I am going to a Catholic healing mass tonight which I have never been to. I feel called to go. I confess I am nervous and do not know what to expect. Anyone have any insights or knowledge of them?
    Thx for any input.

There is nothing to be nervous about, Dear Charity. It is a beautiful thing, just like a regular mass. My husband and I have attended some in Texas and Louisiana, and I attended one in California ( i should say we celebrated not attended mass). The only difference is that towards the end of mass people are invited to come close to the altar where the priest will lay hands on you and a helper is ready to help you down to the ground safely if you are "slain in the spirit". People who fee l the Holy Spirit touch them are all in varying degrees. I myself usually feel just a little woosy but very very peaceful and itcontinue only lasts a relatively short time, say a few minutes to maybe several more minutes. But it is different for everyone. Sometimes the priest may give you a "word" from the Holy Spirit. This is something you want to continue speaking to the Lord about in your own time and your own way. Just trust that our Lord is so loving, so genLtle and keep your heart open and loving back to Him in return. I myself just see it as giving and receiving Divine Love at the opportunity of the celebration of the Holy Mass. Hope you feel a special loving touch of Our Lord tonite.
