    Hi Padraig and Glen,

Thanks for the welcome:) . Padraig, did I have on my profile that I'm from Donegal?! Well, I've changed it to the correct details: I'm from Kilcock, in Kildare, beside Maynooth.
I'm a dazed and confused Catholic. I 'reverted' to the faith about two years ago. I was first confused because contemporary theology and opinions so often conflict with traditional teachings, but I resolved that issue by just sticking to tradition. Now the confusion arises over all these seers and visionaries. Not to mention some of the ambiguous comments by our Holy Father. When Francis made a comment in his interview with the atheist about following our conscience, I was stumped, it seemed to depart from the teachings because in the Catechism it states that judgements should be made 'in conformity with the true good willed by the wisdom of the Creator' (1783, CCC), but Francis made no mention of God in his assessment.
Anyway, I must admit that this made me suspicious, and I remembered hearing something by MDM on the false prophet. I got sucked into it for about a week, until I came to my senses, and now feel somewhat ashamed about my suspicion towards our Pope, when truly he seems to be a good man.
But who to believe?!?! Was Fr. Gobbi reliable? Can a lay person like me join the Marian Priest Movement here in Ireland?
Thanks again for the welcome guys.

Visionaries and even, God forgive me Popes come an go But Christ remains Eternal.:)

I have been thinking lately of when I was a young Catholic and thought I knew the answer to everything. Then I lost my Faith and thought I had the answer to everything again, but in a different kind of way.

I found my Faith again by suddenly realising I had the answer to nothing at all.

Now I am older this finding and loosing buisness has made me a lot more humble. ;)

But so long as I have Christ and His blessed Mother I am happy, for they are all the answer I need.
    Psalm 131:

1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. 2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.…

I find myself more and more at peace in saying, 'Lord I do not know. You Lord do the knowing for me. I shall follow you'.
