ARE YOUR HANDS EMPTY ? The Last Apparition at Garabandal November 13, 1965, was a day mixed with joy and sadness for Conchita. The Virgin appeared with her Child to the teenager but it was to be for the last time at Garabandal. As Mary had already indicated this was to be a special apparition for kissing religious objects and Conchita had many with her. After kissing the articles, the Virgin said: 'Through the kiss I have bestowed on these objects, my Son will perform prodigies. Distribute them to others. Talk to me, Conchita, talk to me about my children. I hold them all beneath my mantle. This will be the last time you will see me here but I shall always be with you and with all my children. Conchita, why don't you go and visit my Son in the tabernacle? He waits for you night and day." Conchita said to the Virgin, "I am so happy when I see both of you. Why don't you take me now to heaven with you?" She replied, "Remember what I told you on your patronal feast day? " When you present yourself before God, your hands must be filled with good deeds done for your brothers and for His glory. At the present time, your hands are empty."

What a joy! It isn't necessary to be perfect to see her. I have been a girl with many faults. On the day on which the Angel appeared to us, I had just fought with Jacinta. And I see that today I still don't like to pray. She comes to make us good ."
At age 16 Conchita was already was spiritually wise: "There is no point in our believing in the apparitions if we do not heed the message." (Star on the Mountain, p. 118 ) “To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin .Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message! “ March 2013 Glenn’s conversation with Conchita With all of the arguing over which of the different visionary’s is right, predicting dates, the future of our new Pope, the direction of the church, I've learned one thing, its all distracting, and detracting from our spiritual goals. The best advice I ever got was from Conchita ( when I asked her about the direction of all these things) ,she talked about maintaining your spiritual life (Confession, penance ,mass, communion, the rosary, etc. ) and she said " I surround my self with good people, pray and don't worry " . FATIMA & GARABANDAL I feel ,as many do, that Garabandal is the continuation of Fatima. At Garabandal, Saint Michael first appeared to the visionaries in the evening (8:30 P.M.) of June 18, 1961, exactly 40 years to the day (and even the same time of day) from the last vision at Fatima. In the sixth apparition at Fatima on October 13, 1917, during the tableaux of visions during the Miracle of the Sun, Our Lady appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the scapular on her wrist. On July 2, 1961, the Virgin appeared at Garabandal as Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a large brown scapular draped over her right arm. When Our Lady appeared at Fatima in 1917 she did something she had not done before: she addressed messages specifically to the entire world. While she appeared again after Fatima at Beauraing (1932-33) and Banneux (1933), she did not speak to the world at either of those places. But at Garabandal we again find this universal appeal. Although Fatima and Garabandal are separate events there is continuity in the revelations and similarities in features of the events not found among the other visits of Our Lady during the Marian Age. It is interesting to note that the 3rd secret was supposed to be released after 1960,and when it was not, Mary appeared at Garabandal in 1961. See how the world did not heed Mary's Fatima warnings, so she stated them more profoundly at Garabandal.

I am thankful for the mystic Jack Marie Smith from Wilkes Barre PA who I believe was one of the first people to teach me about Garabandal. God rest his soul. Even one of the men that helped Frank Kelly's ministry use to wear the medal during healing services and was a subscriber to the Magazine. Fr. McDonough who was a prominent healing priest as well held a belief privately in Garabandal. I believe he talked to Mari Loli and Maybe Conchita from what I was told. Conchita’s Locution with Jesus regarding Heaven ( July 20, 1963 ) Conchita─ Will I go to heaven? And He answered me: Jesus ─ You should love much and pray to Our Hearts. C─ When will You give me a Cross? J─ What will I be? [This is another of Conchita’s worries—her destiny. That is,to discern the designs God has for her life. For awhile now, she has been questioning whether she has a religious vocation, and she frequently asks the apparition about it, but—according to her own words—the Virgin has never responded in the affirmative. In the same way, during this locution Our Lord keeps his silence when asked the question “What will I be?” Conchita has always received confirmation of her suffering and of the cross, wherever she is.] He didn’t answer me. He only told me that everywhere that I would be, I would have much to suffer. I said to Him: C─ Am I going to die soon? J─ You have to stay on earth to help the world. [This seems to be a clear announcement of a “concrete” vocation; it is a call to live in the world and not in a convent]. And I said to Him: C─ I am very small. I couldn’t help in anything. J─ With your prayers and sufferings, you will help the world. C─ When does one go to heaven? When one dies? [This question seems rather childish. Conchita’s lack of education makes some of her questions seem simple, as though they don’t correspond to her age. In contrast, the response is profoundly astonishing.] J─ One never dies. (I thought that we didn’t go to heaven until we were resurrected). C- I asked Him if St. Peter was at the gate of heaven to receive us. On December 6, 1962, Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle. 2) On the day of the Miracle, the note that she signed in Santander (stating that the apparitions were not authentic) will disappear. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conchita learned on this day that an almost generalized disaffection for Garabandal, would come only one week before “D Day”, in other words, as early as the day following the announcement that she would make. There will be few people at the village to attend the great Miracle on site. Nevertheless, it will be seen on television, could be filmed ,etc. The Visionary declared on the other hand, that as the future great events draw near “ presumed and false manisfistations of the Blessed Virgin will increase considerably “. She also predicted the same day, “the disappearance on the day of the Miracle , of the note Dr. Pinal had forced her to sign,in Santandar, saying that her apparitions were frauds, and that she was mad “ ! So Glenn for clarity: “there will be few people there onsite to attend the Miracle.” Is that due to disbelief, something specific that will prevent people from going (we know things will be horrible in world leading up to Warning) or both? Thanks
John, I have always held 3 schools of thought on this. 1. Even after the " Warning" some will still disbelieve and not go ( or will not have heard about Garabandal in time ). 2. The area only can hold so many visitors in its hotels, and 8 days may not be enough time for people to seek other accomodations ,like camping out in the mountains. 3. There still may be a " Communist influence" in the area ,from the "pre-warning era" which may hinder people from getting there. Any of these is possible, or all 3 may be .

Understood and agreed. Except number 1 for me. It’s hard to fathom in my opinion that after direct Divine Intervention from God-The Warning-that people still wouldn’t believe-especially during the immediate following days-weeks. That’s plain stupid or defiant/disobemiance of God at that point in my view. But understood & thanks. PS: There is plenty of room in the surrounding mountains to camp out if one has the ability to do so and God allows re that. Thanks again!

Hello Glenn, Thank you so much for your interest in the new film, “Garabandal: Only God Knows”. I am working with Mater Spei as a regional coordinator (Northeast), and was recently given your contact information as someone who would like to help with our efforts to reach as many people as we can. We are expecting to premiere the film in February in a dozen cities throughout the U.S., including New York City. At this time, we are looking for people who are willing to work with us to spread the word in the New York area. We are working now on lots of promotional material, both printed and digital, that will aid in publicity efforts. We need one person who will be willing to use these publicity materials and promote through social media, go to parishes to talk or hand out flyers, hang up posters, etc. We need one person to work with the local press, contacting newspapers, radio stations, television stations, etc. to get the word out. We need one person who can take posters to the movie theater and take pictures on opening night. Finally, we need one person to take the leadership role and be the pilot, working with the co-pilots and communicating with me. In essence, in each city we need one pilot and at least three co-pilots to head up this effort. This is indeed work that the Blessed Mother is calling us to do, spreading her beautiful message to as many as we can through this film. Do you think you would be willing to help her in this effort? We are hoping to line up our pilots and co-pilots in each city by this weekend. As you can see, with a February premiere, time is of the essence. Please let me know if we can count on you to help. THE WARNING AND MIRACLE INTERVIEWS WITH THE SEERS Reprinted with kind permission from GARABANDAL International October-December 2004 Compiled by the staff of GARABANDAL Since the apparitions of Garabandal ended in 1965, visionaries Conchita, Mari-Loli and Jacinta have, from time to time, granted interviews in which they have revealed what they are able to say about the coming worldwide Warning and great Miracle. In each of these interviews, although the same questions are frequently asked about the two events, it often happens that new or supportive information, or a different perspective comes to light. With this in mind, and in an attempt to get the most complete picture on the basis of what is known about the Warning and the Miracle, we have consolidated all the interviews to which we have access, avoiding, of course, unnecessary repetition. What follows is the result of our research with the segments from the various interviews given in chronological order. THE WARNING CONCHITA September 14, 1965 Q. Will the Warning be a visible thing or an interior thing or both? A. The Warning is a thing that comes directly from God and will be visible throughout the entire world, in whatever place anyone might be. Q. Will the Warning reveal personal sins to every person in the world and to persons of all faiths, including atheists? A. Yes, the Warning will be like a revelation of our sins-as como si revelase nuestros pecados, and it will be seen and experienced by believers and non-believers and people of any religion whatsoever. Q. Is it true that the Warning will cause many people to remember the dead? A. The Warning is like a. purification for the Miracle. And it is a sort of a catastrophe. It will make us think of the dead, that is, we would prefer to be dead than to experience the Warning. Q. Will the Warning be recognized by the world as a direct sign from God? A. Certainly — claro, and for this reason I believe it is impossible that the world could be so hardened as not to change. October, 1968 Q. We have heard that some say the Warning may be a natural phenomenon but will be used by God to speak to mankind. Is this true? A. The Warning is something supernatural and will not be explained by science. It will be seen and felt. Q. Conchita,can you explain the statement that during the Warning we will know ourselves and the sins we have committed? A. The Warning will be a correction of the conscience of the world. Q. What about the many people who do not know Christ; how will they understand the Warning? A. For those who do not know Christ (non-Christian) they will believe it is a Warning from God. 1973 Q. What will occur on the day of the Warning? A. The most important thing about that day is that everyone in the whole world will see a sign, a grace, or a punishment within themselves — in other words a Warning. They will find themselves all alone in the world no matter where they are at the time, alone with their conscience right before God . They will then see all their sins and what their sins have caused. Q. Will all feel it at the same time? A. Yes, at the same time. Q. How long will it last, a half hour, an hour? A. I really don't know. I think that five minutes would be an adequate time. Q. How will we feel it? A. We will all feel it differently because it will depend on our conscience. The Warning will be very personal; therefore, we will all react differently to it. The most important thing will be to recognize our own sins and the bad consequences of them. You will have a different view of the Warning than me because your sins are different from mine. Q. Will something happen to me because of my sins? I mean will physical harm come upon me as a result of them? A. No, unless it's something that results from the shock, for example, a heart attack. Q. So then it will bring no physical harm but will consist of facing God alone with my sins. How about the good things; will I see them also? A. No. This will be only a Warning to see what you have done with your sins. It will be like a purification before the Miracle to see if with the Warning and Miracle we (meaning the whole world) will be converted. Q. So this Warning can occur any day now? A. Yes, but I don't know the date when it will occur. February, 1977 Q. When did you learn about the Warning and from whom? A. The only thing that I remember well is that it was the Virgin who told me of it. Q. Would you repeat for us what you know about the Warning? A. What I remember now is that the Virgin told me that before the Miracle God will be sending us a Warning so as to purify us or prepare us to see the Miracle and in this way we may draw enough grace to change our lives toward God. She told me what the Warning will consist of but not the date. I am not able to say what it consists of but I am able to say what it will be like, more or less. It is a phenomenon which will be seen and felt in all the world and everywhere; I have always given as an example that of two stars that collide. This phenomenon will not cause physical damage, but it will horrify us because at that very moment we will see our souls and the harm we have done. It will be as though we were in agony but we will not die by its effects but perhaps we will die of fright or shock to see ourselves. May the Virgin forgive me if I do not explain it the way it is, but I am trying to tell you ... after knowing what the Warning will be like that day. Q. Did you 'see' or 'hear 'about the Warning? A. The Virgin told me of its coming. Q. If the Warning only lasts a short time, will the world remember it as coming from God or will it only appear to have been a dream or an illusion? A. I have never said that the Warning will be a short moment. What I have said is that even if it were a moment it will be very impressive and terrible. No one will have doubts of it being from God, and of its not being human. I, who know what it is, am very much afraid of that day. Q. Many years ago you told us the event of the Warning begins with the letter "A. " Since Our Lady never told you not to reveal it, can you now mention it? A. She did not forbid it, but I don't know why I haven't said it and I don't feel as though I should say it now. Q. You once said to Fr. Marcelino Andreu, "When you see the Warning you will know we have opened up the end of time. " Can you explain what you meant by this? A. The Virgin told us that the Warning and Miracle will be the last warnings or public spectaculars that God will give us. This is why I believe that after them we will be near the end of time. Q. Do you have any words of advice for the people in order that they might prepare for this event? A. We must always be prepared for our souls in peace and not tie ourselves down so much to this world. Instead, we must think very often that we are here to go to heaven and to be saints. August, 1980 Q. It (the Warning) is not going to hurt you? A. No. To me, it's like two stars... that crash and make a lot of noise and a lot of light but they don't fall... It's something that's not going to hurt us but we're going to see it. In that moment, we're going to see our conscience. You're going to see everything wrong that you're doing. The Warning "is like two stars ... that crash and make a lot of noise and a lot of light but they don't fall." Q. You 're going to see everything wrong that you are doing? A. Yes. And you're going to see the good that you're not doing.
