On the face of it, Russia was fat and bloated till the West provoked it - and made it tune-in and shape-up. They have become a country on a war footing, for quite obvious reasons. On the other hand, perhaps these "leaders" are all in it together. And they combine in these charades to bring us all to war. God knows, few of them will be involved. And they'll be far removed from the killing fields. Liars and charlatans the lot of them.
It think this is exactly what happened but it also goes deeper. I believe the same powers that forced Russia's hand are the same ones that were escalating tensions in the US and Europe. Russia and China will manage their side of the world and the US theirs.
I seriously doubt Trump would roll over concerning Taiwan. One thing to accent is the difficulty of invading Taiwan. Firstly, the island nation has a superb air force. Secondly, the western coast of Taiwan presents serous barriers to overcome by invasion. Besides the additional defenses added by the Taiwan military, the cliff walls and barrier reefs present significant problems for any invading force. So we picture the number of troops which China could unleash, but we fail to consider the high cost of lives. And I'm sure that, despite their training, the initial rank of invaders would have to be aware of their imminent deaths!

However, if one listens to Steve Bannon, whom I think is still the master strategist for Trump's movement, I get the impression that Trump has no intention of letting Taiwan be taken by China. Electronic voting machines used in US elections are supposedly made in Venezuela. Supposedly Maduro knows all the details of how the 2020 election was stolen from Trump using these voting machines and will be offered a sweet plea deal by Trump’s DOJ in exchange for exposing widespread digital voting fraud by the Dems.
One thing I’ve been thinking about is whether, if Trump proves to be an imposing and relentless force against his enemies, there could come a point when even his own allies with natural resources begin to fear becoming targets of his ambitions at some point—for example, the Saudis.
