Wow. Maybe this is common knowledge, but someone tell me the name of the artist responsible for this masterpiece.

It could be in the Cologne Cathedral in Germany

 

Thanks, with your information I was able to pull up more info about him. His full name was Egid Quirin Asam and he often worked with his brother, Cosmas.
