    It was lightning!
This fb post is fascinating. There was a bad thunderstorm in the area and the pillar that was hit was central to holding up the other ones. So they all became unstable.
Wow. Lightning. An act of God.

Unfortunately no, lightning would have brilliantly lit up the entire screen with white light. Look at videos of lightning strikes.

    This didn’t.

An earthquake may have toppled the granite slabs, but not smashed it into small pieces like this.

It was definitely an explosion. Locals heard the explosion and called police.

If it was an explosion, why didn't CCTV as in the video above catch the culprits? Also, if these stones were built to withstand nuclear/atomic explosions how would this have happened by human hands?

I heard that they took down the remaining stones too for safety. Now it's gone gone.

    Good riddance!

Look up footage of lightning strikes on YouTube. Watch at least a half dozen. They are all marked by a brilliant white flash of light that momentarily washes out the entire screen. You can barely make out peripheral objects, if at all.

There's no brilliant white flash in this scene.

Lightning wouldn't strike the side of this vertical granite slab. It would strike the top granite slab. But if you look closely at the fracture pattern of that slab, it has been smashed by a rapid blast originating from below, not above.

If you look closely, there's a large horizontal crack in the central granite slab still standing next to the smashed one too.

This indicates high explosives, cutting charges.

The fact the powers that be haven't released footage of the "perpetrators" does not prove anything.

My question...what if they know who or what caused the destruction but, don't want it to get out? It could explain why they were in a hurry to dismantle the rest of it before any investigation could be completed. (n)

Yes, this could well be a false flag, in other words they blew it up themselves and we’ll never know “who did it” because they removed the evidence the same day.

Does what was predicted in the monuments about reducing the world population to 500,000 have anything to do with the annihilation of various nations predicted at Fatima?

Interesting observation Luan. "They" certainly want to permanently reduce the population. And to do so would annihilate millions.

Would not the entire location be considered a “crime scene” at least until authorities could review and establish what happened? It just seems so odd that local police would allow anyone to come on scene to destroy and remove evidence of a potential crime. Something is not right.
