I believe that both the traumatic years of repression by the ayatollahs and the devastating coordinated attacks by the United States and Israel, together with the nationalist archetype and symbol of Cyrus, could create this unifying scenario. That Machiavellian dilemma—whether it is better for a leader to be loved or feared—has equipped Trump strongly and in a balanced way, like a double-edged sword, to reshape the world in his own manner. I may be completely mistaken, but I see this possible future taking shape with a mixture of hope and apprehension.

I think it will be hard to do anything in Iran as long as a significant amount of hardline Muslims exist. History proves this. Iran will be a money pit if they can't get it under control, which will only further accelerate the downfall of the US. Muslims are good at non conforming.

The only way historically I know of to eliminate Islam is via reconquista. I don't know that Iran has the stomach for it.

I regret expressing a counter position, but it is how he was removed, that will evoke a disaster for the USA. Think back, President Biden was totally incompetent as a senile President, but if foreign agents had assassinated him, I would want retaliation as soon as possible. This will only increase the resolve of the Iranian nation. They are on home ground; we are engaging in a far-flung war to protect Israeli interests which the US cannot sustain for anymore than 2 weeks. Russia and China will use this as an opportunity to obliquely lend support to Iran. This will end badly for the US, not so much with damage being done militarily at home, but with Iran remaining stable and resistant, the US will be seen as the unjustified aggressor.

Perhaps the Iranian regime will crumble and I'll be proven wrong? In all this, my primary concern has remained the inordinate influence that Zionists have exerted on USA foreign policy as well as spiritual battle being played out in our beloved Catholic Church.

May my overly secular viewpoint prove to be the blindness that hinders me from fully supporting your spiritual analysis, but I believe the Lord will choose another path. May a soon-to-be return of Pehlavi as King prove me wrong.

I think Iran will be done in less than 2 weeks unless something happens. They are getting their critical defenses destroyed at a rapid pace and there are no indications of this stopping. Something like 30-50% of their critical defenses have already been taken down without any effective response.

I do not agree, in fact strongly disagree, with this illegal decapitation of Iran's leadership (who for a second time were caught unawares in the midst of peace negotiations), but if I just run with the allegory of cutting off the head of the snake - then I think it may just be a many headed hydra. After the initial period of mourning 66 leading clerics will be meeting to re-elect a supreme leader. Despite decapitation of the national security team plus the head of the IRGC the Iranians managed to respond in a ferocious way. It is difficult to see how the unarmed people could effect a takeover of the deeply entrenched regime under these circumstances. In the face of these martyrdoms many will rally in defense, I think, but time will tell.

 

When I say Iran is done I mean from the point of view that their large military equipment has been incapacitated. What happens in regards to Iran's troops and intelligence is a different story. I can't really speculate on it because it depends on so many factors.

 

Iran can’t be defeated. They have years worth of armaments. U.S. have 4 weeks worth. I pray I’m wrong, but this may be the time Israel will use the Sampson option.

I see the stock markets are in free fall this morning. This gives me a little bit of hope. The maga rich care about the stock markets.
