It might be worth looking at the definition of 'genocide', which is 'the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group'. Now the Palestinians are racially Arabs. If anyone using this term seriously intends to imply that the Israelis seriously intend to attempt to eradicate the Arab race, then they either don't know what genocide is or, more seriously, are deliberately abusing a term that has enormous significance.

Hamas do SERIOUSLY seek to commit genocide and have absolutely no problem stating so repeatedly. They HAPPILY ADMIT that they intend TO ERADICATE, ANIHILLATE, DESTROY, FINISH, END the Jewish nation by killing any Jew that falls into their hands and preferably rape or behead them while doing so as the Koran directs them to do. And they have absolutely no problem seeing their own people being killed for the ultimate goal even if they have to do it themselves.

The Genocide is against the 2.3 MN Palestinians, including 1 MN+ children, that live in Gaza. (1) 6000 bombs in 6 days (2) as much as an entire year in Afghanistan. (3) while Afghanistan is about 2000 times larger than the small area of Gaza. I stand by what I said in the OP. Let's see how things turn out.

Leaving aside the one-upmanship of which side can achieve the biggest death toll, I'm curious to know your source for linking Psalm 83 and the final battle of Armageddon in Revelation, and that it will be Muslims attacking Jews, presumably before the conversion of all Israel.
I see a lot of that from the Protestant Rapture crowd. I don't see a lot from Catholics on Psalm 83 but what I did find suggests that any prophetic element of the Psalm will be an alliance of God's enemies against the Church (Haydock seems to have believed that the alliance would include Protestants). I think it's really stretching the limits of credulity to suggest that the current conflict in Gaza is the fulfilment of Revelation. It's the Church and not the secular state of Israel that will be the target. Cherry picking from Scripture to justify man's sinfulness isn't really a recommended practice for Catholics.

 

Prayers for all killed and injured in that hospital. I felt so sad looking at pictures of the poor, poor children.

Because of satellite imagery the American intelligence agencies and others will know who actually carried out the attack. I don't know if they or anyone esle will ever share it with the rest of us. But they know and have the evidence.

I suppose to some extent it does not matter what people know to be the truth as what they believe to be the truth and Islam and a very considerable portion of the rest of the world believe it was the Israelis. So that's that.

People believe what they want to. If I had to make a guess it would be that it was a rogue Israeli pilot seeking vengeance. Who knows?

We keep on sleep walking into a World War in all this. What can we do but pray?
