I know this sounds crazy, but I can't help thinking Jesus has returned and we are being judged. The bible states when he comes back we won't recognise him. It talks about the Sign of the son of man appearing in the heavens - and he will brighten up the world. It talks about signs in the sun and moon after the fulfillment of gentiles. It keeps talking about the time , the time , the time and a half Or the three and a half years being really significant That people want the mountains to fall on them during the time of the antichrist. That the good will be purified during the three and a half years ( Daniel 12) Is it possible Jesus is here and he is what is brighting up the sky??? That he came as a theif . That the world is in darkness for three years.

Jesus has not returned yet (second coming). I suggest you read the Catechism of the Catholic Church so you won't be so mislead by your flawed personal analysis. We all make mistakes in interpreting the signs of the times. But know this, if our own opinions conflict with offical Church dogma, it is not the teaching of the Church which is in error.

"The Son of Man in His day will be like the lightening that flashes from one end of the sky to the other" (Lk 17:24). St. Peter predicts, "The day of the Lord will come like a thief and on that day the heavens will vanish with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and all its deeds will be made manifest" (2 Pt 3:10). Death will be no more. The dead shall rise and those souls who have died will be united again to their bodies. All will have a glorious, transformed, spiritualized body as St. Paul said, "He will give a new form to this lowly body of ours and remake it according to the pattern of His glorified body..." (Phil 3:21). We have not entered into the last judgement. You have not been judged. You can still go to Confession to get rid of serious sin. Please talk with a good, holy priest. You waste the time of mercy worrying that it has already expired.
I have posted this quite awhile ago, but as this thread is talking about something I experienced, I thought I should offer it again for your discernment: (I am writing this from memory as I do not have my notes with me right now) Shortly after coming into the Catholic Church, I had a very vivid dream (not like a regular dream but more of a vision): I was standing in a large field with many people as far as my eyes could see. I stood off behind them and off to their left. There were no homes, trees, nothing but an empty field that looked like there had been devastation of some kind. It seemed to me that everything had been burned. Suddenly a very large cross appeared in the sky just above the horizon. The people were murmuring as though in awe of what the were seeing. Suddenly, a very large ball of what I would call light or fire, although I interiorly knew it wasn’t fire, appeared to the right of the cross which had disappeared when the ball of light appeared. As soon as the ball of light appeared, everyone prostrated themselves to the ground. I have contemplated this dream for many years and, if I may, give you the understanding I believe I have: I believe the cross is the tribulation and chastisement (which is the reason for what I saw in the field that looked like devastation).; this is what may come prior to the Eucharistic reign of Jesus, which was the great ball of light that I saw and the reason that everyone prostrated themselves to the ground. Weird coincidence, because on the same day you posted this I read a comment on facebook (on some odd esoteric advertisement that popped up on my feed) that Jesus is the Sun. I didn't pay attention to it and removed the add, but I remembered the comment... And then just few hours later this post came up... I think there may be some increased demonic activity nowadays and you might be mislead on purpose. Last week as I was praying rosary walking through the city, I noticed a billboard with big price tag of "666" on it. I don't even remember what was the product advertised as I just kept thinking if that was only coincidence or not. Few minutes later I am walking by a bookshop and the first word I noticed in the title of one of the books displayed was "SATAN"...Well that just cleared any doubts so I started to focus more on the rosary which I was praying, which I can only recommend doing when having these kind of misleading doubts or confusion in life. We have to focus on the prayer and all will make sense afterwards
