The Protestant sects are centred on the intellect. We can see this in their Churches which are so cold, like buildings rather than homes. Places to think, rather than love. The only ones that look like home are the Catholic Anglican Churches, stolen from the Catholic Church and which ape the One, True Church.

Thank you for the clarification. Unquestionably, the devil has had much control of this world, since the Fall, as the Temptations of Our Lord clearly illustrate. On the other hand, to think that he has complete control is to run the risk of moving into Gnostic territory, not to mention that we know, when it comes to the crunch, that Christ is King, both of this world and the next. Is it fair to say, given the permission granted to the devil by Christ in Pope Leo's vision that the ante has been upped, but at least it has been time-bounded?
I can personally testify that being gifted with the ability to be quite academically and professionally successful hasn't, in the least, stopped me from being imbecilically stupid in other departments of my life. It is arguable that a degree of intelligence in one aspect of knowledge might actually subtract from that available in other ways. Kurt Goedel, the (Christian) mathematician is regarded by a lot of those who might have the ability to know, including Einstein who was in awe of him, as the most intelligent man of the last century. He mathematically pulled the rug from under atheistic logical positivist philosophy, but he couldn't boil an egg for himself and was utterly helpless and unable to look after himself when his wife died.

The great thing about the whole Eurovision thing is how much in the open it is now. I have been trying to persuade people about the power of Occult/Satanic groups in Ireland for ages but now this makes my case for me. Actually I think your attempt is really beautiful! Years ago I was going thru a dark and difficult time and away from the church, while in the the twilight of sleep words came to me and I felt compelled to get up and write. I was astonished at the poem I wrote ( and I’m not a writer) the title that started it was called “Splinters of the Cross” Sometime I think God speaks to us and we write what we hear Him say. Even when we don’t realize He is speaking to us.

I told her the whole thing was an embarrassment to the country, even to look at their appearance and how they presented themselves. That quickly stopped the conversation. I think I have already said that we have a show for over 20 years "On the edge of science" that deals with various phenomena, paranormal, etc. Very good host. Once there was a guest who studies such things and he said a sentence that has been ringing in my ears for about 10 years when I see the behavior of most people. The elite or people who control the World under the influence of evil managed to convince the World that there is no supernatural. or as Kevin Spacey said in the popular 1995 film The Usual Suspect, "Satan's greatest trick is to convince people he doesn't exist". There are two groups of people who believe, those at the bottom of the pyramid who are considered primitive by their belief in God in modern society and those at the top of the pyramid (the powerful) who show it in various sessions behind closed doors, symbols, gestures... while at the same time promoting atheism and anti-religious politics as if nothing supernatural existed. Today's modern man, that is, the "middle class" if it exists anymore, is focused on its own pleasure, money and ego. As all three things are in opposition to God, in order to live according to their own rules, they rejected God and any life other than this worldly one, and therefore the spiritual knowledge of the world around them, what is good and what is evil. The world has become "blind" as in the time of Noah and the flood or Lot or Sodom and Gomorrah. No matter how much they warned, people didn't believe, the same thing is still true today when they see something supernatural, they run away from it because it destroys their whole concept of understanding society and understanding the world. If that ritual at the Eurovision Song Contest is really that evil, then there is also good, if there is supernatural good, i.e. God, then there are certain rules and laws that I have to live by. And that's the problem, because then I can't live as I want... In the end, we cannot recognize that something is bad if we do not know the original good. We cannot recognize that an apple is rotten if we do not know what it looks like when it is normal.Modern man cannot defend himself against something superior and stronger than himself unless he takes refuge in something even stronger and superior than that which ensnares him... A man who was created in the image of God must believe in something because the Creator calls him to himself. However, he replaced God with faith in science because that is how his ego is fed, spirituality with various yogas, meditations, body care and body idolization where he takes only what suits him. When the corona came, how many people blindly believed and who still believe today despite all the information that came out. How many people blindly believe in the science that today says how a man can become a woman, how a woman can become a man, how there is a third, fourth, fifth and sea of genders. How a man can give birth, how homosexual couples can have children, etc. Evil mocks modern man, perverts him and shows how "stupid" he really is in relation to the spiritual world. The same people who make fun of religion accept the most abnormal things that have been scientifically proven to be impossible. However, if they reject science and admit that every pattern of human behavior is actually prone to corruption and "fall" then they will either acknowledge God or go crazy because there is no other. Because of the ego, the recognition of God is too difficult, and yet they love themselves more than the Truth in order to go crazy, so they will prefer to lie to themselves and believe in any ideology that feeds their ego, however contradictory it may be...
