. Welcome!
Have anyone ever felt the a hand of god working in their life's. but the human nature soon kicks in and try's to tell you it all was a coincidence ?!
Oakline, that is very common I would say. We just don't want to believe that God is that interested in our little lives. But he is! Try giving God credit for everything and see how your outlook changes.
