March 24-25 ,1962. Feast of the Annunciation. Jacinta's father, Simon, recalls: “The three girls, Conchita, Loli and my daughter, up until then had only "prayed" the rosary. That day, however, they began to sing it and they sang the whole rosary. At the beginning of the apparition, there were only a few of us there, but by the end I think the whole village was there. I felt an immense joy. I knew well how shy my daughter is and I thought to myself, ‘she must be seeing something great to sing like she's singing.’ My joy that day could only have been greater if I were to have seen the Blessed Virgin myself.”

Feast of the Annunciation The Sight Touched Even the Hardest of Hearts (Conchita’s Aunt) Maximina wrote in a letter: “The best thing happened on Sunday, feast of the Annunciation. The apparition began at 9:30 pm and finished at 12 midnight. I can hardly explain what happened. They began to sing the rosary. Then they said that Our Lady asked for everyone to sing. Well, we sang with all our hearts! You can’t imagine! We sang all the way to the cemetery. There, on their knees, they prayed one mystery. Conchita, next to the closed gate, reached through the bars with the crucifix in hand; it looking like she was giving it to be kissed. The sight touched even the hardest of hearts. Afterwards we went back to the village, singing all the way. We sang the "Salve" and "Cantemos al amor de los amores" (traditional Spanish Eucharistic hymn), and then other songs that the girls made up while still in ecstasy. The girls exclaimed, “The Blessed Virgin is very happy because there are a lot of people! She smiles and looks at all of us!" .

March 27, 2016 Mother Angelica dies at 92. Mother Angelica (Rita Antoinette Rizzo) who started EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) passed away on this day. She was instrumental in helping making the messages of Garabandal better known in America after she had Joey Lomangino on her “ LIVE” tv program several times, and promoted the video to the point where it had to be made in 26 languages! I had the great honor to meet and spend time with her several times while at EWTN, and when she visited Joey in New York. She promised to cover the great “Miracle” with a live tv crew, so the world could view the Miracle event. I intend to remind EWTN of Mother’s promise when the time comes.
DINNER WITH MOTHER ANGELICA - August 4, 1995 In 1995, I targeted Mother Angelica's EWTN live show to interview Joey & Marilynn. I called and wrote the President Bill Steltemier for 6 months straight relentlessly ! He finally caved in, probably figured it was easier to put Joey on one time and get rid on me for good, lol. Well, that show was the highest rated show they ever had ,and Joey & Mother Angelica had such good chemistry, we were asked back again, and again. That show caused the video to explode in the USA. Joey, Marilynn, and myself flew down to Alabama to Mother Angeilca’s EWTN . We are warmly greeted and shown around the tv station, and shown a house where we will be put up for the night. We were graciously invited to dinner at Mother Angelica’s house, before the show. When we arrived, there was Mother obviously, President Bill Steltemier, and a few top people at EWTN. You could tell instantly Joey & Mother Angelica “hit it off” and there was easy conversation and joking. As we all sat down to eat dinner, Mother asks Joey if he’d like to say grace. Joey gladly accepts saying “ yes Mother ! “. Joey then does one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. He opens by saying, “ Mother, I’d like to start with a 15 decade rosary ! “ There is dead silence ! Some jaws drop, and everyone is afraid to say or do anything. After a lengthy pause ( which as you can imagine felt like an eternity ) Joey says, “ Nah, I’m only kidding ! “ A loud burst of nervous laughter erupts at the table , and a collective sigh of relief from everyone, lol. It just goes to show you that you can maintain a spiritual life, without sacrificing the joys and laughter of life. After the show, Joey invited Mother Angelica to stay at his home anytime she was in New York, which she did. She has promised to air the great Miracle on EWTN for the world to see. They remained great friends when they were alive..
