This is nice. It is a distilled version of what the nature of prayer to the Holy Spirit should be, right? It is easy to remember and to say often when help is needed as well. It reminds me ot St Augustine's prayer to the Holy Spirit. I will post that in a minute (when I can find it). I am only familiar with it because in the confessional today, father recommended prayer to the Holy Spirit. It was stunning because I knew that aspect of my prayer life was missing, and I was just yesterday and earlier today being led to seek a prayer conversation with God the Holy Spirit because I truly desired growth in holiness, but was finding it challenging (and humbling)...So I used my phone after doing my penance to search for prayers to the Holy Spirit, and that was the one that I liked most as a practical prayer to say often.
Here it is: Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy. -Saint Augustine
