Well, maybe you are right about them being best friends. I respond to facts and you provided some. I apologize. It's not that I find nothing but problems with Garabandal. I find evidence of the supernatural and also evidence of false prophesy. I come here to interact, not to hear my own thought. When I find something beautiful (winter in Garabandal), I post it. If I find something (a book, interview) with a legitimate concern, I post it. You sometimes help with the particular concern, like saying Joey maybe chose to suffer instead of seeing again or didn't complete the requested prayers. That's what the scientific theory is: observe, question, hypothesize, experiment."
Not sure what you mean. Another guy posted about Joey and a hotel and in my response I stated "I would never accuse Joey of anything because he seemed like a stand up guy who did a lot a good with his apostolate. There may be other explanations about the hotel." I never said a negative world about Joey.
I’m personally on the fence regarding Garabandal, as are many trad Catholics. At one time I was very skeptical, but given @Glenn ’s convincing witness to its authenticity and his previous and upcoming YouTube appearances, I’ve been convinced to take a second look at it. I’m more open minded about it now. On the other hand, I’ve asked some people about Garabandal who many here would recognize and respect who do not think anything supernatural occurred at Garabandal. But is simply pointing out seeming discrepancies or misunderstandings about Garabandal grounds for dismissal from MOG?
Glenn, I truly think you are confusing my post with a post from SteveD questioning Joey's integrity in a hotel when he attended a conference. I've never made any comment at all negative about Joey. I supported Joey in my response.
There is some other explanation Re your experience with the Hotel, etc. I know first hand how honest Joey and his group-The Workers of Our Lady Of Mt Carmel was. I was in it, knew Joey personally for 30 years, went to Garabandal 3X with him. Never asked for 1 cent other than my own expenses for myself to cover my airfare, ground transportation hotel and food! That was the same for everyone! In 1969 when my Mother Saw Joey on TV my dad said only if it’s not a scam asking for money we will we go to a meeting on Long Island. They went, took me as a young child and saw How honest and sincere Joey and all were. From 1969 on. Joey had his own Business he built. Didn’t need money or be dishonest. So on an earthly/financial note, that proved to my father, mother & me how authentic Garabandal was and is! Then all the rest viscerally through A grace from God has enveloped my life and my heart. Finally, St Padre Pios belief in it clinched it for me. (He wasn’t a saint at that time) I was also blessed on one of the trips to do a reading for mass at St Padre Pios tomb in San Giovanni Rotundo. So you can doubt or not believe, your choice. I have been Blessed, to know about it, be a part of and believe about Garabandal for over 50 years!

I don't know Joey and would not accuse him of anything.
This is not a “pro” or “con” forum regarding ANY locution or Marian apparition not yet definitively approved by the Church. Correct me if I’m wrong @padraig but this forum, like any authentic Catholic apostolate, has the primary goals of 1) helping to save souls and 2) arrive at the Truth. As such, back and forth and questioning of messages that do not yet have Church approval should be encouraged, not discouraged. On the other hand, this is Glenn’s thread and his sub forum, and he finds your avenues of discussion to be questionable. I’d suggest pursuing your avenues of questioning Garabandal be done on other areas of the MOG forum. I’m personally equivocal about Garabandal, but I have the prudence and common sense not to push my own theories about it on Glenn’s thread, in his sub forum, which he moderates. I strongly recommend you do the same from here on out.

Thank you. The forum is titled Garabandal Info and Answers. Ever since I saw Glen on JHWestin, I have been inspired by Garabandal, have formed no permanent conclusions and came here for answers. I have done nothing but ask questions and present info that may challenge belief in the prophesies. I have attacked ideas but am always respectful of every poster, trying to treat others as I would be treated. I do not use angry or inappropriate language. I even made it clear I DO believe in the apparitions. I was attacked for presenting challenges to the specific prophesies and did not know you cannot question the events or that posters are not willing to engage in any "back and forth." Glen has provided helpful answers to some challenges. I don't know why he is so sensitive to discourse that disagrees with his view, even calling me a liar for wondering if the prophesies are valid? Seems uncharitable for a Catholic forum moderator.
An old saying - the proof of the pudding is in the eating - With the death of Pope Benedict on the last day of 2022 we have entered the end of the times and with the upcoming synod on synods, the re-emergence of Russian nationalism and the potential visit of the Pope to Moscow on the cards (all mentioned in connection with Garabandal) then increasing our prayer life and saying the rosary should be the priority and making many sacrifices. The Church is waiting for the events prophecised at Garabandal (Warning and Miracle) to make a final judgement - The Church has been given the date of the Miracle - since we have not arrived at that date then there will be no judgement. Should the date arrive and no miracle occur then they will declare Garabandal a false apparition. If the miraculous events happen (which I believe) then it will be approved. As for me I have converted because of one simple line in one of the messages 'but first you must live good lives' and this little phrase haunted me since I knew it came from our Lady and I was not living a consistent Christian life but through God's grace I have come to a place of peace and contentment that my life is now in conformity with what our Lady demands. Hence my user name - garabandal.

Every indication that myself and John Henry Westen get from "friends" in Rome is that there is a major push to finally accomplish this trip this Spring. Fingers crossed,lots of hurdles.
So the tribulation will be short then if the visit to Moscow is this year; the miracle would be on the 13th April 2023

The Lomangino family had a very successful business and I never heard Joey ask for donations for his lodging 4 Do we have the name of this supposed hotel ?
No. If the trip does take palce as we are hearing that does not automatically mean its this April for 2 reasons. 1. There will be increased hostilities in Europe,and more effects of Communism ,as Mary said (attacks on Churches ) That will take time to unfold. 2. Mari loli said the Warning is in an "Even year", so cant be this year ,and we know they Miracle and warning are in the same year, so that means neither will happen this year.

Yes I agree John; we are not all at the pinnacle of understanding Garabandal, people need to be patient with others, we are all at a different point on the spiritual journey.
