Sorry I am late to this thread. I will pray for your family Mark and for your daughter as well Patrick. My own daughter is experiencing something very similar. God bless.
...I have, just now, been able to read all of these responses. Please know how grateful and amazed I am at all the prayers. And, I not only pray for all of you, but for one or two of you who posted their own prayer requests. My wife's father is home, as of today, having been treated for pneumonia. Given all wrong with him, I firmly believe YOUR PRAYERS were most effective. You really are a special bunch. On behalf of my wife, especially, I thank each and every one of you. God Bless. ...And, if I may follow up on another post of mine, Catholic Charities and another group is going to assist us in house taxes, and that is in addition to a couple very special people. May God and St Michael watch over and protect us all. THANK YOU
First off, a big apology to Mark. It really was my first post on any forum anywhere, and I realized today that I hijacked his thread and a thread for prayers no less. (My son told me what hijacking a thread meant.) I really did not intend to do that. I am glad to hear that your wife's father is doing well. Secondly, thank you to everyone who said prayers for Teresa. If you think of her, please continue! I want to tell you what happened. About a year ago, I was praying for Teresa and the thought kept coming to me - volunteer. She was not old enough at the time, so I felt like there was nothing I could do and chalked it up to my own thoughts. Fast forward a year, and I had not thought of volunteering for a long time. You all prayed for T, and the VERY next day her counselor suggested to her and my wife that Teresa VOLUNTEER! Teresa jumped at the chance. She loves horses, and she is now old enough to volunteer at a local horse farm that helps children with disabilities. There are a lot of young people who volunteer there. I truly believe she is going to start finding her way. Praise God! And thank you all for always strengthening my faith through your own and offering your prayers without a second thought. Prayer requests is my go to on the forum now. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Don, I saw your message above. I will start saying prayers for your daughter too. ~ Patrick
I'm sorry I'm just catching up here but I will remember your intentions in my prayers now. My daughter suffered from loneliness & depression in her early teens. We went through a lot but Our Lady brought us through and she is now a happily married mother of 5 kids. Hang on to your rosary. It never has been known to fail.
....no apologies needed. A few years back, I posted something I thought was of interest on somebody else's thread on a Facebook page for an old TV show. Next thing I knew, my post was deleted and I got an angry message from the page's moderator saying I hijacked the thread! I had NO idea what was going on, or that I'd broken some sort of posting rule. So, no worries at all. God Bless.
