Pope John Paul II & Garabandal During a special general audience with the Pope at the Vatican ... "special" because it was held on Saturday, rather than the usual Wednesday... Father Robert introduced Garabandal Visionary Mari-Loli and family to him. Father Robert who was holding 7 year old Maria Dolores, one of the three Lafleur children, said to the Pope: "Your Holiness, a special blessing for your littlest children who come on behalf of The Blessed Virgin from Garabandal." CONCHITA'S VISIT TO PADRE PIO In January 1966, Conchita arrived in Rome with her mother, a Spanish priest, Fr. Luis Luna, Professor Enrico Medi and Princess Cecilia from Bourbon and Parma. She had been called by Cardinal Ottaviani, prefect of the Holy Office, today known as the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. It was during this visit that Conchita had a private audience with Pope Paul VI, during which only five others were present. We have the reliable witness of Professor Medi, who at the time was president of the European Association of Atomic Energy and friend of the Holy Father; he was one of the five present. As Conchita had to wait a day before her interview with Cardinal Ottaviani, Professor Medi suggested that they go to San Giovanni Rotondo to see Padre Pio. Conchita herself tells about her visit, taken from her interview in NEEDLES magazine: On February 9, 1975 the magazine known as “NEEDLES” had recorded an interview with Conchita . Published in the Spring issue 1975 “We all agreed to go so we headed towards the monastery in Professor Medi’s rental car. We arrived about 9 o’clock at night and we were told that we wouldn’t be able to see Padre Pio until the next morning, after he celebrated the 5 a.m. Mass. Fr. Luna and the Professor went to the sacristy before Mass began. The Professor told me later on what had happened. He said that Fr. Luna told Padre Pio that the Princess of Spain was there to see him, Padre Pio replied, "I don’t feel very well and won’t be able to see her until later in the day." Then Professor Medi said to him, "There is someone else here to see you as well. Conchita wants to speak with you." Padre Pio replied, "Conchita of Garabandal? Come back at eight o'clock this morning." When we arrived we were brought into a small room, a cell, which had a bed, a chair, and a small table. I asked Padre Pio if this was his room and if he slept here, to which he replied, 'Oh no, you cannot see my room. This is a rich room.' At the time I did not realize what a holy man Padre Pio was, as I know him to be now. I was very young; I was only 16."
THIS WEEK IN GARABANDAL HISTORY JANUARY 12 - 20, 1966: CONCHITA'S FIRST TRIP TO ITALY: ROME, THE VATICAN (S.C.D. FAITH AND POPE PAUL VI) AND A MEETING WITH BLESSED PADRE PIO. On the order of Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani, then Pro-Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who had been informed about the Garabandal "events" by the father of the princess of Bourbon Parme as early as the summer of 1965, Conchita at last goes to Rome. On this trip with her there were Fr. Luna, Cecile of Bourbon Parme, Aniceta and Professor Medi (University of Rome), former ambassador of Spain to the Vatican. Cardinal Ottaviana listened to Conchita for more than two hours. Although we still have partial information about their conversation, we know, nonetheless, that Conchita told him the date of the Miracle as well as the nature of the very important Church event that will occur on the same day, while also answering 'presumed' difficulties reported to the Pro-Prefect . . . Several other important members of the Roman Curia also welcomed the visionary. She would later meet the Pope's confessor and told him also the date of the future "D" day. (The day of the Miracle) .But, more important, Conchita was to be introduced to Paul VI, in a very private audience attended by only five persons, which took place providentially on . . . January 18th! Undoubtedly, on this very first day of the "Week of prayer for the Unity of all Christians," the visionary told the Holy Father what she knew about the future 'reunification of all Christian Churches,' about 'the Council, ' etc . . . The Sovereign Pontiff will eventually bless the visionary twice in these terms: "Conchita, I bless you and with me the whole Church blesses you." From the book 'Garabandal', by J. JANUARY 13, 1963 Mari-Loli's last ecstasy (two months later she, as well as Conchita, will enter into the phase of her locutions). For some time already (Fall 1962), the visionary had known the very year of the future Warning, and also that "the Aviso will come less than a year before the great Miracle," furthermore that "both of these future great events might occur the very same year . . ." SPIRITUAL CURRENCY While visiting Conchita on January 13,2021, we talked about a great many things, and in the course of talking about prayers she said something interesting that I have never heard of, or thought about. Each time we say the “ Hail Mary” we end the prayer by saying : “ Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.” She said when we say that prayer slowly, we are asking Mary repeatedly to pray for us at the hour of our death, and it is like putting a coin in our “Spiritual bank”, which accumulates for that hour ! Wow! It never ceases to amaze me how she sees things through only “spiritual eyes”. Thank God we have such a wonderful example of humility and spiritual guidance.
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: JANUARY 14, 1963 : CONCHITA LEARNS THE DATE OF THE “GREAT EVENTS OF “D” DAY. ( THE MIRACLE DATE ) The Archangel St. Michael finally gave the exact date of the future “D” day (Miracle date) to Conchita alone. She would eventually say to Maria Herrero de Gallardo of Santandar. As most of you know, Conchita was asked to come to the Vatican to testify about the apparitions in 1966 with Cardinal Ottaviani . Most don't know that so was Jacinta in 1975. “It was recently learned that in December of 1975 Garabandal Visionary Jacinta Gonzalez (now Monahan) visited Rome to commemorate the Holy year and while there, was summoned for questioning by Vatican officials in regard to the Spanish apparitions which lasted from 1961 through 1965. Details of the meeting, other than the fact that Jacinta’s integrity left a very favorable impression, are confidential at this time. One thing however, was clearly demonstrated, the investigative authority of the church is still actively interested in the events of Garabandal.” “Needles” magazine, Summer issue 1976, page 23 Jacinta herself was to be introduced to Cardinal Ottaviani, in 1975, for we know the astonishing exhortation he then addressed to her: "We must pray a great deal, Jacinta, so that the Church may acknowledge Garabandal," after having told her that 'he believed in the supernatural character of Garabandal' ! An interview with Anaceita Gonzalez, Conchita’s Mother “ “Needles” magazine, January- March Issue 1977, page 16- 20 Question: What kind of personality did Conchita have before the apparitions? Answer: She was the best little girl I have ever known most obedient. At 5 she started school and her teacher would say that she was very good and an intelligent little girl, who would take criticism and never pout or frown. This is the way she was with me to. Question: was she a very religious child? Answer: Well she was, because she had the example at home I would always go to the rosary like everyone else. When all the girls would leave, Conchita would stay behind with me for the way of the cross and the *Trisagion. Then we would be go to the chapel with all the ladies to pray the Sorrows of Our Lady. all the while Conchita would be holding my arm even though I wouldn't ask her to, she would just come along. * An old Spanish devotion to the Holy Trinity prayed in groups.
I had the unexpected great honor of meeting His Holiness (and future Saint ) Pope John Paul II on this day January 17, 1996 at the Vatican. Several Garabandal visionaries have met him,and he was a believer and supporter,awaiting the Miracle.
IMPORTANT DATES INVOLVING ST. MICHAEL THE ARCANGEL June 18,1961 -1st appearance of St. Michael at Garabandal. July 2, 1961 - St. Michael appears with the Blessed Mother (her 1st ) Oct. 18, 1961 - 1st Message given by St. Michael (from Mary ) June 22, 1962 - St. Michael tells Conchita that there will be a future miracle of a “ Visible Host”, and she will announced in advance. July 18, 1962 - at about 1 am, the host appears on Conchita’s tongue out of thin air, and is caught on film, as St. Michael promised June 18 1965 - St. Michael appears at the same spot he did 4 years ago and delivers Mary’s 2nd message. PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. JACINTA & ( SAINT ) MOTHER TERESA, JANUARY 19,1992 In January 1992, Mother Teresa invited Jacinta to come see her. She was then recovering from a serious illness in her noviciate of Tijuanna (Mexico), only a few hours away from the visionary's home at Pasadena (California, U.S.A.).Jacinta thus made the trip on January 19, 1992, on the eve of the Feast of St. Sebastian. The religious Sister enthusiastically presented her to her community: "Here is Jacinta of Garabandal. Garabandal is authentic!" Then, before everybody, she expressed her keen interest for the works and research done on the "events," even inquiring about the new Bishop, Msgr. Vilaplana. Mother Teresa then asked the visionary to pray for her Institute for, she said, "You have only one house, I have dozens of them to take care of." The famous Foundress, who had already met Jacinta in New York, recalled with her many of the graces received by the visionary, notably the one of seeing the Sacred Heart, for Whom Mother Teresa had a great devotion. Her death, which occurred on September 5, 1997, just a few weeks after having met for the last time, in New York, with Conchita, was to arouse an immense chorus of praise and true admiration. Glenn, There is a lot of speculation about the Warning occurring about the time of Carlo Acutis' canonization in late April. If true, I presume that would mean the Miracle would occur next April, 2026. But 2026 isn't a probable year, right?
It is a "possible" year for the Miracle ,it has 2 possible dates April 9 &16, 2026 , the Warning happens in an "even year", and the same year as the Miracle. Carlo has nothing to do with the prophecy, he is NOT a martyr, people keep bringing up his name, they are sadly mistaken.

If something is God’s work, he will see that it triumphs in the best way, over all obstacles. It is God who does everything. Sometimes he acts through us, but he can also bypass us to perform great miracles and prodigies. What we should do is sacrifice ourselves, be faithful in prayer and in the recitation of the holy rosary, and visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Each day, withdraw from yourself and the world so that you may be alone with God. He wants to speak to you and tell you the path you should follow and what you should do.
