I don't know what to think about any of this, but I'm very uncomfortable about assigning blame here. It seems very complicated, and besides, I think as Christians we are called to pray for all involved and put it into God's hands. I'm no crazy gung-ho Israel-supporter, but we know that there will be a great conversion of the Jews in the end times, which we should be praying for and looking forward to... as well as most likely a mass conversion of Muslims through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima. Christ wants to gather them all into His arms, and we should be on our knees for this, with no hate toward anyone.
I feel as HH does that the blasphemy should not be posted on here. I understand why he posted it and don't think badly of him for it, but I felt absolutely horrible even reading that and feel that any more exposure to it is a terrible offense to God.
"It's not about land". Maybe it's about money - the profits from natural gas off the coast of Gaza? Remember that the Israelis supported and funded Hamas. The attached is probably a pro-Palestinian website, but facts are facts whatever the source: https://altahrir.wordpress.com/2014...eli-invasion-and-gazas-offshore-gas-fields-2/
Someone send me a video this morning by Whatsapp this morning and I stupidly opened it without thinking. It was of a young Jewish girl who had been captured by Hamas and brought back to Gaza. Because I did not expect what I was about to see I wound up watching it, it was quite short. At the start of it the girl was covered in blood standing in the midst of a loud, large crowd of cheering , clapping , laughing people. They then set her on fire by pouring petrol down her front. As the flames consumed her she ran round in circles while everyone clapped as though she were dancing. It took her a little while to die in great agony. In one way I was very sorry to wind up watching this. In another way I was not. It taught me a lot about hatred and what we as human beings are capable of. This video had been posted on utube so I suppose Jewish/Israeli people may have watched it. If they had I suppose they will be going insane with rage. Apparently the girls boyfriend had also been killed . Hamas took the dead boyfriends phone and sent this video of the girl being burnt to death to the girls mother.
I also saw pictures of the Holy Family, the last Catholic Church in Gaza sheltering some 145 of our fellow Catholics as the bombing goes on. Prayers for everyone in Gaza and the entire Holy Land. https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2023/10/gaza-evacuations-catholic-parish/675639/
Desmond Tutu was a favourite religious of the secular world because he thought like them. He was a pro abortion, heretical protestant so his words ring hollow. Whilst I admire Martin Luther King it is well known he had multiple affairs his poor wife had to put up with a lot. Have you any good quotes from Catholic saints? I might find that a bit more palatable?
"As stated earlier, many Jews were members of the new atheist Communist movements or were anti-Christian Masons, whereas Polish society was undergirded by traditional Catholicism. The Little Daily championed Catholic moral and social views, and this would be quite natural and expected. For example, when the paper presented the idea that Catholic children should be taught in Catholic schools by Catholic teachers, this was not anti-Semitism. It was simply a pro-Catholic voice advocating its continuing tradition. As Mitch Finley wrote in a 1983 article in Our Sunday Visitor, "St. Maximilian was a man of his time. It is unfair to expect him to reflect a post-Vatican II ecumenism which values Jewish tradition as integral to a complete appreciation for Christianity." Again, however, in 1982 there were some who vocalized their disagreement. Racial Hatred? Some said Kolbe was guilty of grave error in lending credence to the so-called Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, a master plan for Jewish world domination later [allegedly] shown to be a Russian forgery. Kolbe mentioned the Protocols in two articles. Reflecting Protocol's rhetoric, he referred to the founders of Zionism as "a cruel, crafty, little known Jewish clique," a "small handful of Jews [who had let themselves] be seduced by Satan." https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/was-st-maximilian-kolbe-an-antisemite-1068 So, is EWTN correct or is Saint Maximillian Kolbe correct? St. Maximillian Kolbe had the correct idea: "The mission St. Maximilian entrusted to his Knights of the Immaculata was that of converting the whole world to the Catholic Church. He said, ”Only until all schismatics and Protestants profess the Catholic Creed with conviction, when all Jews voluntarily ask for Holy Baptism – only then will the Immaculata have reached its goals.”[1] “… In other words” Saint Maximilian insisted, “there is no greater enemy of the Immaculata and her Knighthood than today’s ecumenism, which every Knight must not only fight against, but also neutralize through diametrically opposed action and ultimately destroy. We must realize the goal of the Militia Immaculata as quickly as possible: that is, to conquer the whole world, and every individual soul which exists today or will exist until the end of the world, for the Immaculata, and through her for the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.”[2] https://catholicism.org/st-maximilian-kolbe-on-false-ecumenism.html As did Pope St. Pius X quoted earlier by others: "We cannot give approval to this movement. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem—but we could never sanction it. The soil of Jerusalem, if it was not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church I cannot tell you anything different. The Jews have not recognized our Lord, therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people". As did Bl. Pius IX, also Red-Pilled on this subject: "Some of you may perchance wonder that the war against the Catholic Church extends so widely. Indeed each of you knows well the nature, zeal, and intention of sects, whether called Masonic or some other name. When he compares them with the nature, purpose, and amplitude of the conflict waged nearly everywhere against the Church, he cannot doubt that the present calamity must be attributed to their deceits and machinations for the most part. For from these the synagogue of Satan is formed, which draws up its forces, advances its standards, and joins battle against the Church of Christ." (Etsi Multa).
I'm glad you posted this comment Padraig. I feel, just like I did in the now forgotten Ukraine/Russia conflict, that the puppeteers are again pulling the strings to which we the people must dance. This particular "show" however is much more emotive. And we are more easily distracted. God bless all these people - the bloodshed, the hatred... God, please have mercy.
I don't think it's about money at the higher eschelons.. maybe at some level, it is, yes. But at the very top, at its peak, these people have more money and power than they know what to do with. At the very highest level, I believe there's a Satanic, diabolic heartbeat to it.
Different levels, yes. And these are lured by the levels above with different things to do what needs to be done. And yes, I also believe that Satan and his closest henchmen want to achieve the great chaos aka Great Reset. Ukraine is quietly losing, they need a new way to create more fear and damage (of course, it is not impossible that they will come up with something for Ukraine again). Btw: Interesting excerpt from a recent Hersh article. The background seems to get crazier and crazier... According to Hersh's analysis, the Hamas attack on Israel was triggered by Netanyahu allowing an Orthodox settler group to celebrate the Jewish festival of Sukkot in the West Bank. Verbatim, the journalist wrote: "The Hamas attack was a direct result of a decision Bibi had made, against the protest of local military commanders, to allow a group of Orthodox settlers to celebrate Sukkot in the West Bank." The celebration had been authorised by Netanyahu at a time when, according to an AP report, Jewish settlers had shortly before, on 6 October, killed a 19-year-old Arab in rioting in an Arab residential area. Nearly 200 Arab youths have already been killed in a similar manner this year. This is the highest annual death toll in this regard in about two decades. Due to the great tension between the Israeli settlers and the Palestinians, the Sukkot celebration was placed under special military protection with two or three army battalions with about 800 soldiers. As a result, there were not enough border guards to protect a 51-kilometre stretch of the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip. ... "Last Saturday, 22 settlements in the south were under Hamas control for hours, going from house to house slaughtering women and children."
Maybe I'm a simpleton, maybe I'm naive But it seems to me the real solution is for the Pope in union with all Bishops of the world to get down on their knees at the same time and consecrate Russia alone to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Until we have a definitive and proper consecration then I can see no human solution to the crisis in the Middle East.
https://celiafarber.substack.com/p/no-such-thing-as-innocent-civilians "No Such Thing As Innocent Civilians?" "Widespread Destruction As A Means Of Deterrence" A 2006 War Strategy Called "The Dahiya Doctrine" Now You Can At Least "Make Sense" Of What Makes No Human Sense, From Gaza, When You Understand This "Doctrine" and How It Functions—It's NOT TRYING To Spare Civilians or Civilian Infrastructure Celia Farber Note: I’m trying to keep things factual, more than interpretive. I don’t respect histrionics—am tuning out angry people, trying to function as a micro news outlet. (Time still limited due to book deadline but I devote time each day, and when possible, will devote more.) I welcome ground reports dispatches to enhance my reportage and understanding. How I see it now: What’s happening and has been happening for so long is so confusing to us because we did not know about the Dahiya Doctrine, described here: (Maybe I should speak for myself. I am just now—today— learning of it.) Here is a video that lays out what this is, and below you will read text that does the same. What happened to Goldstone after The Goldstone Report came out? Israel Defense Forces, Targeting (warfare), Dahiya doctrine The Dahiya doctrine is a military strategy put forth by the Israeli general Gadi Eizenkot that pertains to asymmetric warfare in an urban setting, in which the army deliberately targets civilian infrastructure, as a means of inducing suffering for the civilian population, thereby establishing deterrence.[1] The doctrine is named after a southern suburb in Beirut with large apartment buildings which were flattened by the Israel Defense Forces(IDF) during the 2006 Lebanon War.[2]Israel has been accused of implementing the strategy during the Gaza War. History 2006 Lebanon War The first public announcement of the doctrine was made by General Gadi Eizenkot, commander of the IDF's northern front, in October 2008. He said that what happened in the Dahiya (also transliterated as Dahiyeh and Dahieh) quarter of Beirut in 2006 would, "happen in every village from which shots were fired in the direction of Israel. We will wield disproportionate power against [them] and cause immense damage and destruction. From our perspective, these are military bases. [...] This isn't a suggestion. It's a plan that has already been authorized. [...] Harming the population is the only means of restraining Nasrallah."[3][4]Noting that Dahiya was the Shiite quarter in Beirut that was razed by the Israeli Air Force during the Second Lebanon War, Israeli journalist Yaron London wrote in 2008 that the doctrine, "will become entrenched in our security discourse."[2]Operation Cast LeadWhether by design or default, Israel at least partially implemented such a strategy during Operation Cast Lead.[5] The 2009 Goldstone Report makes several references to the Dahiya doctrine, calling it a concept which requires the application of "widespread destruction as a means of deterrence" and which involves "the application of disproportionate force and the causing of great damage and destruction to civilian property and infrastructure, and suffering to civilian populations." The Fact Finding Mission which submitted the Report concluded that the doctrine had been put into practice during the conflict.[1]CriticismThe doctrine is defined in a 2009 report by the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel as follows: "The military approach expressed in the Dahiye Doctrine deals with asymmetrical combat against an enemy that is not a regular army and is embedded within civilian population; its objective is to avoid a protracted guerilla war. According to this approach Israel has to employ tremendous force disproportionate to the magnitude of the enemy’s actions." The report further argues that the doctrine was fully implemented during Operation Cast Lead.[6] Richard Falk wrote that under the doctrine, "the civilian infrastructure of adversaries such as Hamas or Hezbollah are treated as permissible military targets, which is not only an overt violation of the most elementary norms of the law of war and of universal morality, but an avowal of a doctrine of violence that needs to be called by its proper name: state terrorism."[7] Liberal-left leaning Herzog makes the case for genocide and no innocent civilians, here. Very disturbing clip. ABC News, of all people, reporting on protests in Israel against Netanyahu calling him a “murderer” but this clip gives the false impression of mass protests now. (Older image used.) Link to clip here. Again, I strongly advocate watching news channels from Gaza, like this one,to see what American news does not only not want you to see but does not want you to believe there is any justification for trying to “see.” Because of the too strong impact of images of children harmed and killed, I am for now embedding images into links, but this could change in the future. Publishing images from Gaza does not preclude sympathy for Israeli victims. However, it seems to me that Israeli victims are getting plenty of coverage, whereas Gaza victims are not. They were evacuating. I could not imagine why these people were killed on the road while evacuating. I sent this clip to a few friends around the world and kept “thinking” about what it was I was “missing.” Nobody else seemed to understand better than I did. It only “makes sense” when you learn about Dahiya.” Nothing on Israel’s part is pure emotional wrath, nor irrational over-reaction, but rather, well established military strategy, (partly invented by American Curtis LeMay, to evade prison for war crimes.) I welcome your feedback, as ever. Please know that I won’t be able to attend to comments until after book deadline, which is imminent. But please know that I will eventually review all comments. We aim to make this a propaganda free zone, where we are free to both think, feel, learn, and evolve. I’m considering how impactful images of children are and how they have been used to drive the entire post Oct 7 narrative. I’ve noticed the people of Gaza had very strong bonds with their cats. Cat bids farewell to child. This periodical considers the bombing of Gaza to be genocide, especially since Israel openly admits it. Let’s all adjust our histrionics and moral angling accordingly. It’s genocide that is considered militarily fruitful. Dayiha Doctrine.
Apparently that video of the girl getting burnt was all made up, Reuters reported. Reuters fact checker. The video was actually staged in Guatamala if you can believe it.
