One of the most horrifying books I ever read was One Second After. It is eye opening of how devastating an EMP would be.

 

I fear that the Year of Mercy will be ended before many realise and the doors will be shut. How sad that day will be for those who miss out.

I don't think I have understood how the timing of the doors closing and the Warning are connected. I would like to think that the Warning will come in time for the crowds to get through those doors. I'm working on my stubborn brothers who are very amused by my badgering to get them to confession. I think I might just about make it by the end of the summer if I offer to drive them.

 

I hear you.
However, we are all conditioned on the hour-by-hour news cycle, so when major things happen, it is interesting for a day or a week then we want some new thing to intrigue us.

When 9/11 happened, with its potential for prophetic significance, it did fill churches. For about a week, then it was back to the business of idolatry, and boasting how quickly we rebuilt the market.

A friend was recently talking to me in a vein similar to your post. I said, "a quarter of a million people being washed out to sea isn't historic?" For a moment she didn't even know what I was talking about. I had to remind her of the astonishing 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. It held the West's interest for a few days, then it was on to some scandal or other. There are extraordinary events piling one on top of another but they are lost in the din and in our cravings.

So the memory fades so quickly it loses meaning. This is why "remembrance," specifically, "remembrance of God's works" is such a vital theme for Christians (and Jews). The internet has made us lose our memories. It is only the intrigue of right NOW. Then we move on, bored.

2 Corinthians 4.4 indeed.

"If they do not hear Moses and the prophets they will not believe even if someone returns from the dead" (Luke 16.31)

We know that prophetic warnings aren't heeded, it's in our nature. So the upcoming miracle of the sign of the cross in the sky will deepen the faith of believers and may convert some, but the warning for our day is to back away from the obsessive need for the new and distracting so that when major events to occur we can let them move our hearts closer to Jesus. I imagine the miracle of the cross in the sky will be met with first terror, then interest, then boredom and back to business as usual.

The redemptive acts of God, His mighty works, are codified in the Psalms for this very reason - to keep them alive so we may use them to fuel our faith and give deeper praise to God. Psalm 111 - "Great are the works of the Lord, to be pondered by all who love them. He makes us remember his wonders, the Lord is compassionate and love."

The Warning is the only hope for people who have no sense of sin and no fear of God. I find myself praising God daily for the great gift of the Warning. It will come before the doors of Mercy close.

 

I don't know if you are correct Kathy that the Warning could come before the end of the Doors of Mercy year. But I have started beating a trail to the nearest 'Holy Doors' each time I attend Holy Mass and receive Eucharist.

I am working my way through all my own family, then I will extend out. If God spares me, I hope to work on the living first since there are so many who I am most concerned about. Then it is on to the deceased relatives. Then I was thinking of those firstly in our parish who are housebound through age or infirmity. It would not be hard to attend Mass and Eucharist every day and have another soul to pray for. We are allowed to do this.

And all in case the Lord should choose this year to make that 'wake up' call to us all.

You see I believe, He will grant a grace in His Mercy to those I am bringing to Him, since like the paraplegic dropped through a roof because he was not able to do it for himself so Our Lord could heal him. I am dropping 'spiritual paraplegics' at the 'Holy Doors' of His Mercy this year, and trust in His boundless Mercy for all. Just in case.

 

I think this is not only possible, but also consistent with the jubilee year of Mercy, since it was defined, I believe, as an ultimate act of Divine Mercy.

 

It is worth noting that Antonio Yague, from the Sacred Astronomy thread on MOG, had predicted (based on his reading of sacred astronomy) the Warning to come exactly one week before the end of the Year of Mercy and he did this long before Pope Francis named the Year of Mercy. I am beginning to think his sacred astronomy timeline may come to fruition.

 

Yet another alleged messenger is saying the time is over. Something big is coming, as Padraig suggests!

Daughter, it is I, the Suffering Servant, the Lamb who was slain and the Glorified King, the Risen One, the Lion of Judah. There is no other name than Yahushua, whereby man can be saved. I wish to share what is on My heart with you, as you have been praying to have a deeper understanding of My heart and My great love for My people.
In order to be called one of Mine, to be My elect and My chosen, My set-apart ones and My royal priesthood, you must desire to join Me in the fullness of who I AM. Those who know Me intimately must not only pray to join Me in My sufferings, but seek Me there earnestly. It is not possible to truly know Me in the fullness of who I AM, unless you are willing to embrace all that I endured. You cannot have the glorified life without the crucified one. To only seek My glory and My joy robs you of the deeper understanding of the love that was required in My sacrifice on the Cross, and it limits you from attaining the unconditional love for My lost ones that I require My chosen ones to embody. My resurrection is only part of the journey. The pain and the sacrifice required to attain the glorified life is more than most are willing to ask for and walk in, in this life.
As I continue to teach you, it is always a heart matter. It is not what goes in and out of a man that defiles a man, but what is sown and then matured and displayed from the heart. Truly, the heart of a man tells all. It is not enough to agree to walk the narrow path with Me, if you are not willing to taste the bitterness of the crucified life as well. Pain and suffering bring about humility, and I give My grace to the humble. It will always be enough for every situation, for I will mercifully season your journey with My grace when I have been given your whole heart; when you have come in complete covenant with Me and choose to start in the garden of sorrows first, joining Me in My agony, and then continuing on My road of Calvary to the ultimate display of unconditional love the world has ever known.
This is what I seek from My remnant. This is what is pleasing to My heart. This is the crucified life, a life of selflessness, a life of surrender, a life in harmony and unity with the One who not only came to display this in human, bodily form, but who also led by example in showing you that this way can be done. Nothing is impossible with God, and nothing is unattainable when you fully abide in Me.
Do you feel this is asking too much? Remember My most important instructions to you. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love each other with My love, as I have loved you. What greater thing could I tell you? I do not ask of you anything I have not already done, or anything that you are not able to do. It is always your choice. You are the ones who limit the fullness of what you are permitted to walk in here by your unwillingness to accept and embrace the entire truth of what it means to walk the narrow way. There is comfort and ease going the wide and broad way which only leads to destruction. Choose My way, and the joy We will share from the surrendered life will far exceed anything you could ever imagine!
Choose this moment all you who are reading these words. Do you believe the words I have given to My messengers and My prophets that time is indeed over? You have seen in My words that I am faithful, and I am true. My hands are extended to those of you who have not yet fully committed. Make the choice to be all in- NOW, for in a moment you know not, everything will change. Doubt not that every jot and tittle of My Word will come to pass, and that My judgment is upon the lands. For you see, I am merciful, but I am also just, and it is through My judgments that My glory will be revealed and My righteousness established forevermore. You know not the day or the hour that your life will be required of you, so choose this moment and choose wisely. What an honor and a privilege it is to be called a son or a daughter of the most High God. There is no greater position or calling. You do not want to find yourselves standing before The King of kings and Lord of lords making excuses for the lives you have lived here. Pray to be found blameless and holy in My sight, and pray to be found worthy to escape all these things which are now coming upon the earth. For you who have made covenant with Me shall know no fear, and I will hide you under My wings.

THE HOUR HAS COME-YEA, THE MOMENT OF THE VALLEY OF DECISION

Your journey through this life is always a heart matter. When My Spirit lives within you, I reside in the heart of the one who has given Me permission and granted Me access to mold and fashion you to be the expression of who I am and manifest Myself through you in word and deed. It is then My life force that drives and motivates you to move in the direction of My will. My heart's desire is then your heart's desire. This higher calling that I draw each of you into will bring you deeper and deeper into My rest, a place where you truly abide.
You can go through crucible after crucible until you come to a place of abiding and find true rest in Me. Your purpose is to abide in Me, so that I can bathe you with My presence. Those who know Me and truly abide in Me, praise and worship Me in good times and in sorrowful and difficult times, in sickness and in health, in wealth or in poverty, it matters not. Those who are Mine speak One truth and praise My design no matter what the situation. It is intricately made, a tapestry of moments knit together to glorify Me in all things.
So when you dwell in this realm where gross darkness has covered the lands, because My heart lives within you, you are neither shaken nor are you moved off your foundation which is Me, the Rock.
I have spoken it, this world is full of tribulation and sorrow, but rejoice in that your Messiah has overcome. Your victory becomes evident to you as you remain steadfast and firm through the struggles of this life as My laws have been written on your heart. In Me you live, you move, and have your being. You understand what you are, an eternal being residing in a temporal place designed to have an experience in this space and time that reflects the personification of your Creator's true heart and unconditional love for His creation.
For always remember, you are not alone. I will never leave you. All of your experiences here are just a small piece of a much larger design, one that originated from your Father's heart, and with His desire that each step of your journey would draw you closer in intimacy, therefore glorifying Him. In Me is the perfection of this design.
This time that I have chosen you to be in is like no other. You have been chosen to tether Heaven and earth. You have been chosen to be Me and display to this lost and dying world that I am the Bridge, and I am the Ladder, I am the Gateway, and I am the Good Shepherd. I am the only Way.
Everything is about to change. The former things will pass away, as I sweep across this earth. It is time to reap that which has been sown. So I ask you this day, is your heart prepared truly to receive all that I have prepared for you? Wherein does your bed lie? Who are you most intimate with, Me or the world? Will your fruit be found pleasing to Me, or have you neglected to till your garden and nurture all that has been so freely given? This question I bring to you this day, for surely My warnings have been direct and numerous through all My watchmen and prophets.
The hour is come, yea - the moment of the valley of decision, for I must be true to My Word and I must act upon all that has been spoken and ordained from before the foundation of time. Does My Word not teach that not one jot or tittle will disappear until all is fulfilled?
Know therefore My children, that you are a mere breath away from the midnight hour. What will your position and response be when facing the culmination of all things as you have known them? To whom will you turn for your deliverance? To whom will you find shelter, protection, and true abiding rest from My judgments?
All has been presented before you, and those who have ears to hear have heard their Master, their Shepherd's voice and have entered the ark. For those who have not heard until now, do not be as those in the days of Noah, seeking entrance and safety from the storms that are upon you after they arrive, for the door will have been sealed and you will endure much.

This is incorrect.....it can only be applied to our self or a deceased person. It cannot be applied to any other living person. See extract below taken from Divine Mercy site:


Even though we can only obtain one plenary indulgence a day, if you perform the required actions for other plenary indulgences on the same day, you can still obtain multiple partial indulgences.

To receive the Jubilee Year indulgence, you must fulfill the usual conditions, (specified below) and perform the indulgenced act: passing through a designated Holy Door during the extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy (between Dec. 8, 2015, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, and Nov. 20, 2016, the Solemnity of Christ the King) or performing one of the corporal or spiritual works of mercy.

As for the sick and the elderly, the Holy Father says, "For them it will be of great help to live their sickness and suffering as an experience of closeness to the Lord who in the mystery of his Passion, death and Resurrection indicates the royal road which gives meaning to pain and loneliness. Living with faith and joyful hope this moment of trial, receiving communion or attending Holy Mass and community prayer, even through the various means of communication, will be for them the means of obtaining the Jubilee Indulgence."

For the imprisoned, the Holy Father says, "They may obtain the Indulgence in the chapels of the prisons. May the gesture of directing their thought and prayer to the Father each time they cross the threshold of their cell signify for them their passage through the Holy Door, because the mercy of God is able to transform hearts, and is also able to transform bars into an experience of freedom."

You may receive the plenary indulgence yourself, or offer it for a person in purgatory.

To receive a plenary indulgence
To refresh everyone's memories, here are the normal conditions for receiving a plenary indulgence:

• It is necessary that the faithful be in the state of grace at least at the time the indulgenced work is completed.
• A plenary indulgence can be gained only once a day. In order to obtain it, the faithful must, in addition to being in the state of grace:
  • have the interior disposition of complete detachment from sin, even venial sin;
  • have sacramentally confessed their sins;
  • receive the Holy Eucharist (it is certainly better to receive it while participating in Holy Mass, but for the indulgence only Holy Communion is required); and
  • pray for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff.
• It is appropriate, but not necessary, that the sacramental Confession and especially Holy Communion and the prayer for the Pope's intentions take place on the same day that the indulgenced work is performed; but it is sufficient that these sacred rites and prayers be carried out within several days (about 20) before or after the indulgenced act. Prayer for the Pope's intentions is left to the choice of the faithful, but an Our Father and a Hail Mary are suggested. One sacramental Confession suffices for several plenary indulgences, but a separate Holy Communion and a separate prayer for the Holy Father's intentions are required for each plenary indulgence.
• For the sake of those legitimately impeded, confessors can commute both the work prescribed and the conditions required (except, obviously, detachment from even venial sin).

Absolutely! Remember St. Faustina's novena to Divine Mercy. Jesus told her, "Bring me the souls of...." and gave a different category each day. We can absolutely bring those we love through the doors of mercy in the Divine Will. Indulgences are wonderful treasures of the Church. But how could it not delight the Lord when we bring those paralytics to him?

This message speaks of the great love our Lord has for his children who are hearing and preparing for what is already upon us. The darkness which will invade the souls who are distant from God will be terrible. It is like the 'last call' for those to enter the ark of God's grace and protection. A beautiful message.

I have personal categories of people I pray for at the end of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I pray again, "Oh blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for"...and I name the group...then, I finish with "I trust in You."

 

I had this debate with my husband because of what he read on this site and that site. There is a CTS leaflet at our Holy Doors Shrine, and in the leaflet it says you can bring the souls of the living as well as the departed. One at a time. You need to have received Holy Communion and been to confession within 8 days. You need to say a prayer for Holy Fathers intentions. The minimum for Holy Father is on Creed and one Our Father.

I'm still jogging on; into the late 60s at the moment. Sometimes not able to make it otherwise it would be as many souls as there are days since the 8th December. All for Thee my Jesus, all for Thee through Mary. Amen.

And for those who say we can't make the Pilgrimage for the living. Once I had read it was ok in the CTS leaflet, and showed it to my disbelieving husband, he conceded once he saw it in writing. I also asked our parish Priest and he said, yes I can make the Pilgrimage for the living as well as the departed, one soul at a time.

And every time you say the prayer of Saint Gertrude Jesus promised to release 1,000 souls from Purgatory.

Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus
In union with all the Holy Masses said today, throughout the world.
For all the poor souls in the prison of Purgatory,
For sinners everywhere, sinners in the Universal Church.
Sinners in my own home, in my own family,
And for myself. Amen. (Just reading that prayer has released 1,000 souls from Purgatory)

And if you want to send a moment of relief for only God knows how many souls remaining in Purgatory.
Merciful Jesus, please cover the poor souls in Purgatory with Your most precious Blood,
That You may cool down their scorching flames. Amen.

 

I will never forget when we went to hear dear Father Gobbi RIP speak in person. He asked us to bring as many souls as possible and put them into the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so she who is the Ark of the New Covenant can save them. He did not say only the departed; but our loved ones who are living and may be far from God. I remember him saying stuff as many of them as you can while there is still time. The Blessed Mother will Triumph. Praise God.

VISION OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY SWALLOWED BY TIDAL WAVES - MY BRIDE STEPS INTO IMMORTALITY

This morning, June 29, 2016 upon waking, I was given a vision. I saw the Statue of Liberty in the United States being overtaken suddenly by tidal waves. Everywhere around the statue was under water. The waves came fast and engulfed her until she was out of sight. I also saw types of containers and the word 'cistern' came to mind. They were man-made, placed all over the world, and filled with water representing the power and strength that man feels he has built for himself. These cisterns were cracking, pieces dropping to the ground as their substance poured out, then disintegrated completely. From the Throne of God, Father then showed me living water being poured out like never before in great measure, while He smiled upon His remnant. This living water is radically transforming His remnant into a glorified people, each one receiving a beautiful crystal like pitcher of this living water that is poured in and through the Bride member, and then from there onto all who they minister to. This living water is actually made up of millions of tiny jewels, radiant and brilliant and intricately designed, treasures beyond measure from the Kingdom of Heaven for this time of now, and with this outpouring, His Bride is illuminated and appears transparent.

WORD FROM YAHUSHUA THAT FOLLOWED:

It is I dear one, the Lamb that was slain, now come as the roaring Lion. It is I your Redeemer, He who ever lives to intercede for you and for all men. It is I, the Supreme King and Counselor to all. Hear Me sweet child, as I desire your focus to be acute and your perception sharp.
A great and mighty outpouring is upon My people. Kingdoms and nations once mighty and powerful will fall, as they are not built on My foundations, but they are built on the greed, lust and idolatry of man in his pride. I announce this day, open wide your arms My chosen ones, reach Heavenward and lift your eyes to your King, His Majesty!
It brings great joy to Me and to My Father, and all of Heaven gathers for this great and glorious outpouring reserved for this time of now. This is your latter day outpouring, and this that I bestow upon you serves to draw many, many of the lost to Me so We may then usher in the new Kingdom upon this earth.
I have been preparing a set-apart people, a sanctified assembly, a holy people to carry out My mandates, anchoring them here in this place, as the systems of this world crumble. Hold fast My people to all I have taught you and My laws which have been written upon your hearts.
My true remnant church know who they are. To the world, they are no one. They are the homeless, the downtrodden, the persecuted and the outcast. They are My shut away ones, the ones who the world shuns, and the ones overlooked. Many of My true Bride are the homemakers, the lowly in the world's eyes, those doing jobs and tasks that the proud would never consider doing. These are the ones closest to My heart, because they are pure in heart, because every simple and small task they perform is for My glory, and to advance My Kingdom. These contrite and humble ones do not seek recognition here but rest in the knowing that they have the highest honor in My Kingdom because they have given Me their all. These ones are the passionately weak ones for My fire burns hotly within them and they are violently desperate for Me and Me alone. Truly I tell you, the first shall be last and the last shall be first.
To you My loves, My precious jewels, I have brought you out of the world to bring you into My heart. You have been patient and long-suffering for so long. I say to you now, arise! Rise and stretch forth your arms to receive the glorious latter day rain outpouring I have reserved for you for this time. I am ready to cause you to work great and mighty exploits in My name.
Much, much chaos now ensues. You who walk in complete faith and trust in Me shall not be shaken nor shall you be moved. As the world succumbs to the recompense due her because of her gross sin, My shining ones rise to glory, your faces transforming to Mine, the Shining One, radiating the unconditional love of a Father for His children.
You will transcend this realm and all its earthly boundaries and limitations, stepping into immortality, while yet still here in this realm. This is a mystery that My Bride understands, as she has taken My wisdom into her heart and has readied herself and My vessels, her bodies, as My sanctuaries.
Prepare to receive unto Me the lost and the inconsolable, the broken and the battered. My love through you is the healing balm they require and the only remedy for the pain they will experience due to all I release in judgment upon the earth. Salvation will be nearer to these ones suffering than it ever was before.
Give them My heart. So great a gift, so simple a message to bring them. Unconditional love is and always has been the saving life force, along with the gift that My blood sacrifice offers and its redeeming power. Profound, truly, and all encompassing.
Ready yourselves My army, ready yourselves. The time is come..
