Well ETA ,you make some fair arguments and valid points here .As a man of reason ,and being analytical as you are on this occasion, it is a wonder you can stand or defend some of the material that comes from LTTW. Perhaps we should review some of that prophecy?

This will not be a short process, or one that will be completed quickly. The cardinals will go back and forth, looking at many possible candidates. In all of this, I will be guiding them by my inner light, attracting them to some candidates and leading them away from others.

I appreciate your holiness and excitement over LTTW and the holiness of Msgr Esseff and the locutionist. However, I now believe exactly what Charlie Johnston says, 80% true, 20% false. Thanks Mac for bringing out the inconsistencies in the LTTW messages. To get what these messages say, all I have to do is watch CNN and be knowledgeable of Marian teachings/prophecies. It is now becoming clearer that we, the US, have been either directly or indirectly arming al queda/issis or whoever/whatever you want to call them. If it weren't for Putin/Assad most of the Christians left in Syria would already have been slaughtered. I guess LTTW thinks that is a bad thing.

 

I've never seen any locutions (which fall into an even more quasi area for judgement than visions) or private revelations that were or could be judged a priori or without taking into consideration the very different cultures or "vessels" through which they occur, by percentages of what is or what could be true (a lot of chutzpah there for sure)....esp. when main events are still ongoing. Ha! If you remember, Charlie also did not prefer, or they were not his cup of tea, what was involved or included in Medjugorje...didn't believe it either..... UNTIL he was told by his heavenly visitor that they were the real thing! Without that he would probably have remained in the same judgement position. Odd that people would use another, even less explained other than generalities, "private type revelation" for the basis of judging another one, esp. when that basis itself admits to faults in prior judgements! I'd feel safer in accepting the judgement of the long time tried and true spiritual director of many at all stages of mystical experience, as the good Msgr Esseff, himself an experienced exorcist with the assumed ability to root out the wiles or influences of the evil one, recognized as trustworthy as well by such other experienced "pencils" of God as Mother Theresa. JPII did tell us to use our reason with our faith.

It's simply that overall I've found the locutions to fit the times....esp. in their case when things were mentioned in a prescient way for the events predicted but as yet not having come to pass for the reader. One thing for sure, as Jesus labeled him....Francis has certainly been a "game changer". And it was rather amazing what the Cardinals spoke of in their personal experiences of this unusual Conclave afterwards.....of a real experience of the working of the Holy Spirit beyond what was assumed would quickly happen at first....and how they were then literally moved through that Spirit to choose the way they did with such a person. And while Francis draws the masses to more interest in the Church through his ways, as said, the Church will continue to still not be prepared enough for what is coming in order to overcome the evil that has been allowed to take over for so long. Only the "Woman clothed with the Sun" is empowered through this age by God to be the only refuge (with her Son)...and so must be called forth. The aforementioned "priest son" could just be a specific catalyst for generating this needed movement from the grassroots in order to bring the Bishops into an awakening themselves since they too must cooperate in union with the Pope. It's been through grassroots (the Faithful) that other revelations have received the attention needed by those in authority and even to influence the canonization of saints!

We certainly cannot judge God's ways (far above our own as scripture says) through some kind of human spreadsheet so limited by the number of adjacent brain cells attempting to work it all out! That's why the Holy Spirit was given to us!

 

I wish I had the stomach to read more,so I could point out all the inconsistencies ,confusion and double talk coming from these messages. But they just make me feel ill. Despite the messages loving Pope Francis, Pope Francis thinks nothing of them...

It goes through all of the to and fros of the reasonings, thoughts, different camps during the dinners and speeches prior to the actual voting process that took 6 ballots. So that two days before the actual balloting and after weighing the many choices and after taking notice of C. Bergoglio's own very short but to the point speech there was a new "wind" which contributed to his own "knowing" and his heart felt request in the piazza "pray for me" to his old friend, Fr. Rosica, and the question to him "are you nervous?"!

.......Some princes of the church believed Cardinal Bergoglio, at 76, was probably too old to become pope, especially after Benedict XVI had specifically cited his age and frailty as reasons for his resignation. "We came into this whole process thinking: The next pope has to be vigorous and therefore probably younger," said Cardinal George. "So there you have a man who isn't young. He's 76 years old.

The Spirit was indeed moving through all of these original factions and ways of thinking.

It's a discussion forum for furthering information and opinions showing facts and research to back information offered I would hope. Although I don't accept all Malachi Martin's views as published on the internet, I was impressed by his comment that the big events would start from the Ukraine. He is supposed, after all, to have read the full third Fatima secret.

The violence in the Ukraine continues but it is very difficult (actually impossible) for us to get accurate information on who is responsible for what. But I do take Gorbachev's views very seriously as he is no friend of Putin but knows more than most about what is going on in the Ukraine.

The Kiev part is very interesting. There’s also a quote from Fr. Martin from a long interview on April 18, 1996.
