Gog and Magog battle seen by Jewish youth

I think the boy did have NDE, as it seems very obvious to me. However, like he said, he was shown WW3 in a movie like fashion. He was not told of what he saw and it was up to him to interpret it all as he saw it. This is where the subjectivity comes in to play. Especially when it comes to the figures he sees as the Messiah, Gog (Obama) and Magog. I think he understood most of what he saw, but his Jewish upbringing led him to interpret these few details with their faith beliefs.

One thing is certain if Obama was part of the vision and that is it won't be long for this prophecy to be filled, or not, as he has little time left in office.

I read some background and Natan was raised in a secular home so he had little upbringing in the Jewish faith.

A major escalation over there is ripening with the Saudis and Turks amassing a huge invasion force. Russia and China both with forces in place. Iran and their network of evil doers menacing the region.

I'm inclined to agree with you. The boy said that what he saw was all new to him. They were portraying him as being completely ignorant of the Gog/Magog prophecy because he had little or no religious education. I find it hard to believe that any Jewish kid with access to the internet and growing up in a Jewish society is completely ignorant of Jewish beliefs about the end times.

He could have had some kind of dream or hallucination, but the sceptic in me rejects the suggestion that he was anywhere near Heaven. I'm no fan of Obama, but casting him as Gog is stretching things a tad. This is what happens when people put politics and political parties in place of God and faith.

As a father of teenagers I can most surely confirm that kids, especially those from a secular household, are not spending their time on the internet reading about their faith, much less their faith's beliefs about the end times.

You'd be shocked if you knew what they do spend their time doing on the internet. Unless G-Eazy starts rapping about the end times, or Josh Peck starts posting viral Vines about it, I'd say less than 5% of all teens today could tell you what the end times even means much less tell you what the 10 commandments are :(

At least to me... every thing seems valid. He says some very spiritual things that only people that have gone through near death experiences have seen. But what is most interesting is the lower Torah room. Any liar would have said the torah room is the highest place in heaven. But he stated twice that it was a lower room and that there were higher spaces reserved for those who repent. In my opinion, he is speaking about Christians, even though he doesn't interpret it that way. He describes judgement to the best of his ability. He says heaven is hard to explain because all knowledge is in the moment. Heaven is spiritual and we cannot describe it sufficiently. I think Brother Fatima has a good understanding that the boy was shown a vision and then subjectivity comes into play. That's why I am also not sure about the Obama part. But overall, this is one of the better near death experiences I have read.

Not yet...but might consider once I'm done with St. Fultan Sheen Life of Christ. I guess Fulton had time on his hands because its as long as the bible. So, my 15 minutes a night... i might be done in a few months :)

So, the question is, does it correlate with the video? Doesn't have to be the same but it should have some similarities.

    :)

The baptist minister was shown spirits that were familiar to him while he was headed towards heaven (ones who had died who were important to his spiritual life) and he was shown the beauty and especially incredible sights and sounds of heaven but he didn't go in, he could see in and sense what it was like. The difference is the book talks mainly about his experience back here on earth after his return and the struggles he faced, while Natan is talking only about what he learned and saw while he was there

Maybe the part about Obama came from "coaching" by the interviewers, similar to what can happen when kids are interviewed as witnesses to crime.....by asking leading questions, you can get them to remember things that didn't really happen.

has anyone ever read this book? i read it when it first came out. he is local and it was quite the experience.

i really wasn't a practicing Catholic when i read but it really helped start my coming back to Christ. I should read it again now and see it through my Catholic eyes. there are a number of youtube videos with Reverend Storm but have not watched him either. i especially love how it was a local sister of Notre Dame that helped him out and became a close friend of his. Prior to his NDE he was an atheist and would mock the sister for her beliefs in his art class that he taught her in the local University here.

I'm past being shocked at what teenagers get into on the internet. Teenagers in Israel know that they live in a dangerous neighbourhood. Even the most secular of them must be aware that their country is always under threat. Wouldn't classes on their nation's history include references to the Old Testament prophets and prophecies? I find it hard to believe that there wasn't even general chitchat about prophecy during all the recent discussions about Iran's nuclear ambitions. That's the kind of stuff that a group of kids would sensationalise.

home sick today so going to watch this now. Looks interesting.

ok watched that and it was a follow up to the first interview years earlier. It did not give much of his experience. You want to watch this one first:

I find him very believable. Something did seriously happen to him. His conviction yet humble spirit releaving such truths at that age seems unlikely. The experience happened a week before this video so unless he was coached for weeks ahead of time this is a true experience. Perhaps he is an excellent studend of the Torah and simply is making it all up? Doesn't appear so. I found it fascinating.

He revealed Jesus in every way possible without using His name. He said He was very well known by many, already exisits and many will be surprised to find out who He is. He is sinless. He will decide who enters Heaven or not, meaning all will pass through Him before God. It wasn't the boy's place to reveal Christ's Name but to warn, and what a serious warning it was.

The war he talks about is exactly in the bible.....
    The Destroyers of Jerusalem Destroyed
1Behold, a day is coming for the LORD when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.…

As for Obama being the AC, I guess we can only watch and see. My understanding was he would be of Jewish decent and trick many Jews into thinking he was the messiah before they see the truth.

Yes, he could have been describing Jesus. That part was credible.

I suppose that Obama could have Jewish ancestry that he isn't aware of, the Jews having been dispersed far and wide but there's nobody claiming they made it to Kenya. Among other reasons he doesn't fit the bill are that the Jews will proclaim the AC to be the Messiah and Obama isn't exactly beloved by the people of Israel; the AC will be a man not beloved by women so that can't be Obama.

I'm more inclined to the view that some of those OT prophecies will be applied to Christians rather than the modern Israelites. Isn't the Church the new Israel, or am I mistaken?

i read it on my bday in one day. it rocked me. i went out and bought several copies and just gave them to people and told them to pass it on when they were done. i hoped it help them as it did me. i just finished both videos. they are great i think. i really should look him up. he still lives in northern Kentucky where i live. i did not know that he was discerning becoming Catholic and the priests he was talking to told him he was doing so much good in his ministry and church of his youth that why should he leave? puzzling and makes you think too. he reminds me a lot of Marino Restrepo's experience. Marino was a Catholic of his youth turned atheist. God told him that there were many paths to Him and we will be measured in how much we loved but did tell him that the Catholic path is the truest and yet hardest path with the most suffering. I believe that.
