Is Society on the Brink of Collapse?

Perfect. Considering this was written I’m assuming in 1950s or 60s, it’s prophetic! Needed to read it today. Yes, the Church will become smaller. I think the other important thing is that while it becomes smaller, we need to firm and stay in small communities. Our MOG one is one of these communities. Peace

 

One of the things they accused the First Christians of being in courts before they killed them, was of being Atheists. This was because the Christians refused to sacrifice to the Pagan Gods. This was ironic because they were the very opposite of Atheists.

They accuse Faithful Catholics of being Far Right although the Catholic Church was the main opponent of the Nazis.

 

In a human sense we are totally defeated.

But that is the moment when God always does His best work.

Agree. The shire or kingdom is within our hearts. The world around us can be dar and crumb,in but if we truly believe with not our reason but in our hearts and spirit that Christ conquered death and is alive then nothing can harm us . I have this desire… but free,y admit that I fall short and listen to lies of the evil one. Courage. Conversion and faith.

 

This is the danger for us as Catholics now: there is a feeling that everything is closing in around us, and not one of the choices presented us is dripping with hope. But this is ultimately the fog of satan, for God remains in control.

We have been drafted and are finishing up boot camp, no longer discussing what will be, but discussing what is. Spiritual warfare to the nth degree is upon us.

The Battle, not a hypothesis has arrived. I feel as though I'm in the Garden with Jesus. May I not fall asleep as Peter, James, and John did. Ultimately, John "woke up" and joined Mary at the foot of the Cross. His Love for Christ outweighed his fear. May I imitate his change of heart and his unselfishness. For the sake of my family and those I love, the time to choose humility, love, and an uncompromising disposition has arrived.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; 16 above all taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Thank you Mario for reminding me that God is in control. I must stay strong for my family. I was in Knock recently and got Elizabeth Kindlemann's diary on Flame of Love. I have started to earnestly pray the Holy Rosary including the flame of love invocation for my family and community to blind Satan.
Prayer and sacrifice are our weapons and we are in Our Lady's Army.

 

My beautiful wife, Geralyn, just came and asked me to do her a favor. We have one son, two daughters, two-son-in-laws, and seven grandkids visiting, with #8 ready to make entrance in one month. A great joy, but so infrequent!

May Our Lady Wrap them in her Mantle of Maternal Love and Protection!
