I can only go by the quote which says: Albrecht Weber's book ( The Finger of God ) contains this statement attributed to Conchita: "The pope will go to Russia, to Moscow. Mr. Weber responded: "Conchita said this in a long conversation at her house on November 14,1965."] So according to this ,the hostilities break out AFTER he returns.

While I too believe the Warning and Miracle will be before 2030 (only God and Blessed Mother knows for sure) I can assure you Conchita at 12 years old when was told from the Blessed Mother about “Joeys new eyes on the day of the Miracle,” in no way at anytime thought of his age or how old he would be or he would be too old to be alive if date wasn’t by 2030. None of the girls thought that way. They were simple, unassuming girls. Peace.
AWAITING APPROVAL Some Anti-Garabandal people say this apparition is “not approved”, that is NOT true. There has been no official Vatican ruling yet because in 1966 Conchita was summoned by Pope Paul VI and questioned by his staff for over 2 hours ,before finally meeting the Pope. At the end of that meeting, the Holy Father came to her and announced joyfully in a clear voice, "Conchita, I, the Pope, bless you and with me the whole Church blesses you." Conchita gave the Pope the date of the " Miracle", and he decided that the Church would wait until that date before announcing its final decision. So you could say it is "awaiting approval". Another quote from Pope Paul VI "It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world." A few years ago I found this official document, that approves and bless the publication of the messages of our Lady in Garabandal. It also refers to the fact that Padre Pio believed in the apparition as "a great proof of the veracity of the apparitions".
