    I don't think so, I knew this war would be over sooner than later. Iran is likely close to capitulating on major issues if they haven't already. Of course, this will never be admitted publicly.

    Now they can move onto the next phase, the removing al asqa.

    Sadly, yes; but to my country's own shame.

    I hope it is all over.

    But I have the saddest feeling it has not even started yet. This is all to do with what Israel wants and what they want is Iran gone. This has not happened yet.

    God forbid. There is a lot of speculation about the Epsteinists going nuclear in their pride and desperation, particularly about the 'Israelis', but is there any real difference between the two at this point? Prevailing winds are south-west from Iran, I've heard. Wouldn't be good for America's Arab allies, nor their oil production. The Russians declared recently that they are 'not indifferent' to the fate of Iran. That's quite strong in their measured way of speaking. Unfortunately, there is little that is measured about Trump and satanyahoo.

    On the other hand, Trump is supposed to have offered to lift Russian sanctions in order to lower oil prices. So, maybe there is still some small bit of pragmatism and sanity left in his head.

    I've also heard that Iran hit ben-Gvir's house and that he is 'missing'. Has anyone heard anything about this?

    If they do that all doors open for China and Russia. Let's face it the godly usa only country in history to horribly mass murder civilians with nuclear arms. The good guys:whistle:

    The Russians have sucked NATO dry of weapons, which the US is struggling to replace. Iran has now sucked vast amounts more out of them. They are so desperate that they are buying back some of their (largely ineffective) Patriot missiles from S. Korea. Apart from Kim licking his lips, Taiwan is being left wide open. If the US dares go nuclear, it seems likely that China will blockade Taiwan in the aftershock. The latter produces about 80% of the chips needed for AI data centres. Combined with an astronomical rise in oil and gas prices, this would probably burst the US AI bubble, end the dollar as reserve currency and leave Russia and China completely dominant in Eurasia. The stakes are high.

    How can the 'Israeli' assault on Lebanon be justified? Hezbollah had been inactive until the former attacked.

    More 'Peace' and more 'Victory', I suppose.

    Not to your country's shame, no. Not at all. America, like so many nations across the globe, has been taken-over at government-level. And exploited.
    We in Ireland are similar. We have been overcome at government-level too. And they leading us are snakes of satan.

    Unfortunately it is to the point that these officials have gone rogue and serve another entity. Our leaders, across The West in particular, are traitors to their people. Probably freemasonry instituted over many generations to get them to this point.

    Moonofalabama was offline earlier and I feared that the powers that be had hacked it, but it's back and it seems confirmed that Trump rang Moscow yesterday. This could see Putin emerging as the grand peacemaker, bringing an end to this war and ultimately the one in the Ukraine, with restored prestige and trade for Russia. Trump is currently telling people that Iran has been wiped out militarily and the war is likely to end 'soon'. He might declare 'victory' and withdraw, with Putin establishing a deal between Iran and what is left of Israel. With the help of God, something like this will happen.

    Don’t you know? Now it’s allowed under the name preventive. If you kill someone, rob them, beat them up… you just say that the person would have done it to you first and that you were only defending yourself by doing it first.

    Imagine those children whom the elites in the West trafficked and abused — well, supposedly the Iranians would have done that to them, so they just pre-empted them and did a good deed.

    We no longer even have wars, only various ‘operations.’ When you kill foreign leaders it’s not murder or an assassination, but an ‘elimination.’ In the West, countries that take part in aggression are ‘allies,’ while Iran’s allies are called ‘proxies’ and ‘terrorists.’

    They say Satan is the father of lies; the amount of manipulation, twisting, and lying has reached such a level that it speaks from the mouths of the media and politicians in the first perso No wonder Iranians call Israel a little Satan, and USA a big Satan..

    For what its worth--in prayer just now I believe the Lord told me to " read God's news" and I asked him for a psalm. I received psalm 28. The perfect antidote to the anxiety of this terrible time. Please read it. It is powerful and will bring great comfort i think.

    The articles are well-informed, as are a sizeable minority of the comments, but you have to sift through them.

    Hmm I’d like to think so but I’m not so sure.

    The passage below and many others in the Bible and in Christian traditional literature suggest that “each country gets the government it deserves “.

    Senior Iranian official warns Trump to 'be careful not to get eliminated'.
    They've also said they'll keep fighting for as long as they think it's necessary and not when the US decides it over.
    Doesn't sound like they're ready to stop any time soon.
    Then again it's hard to know what the US intends. Will it be 'over soon' as Trump said last night or are they 'just starting' as Hegseth maintained at the weekend.
    Not much we can do but watch and pray.

    Psalm 28:

    To thee, O Lord, I call;
    my rock, be not deaf to me,
    lest, if thou be silent to me,
    I become like those who go down to the Pit.
    2 Hear the voice of my supplication,
    as I cry to thee for help,
    as I lift up my hands
    towards thy most holy sanctuary.

    3 Take me not off with the wicked,
    with those who are workers of evil,
    who speak peace with their neighbors,
    while mischief is in their hearts.
    4 Requite them according to their work,
    and according to the evil of their deeds;
    requite them according to the work of their hands;
    render them their due reward.
    5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord,
    or the work of his hands,
    he will break them down and build them up no more.

    6 Blessed be the Lord!
    for he has heard the voice of my supplications
    .
    7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
    in him my heart trusts;
    so I am helped, and my heart exults,
    and with my song I give thanks to him.

    8 The Lord is the strength of his people,
    he is the saving refuge of his anointed.
    9 O save thy people, and bless thy heritage;
    be thou their shepherd, and carry them for ever.

    One last comment concerning the war: at least my esteem for the Vice-President has gone up greatly. After having made a great anti-abortion speech in January, the name of JD Vance is out of the news because of his reluctance to fully back the war:

    The president has clearly defined what he wants to accomplish,” he said. “There’s just no way Donald Trump is going to allow this country to get into a multiyear conflict with no clear end in sight and no clear objective.”
    It was a characteristically loyal defense of the president, but for Mr Vance it signalled a clear change in tone.

    “He has a long record of defending America First and no more wars, and especially in the Middle East,” Prof Matthew Dallek, of George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management, told The Telegraph. “It was core to his identity as he rose up in politics.” In November 2024, Mr Vance argued explicitly against US military action in Iran.

    “Our interest, I think, very much is in not going to war with Iran,” he said on a podcast. “It would be a huge distraction of resources. It would be massively expensive to our country.” In an April 2024 speech on the senate floor, he cited his own experience serving in Iraq as the basis for his scepticism of interventionism. “I saw when I went to Iraq that I had been lied to, that the promises of the foreign policy establishment of this country were a complete joke,” he said, adding that “too many in this chamber have decided that we should police the entire world… The American taxpayer be damned.”

    I don't think we'll be hearing much from JD anymore.:( God bless hum.
