In China a two-year-old girl wandered away from her father's hardware store and is struck by a van. It runs over her with the front wheels. Stops. Then runs over her with the backwheel. She's in a pool of her own blood. Guys on bicyles have to weave around to avoid hitting her . . . and they keep on going. Women holding the hands of children gawk . . . but keep on going. People just walk on by until a lady finally stops. The apathy and total disregard for life is astounding. This is what the culture of death has lead to. And it will only get worse. I watched raw footage on YouTube. I wish I hadn't. The title was appropriately named Global Apathy? . . if anyone wants to look it up for themselves . . . but I tell you it is sickening, heart-wrenching, and deeply troubling. . . so if you're at all sensitive you might want to steer clear. I'll post the article. http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/18/world/asia/china-toddler-hit-and-run/index.html?eref=mrss_igoogle_cnn
http://vultus.stblogs.org/2007/06/sub-tuum-praesidium-confugimus-1.html China seems to be a place apart. Forced abortions. Mandatory restrictions to one child families. Harveting executed prisoners organs for money. New and savage persecution, particualry against the Catholic Church. Did you ever read any of the goings on of Mao Tse Tung when he was in power. He seems to have been a thoroughly evil and immoral individual responsible for the mass murder of more individuals than anyperson in history. I read about when they took over Shanghai. They tied their opponents up and threw them alive into the steel furnaces there, apparently their screams could be heard all over the city. The same thing happened when Fidel took over Havanna , they used Battistas old secret police HQ to torutre folks to death all night. I would say the wicked group of old men who lead China are totally Satanically possessed. On the other hand they say in CHina at the minute there is the biggest Christian revival in history. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-14838749 Mass executions, China
I don't even want to look at the clip, as I know I will be disgusted. You have to think that some of the response is driven by the Chinese culture, which is driven by their crazy leaders. It is a shame that they have become powerful enough that no one, not even the US, speaks out against their human rights violations. We, and the media, just kind of ignore the violations as if they don't exist. Make no mistake, they want to own the AP region. It is why they are building up their navy. A friend told me their navy could never challenge the US navy, and that may be true...but all they'd need to do is launch a cyber attack on our systems, and that would level the playing field real quick! We are so dependant on technology, therefore it is a vulnerability. They are capable of that. But I think we are in denial.
I cannot begin to imagine the coldness of heart that would have a man slowly and deliberately run over a child a second time in an effort to make sure she is dead, followed by all the bystanders who ignored her. The news this morning is that poor Yue-yue has died. I hope she is in the arms of Jesus and knows love and joy in a way that makes the hell she has been through the past week as nothing.
