As far as I know the Pfizer and moderna vaccines were tested on the HEK293 cell line but do not contain material elements from the cells. This would be remote material cooperation. Whereas the Astra Zeneca vaccine is derived from the HEK293 cell lines and contains material elements from the cell lines. This is closer cooperation. I maybe wrong and I am open to correction.
As far as I know, I'm the only (covid) vaccine free adult in my extended family. The topic rarely comes up now. I've had all the arguments but that was in the early days. I don't think any less of my family because they are vaccinated. If they think less of me for not taking the vaccine, they don't say so now. They can see how careful I have been since the beginning of the pandemic - more careful than any of them. I was sourcing supplies of masks and sanitiser for them when nobody wore masks. I firmly believe in wearing masks indoors in crowded places but I rarely notice and don't care whether others are masked. I wear one to protect myself. What others do is none of my business. Sometimes I doubt my decision to refuse the vaccine. I wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I've been wrong about so may things in the past that sometimes I ask myself how can I be sure that I'm right about this. Fortunately for me, my decision doesn't directly affect anyone else. I don't have to worry about being unemployed and nobody depends on me to keep a roof over their head. I'm not so sure that I wouldn't buckle under pressure if my circumstances were different. Thank God, I'm spared the silly arguments. The only one of my family who tried the ridiculous "the Pope is vaccinated" line wouldn't darken the door of a church. And the "get vaccinated to protect others" line came from some of the most self centred people I know. I noticed early on that the "take the vaccine to protect our elderly" line came mostly from people who would euthanise their Granny in a heartbeat if their political masters recommended it. Yes, I know good, holy and caring people with at risk family members who took the vaccine to protect them, and were I in their position I may have done the same. What I have no time for are the sanctimonious people who swallowed and regurgitated the lies and rather than acknowledge it are smirking as others lose their jobs or are making snide remarks disguised as charity when they hear of someone unvaccinated (such as Cardinal Burke) who falls ill or dies with the virus. This pandemic has brought out the worst and the best in people.
Yes I have had moments of doubt also but something always holds me back. I worry about my husband also who suffers from asthma. We are both careful in our interactions but mix freely with our children and grandchildren. I know that many things have been contaminated by evil but I wasn't always aware of that. There is something really strange about the current scenario in that no treatment protocols are available to our doctors and any doctor who disagrees with the narrative is treated like a pariah. You are correct. Denying proper treatment is criminal. People who made the decisions to prevent treatment whether politicians or medical employees need to be brought before war crime courts. It's not follow the science but follow Big Pharma ie. the money.
It is a maze and a minefield. The ordinary Joe Soap can hardly be expected to make moral distinctions of this kind. Personally, I find little if any distinction between the use of a murdered baby for information and it's material. Both are abominable. However, most people getting a vaccine are...getting a vaccine. Unless they willingly and knowingly choose to opt for a particular kind of vaccine just because it's been derived by such abominable means, I don't think they have cooperated in any grievous way. The responsibilty for these abominations does not lie with the people at the end of the line, but with the ones who knowingly chose to use these murdered babies for this purpose. No more than it is a sin to drive on a German autobahn, made by the Nazis. This world is heading into its most fallen state. Though they won't prevail, the Gates of Hell are opened. We should throw away our smart phones, one might argue, as they're the greatest platform of pornography ever invented-is using them a form of material cooperation? We're encountering evil and its fruits every day, but most of the ones doing the encountering didn't instigate this or necessarily agree with it and are fairly helpless to do anything about it. If Professor Moschella is right, and I would be very slow to disagree with her-she seems to have no vested interests-the only honourable means of Joe Soap dissociating himself completely from these abominations is to abstain from all, or most, medicines. It might be good for Joe's soul, he might deserve higher favour in Heaven, but it won't save one baby's life. Tough times. May the Lord God have mercy on us all.
Love this. They all show up at my house for the turkey and ham too... not one of them cooks. Seriously though, our family is truly blessed to celebrate Christmas with four generations. We have fully vaxxed, half vaxxed, and unvaxxed at our table. Pass the wine please.
This sounds just like my husband's side of the family, they have to protect themselves from the unvaxxed. It's sad when you are isolated from your family at Christmas. It is a minefield and I agree with you that the vast majority of people are simply taking a vaccine. There is some merit to the remote co-operation comparison with the Holocaust. Where it falls down is that there is no mass killing of Jews now whereas thousands of babies are being aborted every day for no other reason than that they are unwanted - an inconvenience. Rather, they are unwanted by at least one of their parents - there's a whole industry built around their death and that industry is supported by the world's most powerful people. The weakest part of the remote co-operation argument is that the trade in foetal cells is growing and the only people facing criminal trials are those like David Daleidon who try to expose the Dr. Mengeles of our time.
My sentiments exactly. People died and continue to literally die because they are being denied life saving therapies. I’ve witnessed this personally. May God exact His justice for this evil . Gods will be done.

I don't think there is any fundamental difference to our views. As you say, 'the vast majority of people are simply taking a vaccine'. The remote co-operation argument is not quite as weak as you imply, in my view, because it is to these people that it applies-as I interpret it, it offers no cover whatsoever to those who trade in foetal cells and those who organise and facilitate this infernal slaughter system, because their cooperation is direct and not in the least remote.
