Bless you Deanna, I'm a little late on the prayers, just found this. But according to the Lord time just keeps things from all happening at once so my prayer should still fit in there nicely. God bless you and I pray for a thorough and speedy recovery.
Hi everybody. The surgery went well. I am home recuperating, running a slight temperature, but I don't need to call the doc unless it goes over 101. I was actually on the table in the operating room answer the anesthesiologists questions, you know how they make small talk to keep the patient calm, when my mind flashed to the fact that you all were praying for me. Strange, but comforting. Bless you all, and of course, thank you!
Very good to hear you are in the recuperating mode. I hope its a speedy recovery for you and no complications. Try to remember you DID have surgery and keep the moving/lifting on low. See if you can get the family to do the "step and fetch it" part. God bless you Deanna.
Rain, I'm so far behind that the only thing I can pray for is post-op inconveniences! LOL! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
We never ever miss the boat with God. He is all knowing. He knew all that we were going to do before we were in our mother's womb, as we were in His mind. When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, an angel consoled him. How would that angel of consoled him? He was reminded of all that he was about to accomplish and was allowed to see all the grateful souls that would love him back. When I pray, sometimes, during the sorrowful mysteries, I enter into the mystery and stand beside Our Blessed Mother, saying the Hail Mary, reminding her that this is indeed the Son of God and that she is indeed blessed and that Jesus willed this. I believe very much that God the Father knew that I would say this prayer in the 21st century, so gave Mother Mary the consolations back then. I have also entered into the Garden of Gethsemane (meditation, not a vision) and knelt beside Jesus to keep him company and to thank him and pray with him. A very good and holy priest assured me that this was indeed true, and said it was wonderful that we in the 21st century are able to console them at the time of the crucifixion. This is the mercy of God,.. so.. If you hear of a soul who has died you can offer up your Holy Communion for them at the moment of their death. Our wonderful God works outside of time, and He wants everyone in Heaven if possible. He wants to redeem, he wants to save. It is us who choose otherwise. So, Mario, you haven't missed the boat. Say your prayer now and offer it up at the time of the operation even though it has already passed. We have such a good father, that he would have applied the graces in lieu of your prayer knowing that it was on it's way ... He has thought of everything, Isn't He wonderful. :0)
