The Virgin appeared with her Child to the teenager but it was to be for the last time at Garabandal. As Mary had already indicated this was to be a special apparition for kissing religious objects and Conchita had many with her. Conchita & the doll picture The reason I selected this picture was on purpose. I remember in the early days of when I was first learning and talking to Joey and those friends who went to Garabandal , that they had told me the doctors there had said the girls (even though they were 11, 12 years old ,and Conchita was older than that in this picture ), still played with dolls had the intellect and emotional understanding of an 8 year old, due to their remote mountain isolation. Now consider that when all these supernatural events are happening . I mention this to refute the internet lies that these 4 girls ,managed to orchestrate or fake over 2000 apparitions over 4 years, fooling many doctors, priests, and law enforcement. IMPOSSIBLE !
I remember watching a musical from the 30's that took place in Paris. One scene showed two girls who appeared between 12 and 14 carrying small dolls. My then-wife commented that this was not uncommon at the time, that young teenagers played with dolls. Not too strange when you think that the majority of girls were being taught how to be wives and mothers.
