“The Devil & Garabandal” -An interview with Fr. Robert Lewis. Fr.Robert Lewis s an exorcist priest who works at St. Jude’s in Pakshikere,India Interesting quotes from Fr. Lewis : “For quite some time, the possessed persons at the Shrine have been making direct references to Garabandal, showing their anger because many souls are snatched from satan’s clutches, because the spreading of the message “. “The name of Mary is so powerful that Lucifer himself begs the exorcist never to mention it ,confessing with shrieks and shouts that is was she who crushed his head “. St. Michael: After the names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, there is none more terrible to demons that St. Michael ! “ We hate him” shouts Lucifer. “ Why did he dislodge me from my place in Heaven and thrust me down to hell ? Just saw this today on Spirit Daily: Marian Film-Maker Dies (in Garabandal) March 8, 2018 It is with great sadness that I inform you that my good friend John Bird died yesterday while on a visit to Garabandal, Spain site of the the Blessed Mother’s appearances & messages to four children from 1961-65. John had not been feeling well recently and passed away peacefully during the early morning hours on March 7. John was accompanied by his cousin Justin Bird to Garabandal and will be buried in Garabandal today. MORE: http://spiritdaily.org/blog/news/marian-film-make-dies
Oh no, truth be told, God is far bigger than anything we can imagine. He will take care of any concerns! Truly, ALL will know
etoa, Very sad but interesting that he chose San Sebastian de Garabandal as his final resting place. May he RIP.
Why the late hour visitations ? When the children were asked why the Virgin came at such late hours, they answered that the Virgin told them that it was at that time most of the sins of the world were committed and that they should do penance... And for them it was a penance, and not the smallest, to stay up until the Virgin came to visit them, late in the night, or very early in the morning. They performed this penance because the Virgin wanted it and also because they wanted to see her again.

GARABANDAL: THE WARNING This short 2 minute video will give you an explanation of what the “ Warning “ is, as revealed to Conchita and Mari Loli, by our Blessed Mother.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but in the messages of Garabandal is the warning miracle and chastisement conditional, meaning that it will happen only if people will not amend their lives? And is it supposed to take place during Conchita’s lifetime?
My understanding is the Warning, Miracle and Permanent Sign are not conditional. The Warning will be experienced by all of humanity, Praise & Glory to God!! I believe at this point, I have heard the Chastisement is no longer conditional, though perhaps the severity might be.....Glenn can certainly further clarify these things. My understanding is also that both will occur within Conchita's lifetime.
Mary said the " Chastisement" IS CONDITIONAL. It may be a widely believed OPINION that it will happen, considering humanity's lack of faith and repentance, after the Miracle.
MARTHE ROBIN (MARCH 13, 1902 - FEBRUARY 6, 1981) & Garabandal At the origin of the Foundation of the Homes of Charity, Marthe was chosen by the Lord to live His Passion "the most completely after My Mother," He revealed to her in 1933 . . . He even added, "no one in the Church will ever have lived IT as completely as you will!" Paralyzed since the age of twenty-seven, and also stigmatized, Marthe Robin would spend some fifty years of her life without sleep or food, nourishing herself uniquely with the Eucharistic Bread. When Fr. Laffineur, O.P. died in November 1970, he had left behind him his plan for the diffusion of the Message of Garabandal in a difficult situation. His close collaborator Fr. Combe decided to ask Marthe, whom he knew well, for her advice. The famous woman mystic welcomed him in the first months of 1971, in her house of La Plaine . . . Here is the account of her meeting as reported by Fr. Combe himself: ". . . Myself: "Dear Sister Marthe, as you know, I care about Garabandal . . ." Marthe: "Yes, Father . . ." Myself: "I was helping Fr. Laffineur . . . He died last November. And all that has followed . . ." Marthe: "Yes, the critics . . ." Myself: "I see that you know. So I come to ask for your advice. To me, the situation appears to be so difficult that from now on I would like to take care of only my parish of Chazay d'Azergues. I have already enough work in this ministry . . ." Marthe: (in a firm and almost cutting voice): "That's it, Father . . . You want to let everything go! . . ." Myself (I received the blow right through the heart and waited for the rest . . .) Marthe: "Aye! What must we do, Father, when we have received graces?" Myself: "I understand, Sister Marthe . . . I must then take up again the spreading of the Message of Garabandal? But, by doing so, I will receive blows from all sides, from the 'critics,' from the priests, the vicar-generals, and even blows from the shepherd's crook of Bishops . . ." Marthe: "Ah well! You will offer them to God. There, father, give me some news of the "children" of Garabandal . . ." This I did. Marthe listened, sometimes asking for details . . . Finally: Marthe: "Tell the four girls that I pray for them every day!" The limited time allotted to me for our interview was drawing to an end. Then Marthe asked me: "Would you like us to say an Our Father and a Hail Mary together?" - "Yes, Marthe. For the girls of Garabandal and their Bishop, for yourself and for the Houses of Charity and also for the blows dealt to us with a stick! . . ." After our prayer, I said: "Marthe, would you accept to have my Guardian Angel invite yours every day to take part in my Mass!" - "Oh! Yes, Father; they will pray together." And our conversation ended as usual with my blessing given with deep emotion. My heart was freed and determined; I came down from Marthe's room to the chapel of the Home of Charity. On my knees before the Lord Jesus, I gave thanks for the light received. Then, turning to the Blessed Virgin, I said to her: "Most Blessed Virgin, I understand very well . . . You want this . . . I will therefore take up again my pilgrim's staff . . . I am ready to walk for you to the end of the world" . . . Later, I saw Marthe Robin again. Every time, we spoke of Garabandal. She was interested in making known the Message; she loved to receive news from me about the four children, about their families and . . . especially about the Bishop of Santander . . . Another of Marthe Robin's testimonies on Garabandal is the one she gave to Msgr. J. Bretault (Founder and first Bishop of the Diocese of Koudougou). One day, I took him to Chateauneuf-de-Galaure, which he liked so much. Before dropping him off, I asked him to remember me to Marthe and to ask her for a little word for me. The little word was a long report he wrote out immediately with tears of joy before the Blessed Sacrament . . . Msgr. J. Bretault had been overwhelmed by all the information Marthe knew about the difficulties in spreading the news about Garabandal in France after the death of Fr. Laffineur. She asked him to transmit a few details and some advice . . . that were very useful and effective for me." [From 'Garabandal' Book, pages 228-229] Another great future Saint involved with Garabandal, Marthe Robin's cause for beatification was introduced in Rome in 1984. Pope Francis declared her “ Venerable “ on Nov. 8,2014.The recognition of a person as “venerable” is one step in the process leading to canonization. View attachment 7534
“ BLESSED “ POPE PAUL VI QUOTES ON GARABANDAL “ Conchita, I bless you and with me the whole church will bless you “. Pope Paul VI had shown a very special interest in the apparitions. At an audience given to Fr. Xavier Escalda, S.J., the latter mentioned there were many opponents of the apparitions even amongst his own people. His Holiness promptly rejoined: "It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world." Father Escalada explained his work in spreading the message of Garabandal in Mexico and the Pope Paul VI encouraged him to continue saying: "These messages must be made known." Father Escalada asked the Pope for his permission to continue promoting Garabandal and the Pope said “YES”. Pope Paul VI said : "It is the most beautiful story of humanity since the days of Christ. It is like a second life of the Virgin on earth. And we can never be grateful enough for it." , "Jacinta, I am with you, but we have to pray much and have much patience . . : it. is necessary to pray that the Church will become aware of the importance of Garabandal." SAINT MADRE MARAVILLAS OF JESUS, O.C.D. (1891-1974) This extraordinary Carmelite nun, who was beatified in 1998, less than 25 years after she died, founded the "Association of St. Teresa," with the purpose of restoring the rule of life of the original Constitutions of 1581, rigorously established by Teresa of Avila one year before her own death. More than one hundred Carmelite Convents belong to this Association of Discalced Carmelites, approved by Rome in 1973. The highest Church authorities all agreed to celebrate in Madre Maravillas the fact that she had, without any hesitation, 'received' the Vatican II ecumenical Council, its teachings but also, on the precise level of "consecrated life," the necessary adaptations to the new circumstances and conditions of our time. Pope John Paul II beatified her on May 19, 1998.John Paul II approved her 2nd miracle on 23 April 2002 and canonized Maravillas on his apostolic visit to Spain in Columbus Plaza in Madrid on May 4 ,2003. Mother Maravillas "knew" that Garabandal was authentic. She even clearly shared her conviction with her spiritual daughters, assuring them that "the phenomena occurring at San Sebastian de Garabandal come from God!" St. Maravillas warned Bishop Puchol Montis on April 25, 1967 (one of the former Bishops of Santander ) that he would have a sudden death, which did happen as a result of an automobile accident on May 8,1967. Bishop Montis sadly opposed the events of Garabandal . Oddly enough, May 8th is the first feast day of St. Michael, the Archangel, who appeared repeatedly at Garabandal ! View attachment 7536
SAINT JOSE MARIE ESCRIVA AND GARABANDAL On October 6, 2002, Pope John Paul II canonized the founder of Opus Dei in St Peter’s Square, Rome, in the presence of more than 300,000 people from all round the world. His feast day is June 26th. The link between St Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer with the Garabandal apparitions is not well known. In the summer of 1962 he spent a few days of holiday in Suances, Cantabria, during which he visited Garabandal, accompanied by several young men , probably members of Opus Dei. He spoke cheerfully and profoundly to the girls, an experience they still recall fondly after all these years. The visit was not unusual since at that time, and up until the Official Note of the Bishop of Santander of 7 October 1962, many priests visited Garabandal. As it happens, news of this visit came out by chance years later when somebody showed the girls a prayer picture for God’s favour through his intercession, printed during his canonization. It was then that the girls joyfully recounted the meeting . He would not have risked his reputation if he did not believe in the apparitions, and tell others about his trip to talk to the girls. This was also confirmed by Mother Nieves.
Pope Benedict XVI & Garabandal Pope Benedict XVI knows all about Garabandal , and been very receptive to learning more about it. Not only has he met and interviewed Conchita, ( When I personally spoke to Conchita about the meeting in the Vatican , she told me she only met him when he was Cardinal Ratzinger, not as Pope Benedict.) He has all the latest investigation papers, eyewitness testimonies of the miracles, etc. performed through the intercession of Our Lady of Garabandal, sent to him by the well known promoter the late Fr. Francis Benac, S.J. He has also read the Garabandal book “ O Children Listen to Me “ Cardinal Ratzinger became the Prefect (head) of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, on November 25, 1981,the Vatican department in charge of protecting the sacred deposit of the faith handed on from the apostles. Considering how close he was with Pope John Paul II, who was a vocal supporter of Garabandal, him meeting Conchita, reading up on the subject, it’s no surprise to me, that he is a believer too. The reason I say this is I have it on good authority that he has conveyed his belief to a Vatican priest ,who is also a Canon Lawyer (who wishes to remain nameless ). According to journalist John L. Allen Jr.'s 2005 biography entitled: 'Pope Benedict XVI: A Biography of Joseph Ratzinger' (pages 118-119 ) his interest in Garabandal began long before becoming Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. It actually began when he was a professor of theology at the Gustav Siewerth Haus Academy, located in Germany's Black Forest. Every summer he gave a course in dogmatic exegesis at the private academy from 1970 thru 1979. It is said that he knew of and took the Garabandal apparitions seriously even then. Author John Allen, Jr. confirmed this from several of Joseph Ratzinger's former graduate students. Monsignor Juan Antonio del Val, in addition to giving permission for the movie made by BBC, made a personal investigation for several years about the Apparitions of Garabandal and is one of the witnesses on the video, “Garabandal, the Eyewitnesses,” produced by Michael Tubberty and published in more that thirty languages by Monsignor Roman Danylak, titular Bishop of Nyssa, Rome, Italy. (January 24, 2000). Monsignor del Val testifies that the findings of the investigation of the Apparitions of the Most Holy Virgin Mary in Garabandal were sent to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith; more specifically, to Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. ( This led to Pope Benedict XVI interest and belief in Garabandal).
