Mari-Loli's 3-day journal written on April 19-20-21, 1967. 3rd Day - Horror of Sin! - April 21, 1967 Lord do not permit me to lose the enormous grace you have given me due to an act of sin. May your grace increase in me each day more and more and may it never be taken away from my soul. It is so grand Lord, to think that you have a place for me in Heaven. Oh Lord! Help me to acquire it. I know that with my efforts alone I would be unable to do it, but with Your great love which You have for me You aide me so that one day I shall be able to sit in Your celestial glory. Resolutions At home do not get upset when nobody helps me with my homework, when I think it is not done properly. On the street, show myself agreeable with those who do me harm. This means humble myself so as not to belittle them. When I pray with God our Lord, the principal thing which is the fountain of all the other good acts must not be done routinely particularly when receiving Holy Communion during Holy Mass. What is not commonly known is that Loli not only had several locutions with Our Blessed Mother but many with Jesus Himself during the time that the Garabandal apparitions were going on. WALKING BACKWARDS FROM TABERNACLE In her second Message of Garabandal dated June 18, 1965, the Blessed Virgin warned us of what was coming when she said "less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist." During the events, once the ambulatory ecstasies began, the Virgin always led the seers to the village church where they would kneel and pray before the tabernacle. When they were asked why they went to the church so often, they replied that Our Lady said she liked being near her Son. On those occasions, the visionaries, in ecstasy led by the Virgin, would leave the church walking backwards. Mary smiling and laughing On December 13, 1961, Conchita wrote in a letter to the pastor of Barro, Father José Ramón García de la Riva: The day of the Immaculate Conception (Dec.8 ), the Virgin came to wish me good name day. ( happy feast day ) She had already said that she would come and when she came she was smiling and laughing a lot. The first thing she said was: "Happy name day”. [José Ramón García de la Riva, Mémoires d'un curé de campagne espagnol, Chrétien Paviol, Lyon, 1972, p. 145] One unique characteristic of Mary appearing at Garabandal is the countless times she is recorded smiling and laughing !

Those who would be in Garabandal on that day of the Miracle who are sick will be cured no matter what their disease or religion. CONCHITA 1973 Q. What is going to happen on that day (of the Miracle)? A.I will tell you all that I can just as the Virgin told it to me. She told me that God was going to perform a great Miracle and that there would be no doubt about the fact that it was a miracle. It will come directly from God with no human intervention. A day will come — and she told me the day, the month and the year so I know the exact date. Q. When is that day? A. It is coming soon but I can't reveal it until eight days before the date. Q.What exactly is going to happen on that day? A. I am not permitted to say exactly what is going to happen. What I can reveal is that the Virgin said that everyone who would be there (in Garabandal) on that day would see it. The sick who are there will be cured no matter what their disease or religion. what should we imagine when conchita says: "It is coming soon..." it's been 50 years now... how should we interpret this?
Look how quickly those years have passed, and is everyone ready ? or even listening to Mary's messages ? 50 years to God is a drop in a bucket. Maybe she's trying to get us ready , because she knows people are not paying attention, or lazy, or don't care. Remember what Padre Pio said: They will believe when its too late".
THE MORNING OFFERING PRAYER “By reciting the beautiful Morning Offering daily, we can fulfill our Lady's request in her Garabandal message that we “make many sacrifices and do much penance”. "The more faithful we are to our state in life, the more meritorious our day is before God and our Lady will take all of these merits and offer them to the Eternal Father in reparation for sins. My brothers and sisters, I often think of how many graces are being lost every day in hospitals and homes for the Aged that are literally factories of conversion because they are unaware of the value of the Morning Offering. How many mothers, fathers and young adults who are good people, do not say their Morning Offering and how many graces are slipping by them through the day? Everyone should know that through the Morning Offering we give the Graces we receive to Jesus, through Mary and thus we obtain the conversion of Sinners, free souls from Purgatory and strengthen our church." When I was a child I was taught the Morning Offering prayer which we said every day. I still say the same prayer: Morning Offering Oh Jesus, through the most pure heart of Mary, I offer thee all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day, for all the intentions of Thy Divine Heart and particularly for the intentions of our Holy Father, The Pope” Sadly most Catholics are unaware of the monthly universal prayer intentions of the Pope. APRIL 27: HAPPY 74TH BIRTHDAY TO JACINTA GONZALEZ MOYNIHAN ! JACINTA & ( SAINT ) MOTHER TERESA, JANUARY 19,1992 In January 1992, Mother Teresa invited Jacinta to come see her. She was then recovering from a serious illness in her noviciate of Tijuanna (Mexico), only a few hours away from the visionary's home at Pasadena (California, U.S.A.).Jacinta thus made the trip on January 19, 1992, on the eve of the Feast of St. Sebastian. The religious Sister enthusiastically presented her to her community: "Here is Jacinta of Garabandal. Garabandal is authentic!" Then, before everybody, she expressed her keen interest for the works and research done on the "events," even inquiring about the new Bishop, Msgr. Vilaplana. Mother Teresa then asked the visionary to pray for her Institute for, she said, "You have only one house, I have dozens of them to take care of." The famous Foundress, who had already met Jacinta in New York, recalled with her many of the graces received by the visionary, notably the one of seeing the Sacred Heart, for Whom Mother Teresa had a great devotion. Her death, which occurred on September 5, 1997, just a few weeks after having met for the last time, in New York, with Conchita, was to arouse an immense chorus of praise and true admiration. SPIRITUAL CURRENCY While visiting Conchita on January 13,2021, we talked about a great many things, and in the course of talking about prayers she said something interesting that I have never heard of, or thought about. Each time we say the “ Hail Mary” we end the prayer by saying : “ Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.” She said when we say that prayer slowly, we are asking Mary repeatedly to pray for us at the hour of our death, and it is like putting a coin in our “Spiritual bank”, which accumulates for that hour ! Wow! It never ceases to amaze me how she sees things through only “spiritual eyes”. Thank God we have such a wonderful example of humility and spiritual guidance.
Conchita’s 1970 letter to French Youths at Garabandal The translation of the letter which Conchita wrote to French youths for “The call of the Pines” at the end of their camp at Garabandal, August 25th 1970 August 24, 1970 My dear young French people, the Virgin wants you to help her in converting the world, and to evade the anger of God upon us sinners. She relies upon you, so that by your example and your sacrifice you will serve as an example to other young people, who have not had the Graces you have had in understanding her messages. She asks you to have a great spirit of repentance, sacrifice and prayer. Without these weapons we could do nothing. We have not much time but it is sufficient to escape the great Chastisement and to satisfy the Sacred Heart of our mother. It is in the Blessed Sacrament that you will find enough strength to begin the life which the Virgin constantly demands of you. Visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Empty your heart of the worldly things that prevent you from listening to God. if you do this you will begin to lead a happy life because the happiness that you have never felt you will find only in giving yourself to God and our lady. Pray for one another, for yourselves, pray to our Lady, pray to her with faith and confidence. she will give you all that is good for you. And now, I beg you to pray to God and our lady for my friends and for me in order that we may be humble, that we may have the spirit of sacrifice, and that all of us may ever think more and more about the passion of Jesus,, so that we shall forget ourselves. SAINT JOSE MARIA ESCRIVA EXPERIENCES THE WARNING Saint Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer, testified to have experienced the grace described by Conchita in the “warning”. On the 27th of April 1954, the Founder of Opus Dei finds himself on the brink of death: he suffers anaphylactic shock. Reactions like this are almost unavoidably fatal. Blessed Alvaro del Portillo, who was with the Saint during that entire day, gives him absolution in articulo mortis. A moment later the founder of Opus Dei was dead. Fr Alvaro testifies to this. But hours later St. Josemaria recovers and says : “Alvaro my son, I now know how it will be when I’m dead”. Effectively on that day the Lord permitted St. Josemaria to see his whole life, with great rapidity, as if it were a movie. For St. Josemaria this was in anticipation of God’s judgment, like the description of the “Warning” of Garabandal. Mysteriously, after this episode, Escriva was found to be totally cured of Diabetes, never suffering any relapse or experiencing the need for insulin. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MAY 1, 2013 Bishop Vincente Jimenez Zamora celebrated Mass again ( he had once before on May 6 ,2012) in the village church of San Sebastian de Garabandal and prior to the Mass, he KISSED A CRUCIFIX belonging to villager David Toribio, that WAS KISSED BY THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY AT GARABANDAL. Bishop Zamora's Masses in Garabandal were firsts, since no Bishop of Santandar had ever said Mass in the village church from the time of the apparitions. And the public kissing of the Mary’s “kissed Crucifix”, was surely a sign of his belief in the apparitions, and it’s validity. SOMETIMES ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
SAINT JOSE MARIA ESCRIVA AND GARABANDAL The link between St Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer with the Garabandal apparitions is not well known. In the summer of 1962 he spent a few days on holiday in Suances, Cantabria, during which he visited Garabandal, accompanied by several young men , probably members of Opus Dei. He spoke cheerfully and profoundly to the girls, an experience they still recall fondly after all these years. The visit was not unusual since at that time, and up until the Official Note of the Bishop of Santander of 7 October 1962, many priests visited Garabandal. As it happens, news of this visit came out by chance years later when somebody showed the girls a prayer picture for God’s favour through his intercession, printed during his canonization. It was then that the girls joyfully recounted the meeting. He would not have risked his reputation if he did not believe in the apparitions, and tell others about his trips to talk to the girls. This was also confirmed by Mother Nieves. Mother Maria de las Nieves García affirms that one of the seers (Mari Cruz) confirms the presence of the founder of Opus Dei in the town during the apparitions. Mari Cruz personally told Pueblo de María that the saint remembers him perfectly with his cassock, that he was very smiling, that he would go up with young students and that he would take out candies from the pocket of his cassock to distribute to the children present. Ecstatic walk at incredible speed One of the reports written by Senorita Ascension de Luis, dated March 18th, 1962, reads as follows: "Loli left Jacinta's house still in ecstasy and walked all around the village saying the rosary. Her gait seemed quite normal, and yet those of us who were following her had to run to keep up. In this fashion, she proceeded to the sunken lane, where the stony ground proves difficult to negotiate. The child went up the lane and descended again backwards at an incredible speed." “The apparitions of GARABANDAL” By F.
