March 27, 2016 Mother Angelica dies at 92. Mother Angelica (Rita Antoinette Rizzo) who started EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) passed away on this day. She was instrumental in helping making the messages of Garabandal better known in America after she had Joey Lomangino on her “ LIVE” tv program several times, and promoted the video to the point where it had to be made in 26 languages! I had the great honor to meet and spend time with her several times while at EWTN, and when she visited Joey in New York. She promised to cover the great “Miracle” with a live tv crew, so the world could view the Miracle event. I intend to remind EWTN of Mother’s promise when the time comes. The “WARNING” itself will not cause people to die. Many people have written to me on this topic. I want people who are panicking to realize two things. First, you know the Warning is coming ! So it won’t be an unexpected shock.( like it will be to great number of people). Secondly, those who will suffer the greatest pain (and possibly death) are those who are maybe Atheist, or those who have spent their lives railing against God, and denying him at every opportunity, they are the ones who are in the greatest danger. APRIL 2, 2005 SAINT POPE JOHN PAUL II PASSED AWAY Interestingly enough, Saint Pope John Paul II, a great believer in the apparitions of San Sebastian of Garabandal, is entombed under the alter of the Chapel of St Sebastian, at St. Peter's Basilica. The chapel contains the altar of St. Sebastian, an early Christian martyr from the Late Roman Empire. Under the altar are the remains of Pope St John Paul II, which were moved to the chapel in 2011. John Paul was the second longest serving pope, from 16 October 1978 until 2 April 2005. He was beatified 1 May 2011 and canonized 27 April 2014. Conchita: No, I didn't have to, because she told me the Thursday, the day, month and year. IS ONLY IN REFERRENCE TO THE DATE OF THE MIRACLE. My quote is about her looking to see which saints feast day it was. That's the difference. The Virgen told Conchita the exact date of "The Miracle" and Conchita located the date in the calendar set in the kitchen of her house. This is how Conchita found out the name of the Holy Martyr related to the Eucharist. Conchita told Father Luna, "is a saint with a very rare name."
JOEY’S GREATEST BLESSING I was accompanying Joey Lomangino on a flight down to Alabama to appear again on EWTN’s (Eternal Word Television Network) “Mother Angelica LIVE” show in 1996. While on the flight down, we always had wonderful personal conversations. This one day, we were discussing how we originally met, and what a great blessing it was for me, and I asked him “ What was your greatest blessing ? “ Now I expected one of several answers, ( his family, his Apostolate work, Confession with Padre Pio, Padre Pio restoring his sense of smell, meeting and being friends with Conchita, etc. ) His answer shocked me ! He said while he had many blessings , “ Being blind “. I said “ really, how’s that ? “ He went on ” because if I never had been blind, I never would have been saved”. It was his blindness that led to his spiritual sight and salvation . Padre Pio told Joey “I can’t give him sight for his eyes, but I can give him sight for his soul.” Can any of us ( who are sighted now ,as he once was sighted as a boy ) endure that suffering of having lost our eyesight, consider it a "blessing " ? Have you ever discussed with Conchita the dates of the Warning of which you know the year, and the Miracle which she knows? A. I have never talked to Conchita about these dates. Padre Pio blesses crucifix kissed by Mary Needles Interview with Conchita , February 9,1975 “I remember I had the crucifix kissed by our lady and I said to Padre Pio “This is the cross kissed by the Blessed Mother, would you bless it? He then took the crucifix kissed by our lady and placed it in the palm of his left hand over the stigmata. Then he took my hand and placed it in his palm, closing his fingers over my hand with his right hand, he blessed my hand and the cross. MODESTY In her lessons at Garabandal, the Blessed Virgin impressed upon the girls the importance of modesty. She did this in a number of ways by requiring: 1) a proper code of dress; 2) proper comportment; and 3) that they not wear jewelry or cosmetics (inappropriate for young girls) especially when they were going to see her. In She Went in Haste to the Mountain, Father Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera has this to say on the subject: "Yes, their comportment was most proper, although we should bear in mind the customs and styles of dress then prevalent in their sheltered and secluded environment. The girls from Garabandal dressed like other girls of their time and area, and because of this, they sometimes wore short skirts, as was then the style. "The Virgin called their attention to this with a mother's delicateness. In one of their ecstasies the three girls each went to their own homes separately, at the Vision's request, to change the dresses they were wearing for longer ones. Worldwide Communism - Mary Loli - Garabandal Prophecy fulfilled - the churches will be closed (covid) and priests would find it hard to say Mass. There will be persecution of the faithful. The suppression of the Latin Mass by the Pope is a form of persecution from within as well as that the civil authorities are beginning to limit freedoms around abortion clinics and are arresting people for the simple act of private prayer - thought police. Communism will rule the world - it is here - democracy is a fallacy we are actually living at the minute under a form of totalitarian control in the west - the media is paid for, the political class is corrupt, the justice system rigged. Mary on Humility HUMILITY — This was shown by the children in various ways: by their manner of dressing, by their manner of speaking, by the small things that they did for the public that came to see them, by the lowly work that they continued to do in front of everyone, by their docility to suggestions from their parents and priests, etc.. On various occasions the Virgin has indicated that when they would come to see her, they should not wear either bracelets or earrings. The only one who had the habit of wearing earrings was Conchita. But in a trance at the door of the church, she was heard asking, “What did I do bad? Oh, good! “ And returning to normal, she went to her home, took off the earrings and a bracelet and returned to the door of the church, where she went into ecstasy again. I myself have noticed several times that when they felt the third call, they immediately began to take off any ring or bracelet that they had on their hands and which belonged not to them, but to some other person who had given them to the girls to look at and examine. Garabandal and the Holy Shroud NOVEMBER 4,1962 Only after Father Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera had written his comprehensive book on Garabandal, SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN, did it come to light that the Shroud was mentioned at Garabandal. It was during one of Conchita's ecstasies when the Blessed Virgin spoke to the visionary about the Sabana Santa (Spanish for Holy Shroud). Among the spectators at that ecstasy was the Marquesa de Santa Maria, an excellent witness, and it was from her that Prof. Jacques Serre learned what the Virgin said about the Shroud. The Marquesa heard Conchita repeat the words of Our Lady: "It is the divine imprint of my Son."
