LEVITATION OVER A WALKING BRIDGE !
“Memoirs of a Spanish Country Priest” by Father José Ramon Garcia de la Riva

“ I know of many cases of levitation that took place at Garabandal. One case was photographed, and its copy on slides has been spread throughout the entire world. It is interesting to note that the photographer noticed the actual phenomenon only after the film was developed.
Another levitation took place at the very small bridge — now gone — which was in front of the church. On that day, the brook that it crossed was full. The four girls, in ecstasy, were holding arms. The bridge was not wide enough to permit the passage of the four girls abreast, which is what they did nevertheless; one or two of them consequently had to pass outside of the bridge on the water, without, however getting their feet wet.

This incident is also mentioned in the video at the 8:25 minute mark:

    ARE YOUR HANDS EMPTY ?

    The Last Apparition at Garabandal

November 13, 1965, was a day mixed with joy and sadness for Conchita. The Virgin appeared with her Child to the teenager but it was to be for the last time at Garabandal.

As Mary had already indicated this was to be a special apparition for kissing religious objects and Conchita had many with her. After kissing the articles, the Virgin said: 'Through the kiss I have bestowed on these objects, my Son will perform prodigies. Distribute them to others. Talk to me, Conchita, talk to me about my children. I hold them all beneath my mantle. This will be the last time you will see me here but I shall always be with you and with all my children. Conchita, why don't you go and visit my Son in the tabernacle? He waits for you night and day."

Conchita said to the Virgin, "I am so happy when I see both of you. Why don't you take me now to heaven with you?" She replied, "Remember what I told you on your patronal feast day? " When you present yourself before God, your hands must be filled with good deeds done for your brothers and for His glory. At the present time, your hands are empty."

    NOVEMBER 13, 1965
(MARY NOT WET IN RAIN DURING AN APPARRITION)

"You know Conchita, why I didn't come on June 18 to give you the Message for the world ? It is because it grieved me to tell it to you myself. But I must tell it to you, for your own good and, if you accomplish it, for the glory of God. I love you very much, I desire that you be saved and to gather you all here in Heaven, around the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We can count on you , Conchita, can't we" ?
And I told her : "If I could see always see you, yes, but otherwise, I don't know. I am very wicked". "Do all you can on your part and We will help you."
Conchita: " As I have already said, it was raining heavily, but the Blessed Virgin and the Child Jesus were not at all wet. As for myself, while I was seeing them, I was not aware it was raining, but after the apparition, I was soaked wet."

NOVEMBER 13-14, 1965:The reason Albrecht was at Conchita's house was ,this is the day after the very last apparition of the Blessed Mother (Nov. 13, 1965 ).

    CONCHITA OPENS UP WITH
    GERMAN EDITOR ALBRECHT WEBER
The German publisher was at the village on the very day Conchita had her last apparition of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel. During his stay, he had a series of conversations with Conchita, of which he published certain excerpts in 1993, in his fine book, 'Garabandal, The Finger of God.'
In the presence of Aniceta, Eloisa Deguia (Madrid), and his own sister, the conversations bore, among other major topics, on "the last Popes," on the future "Unity of the Church," on "abortion" as well, about which Conchita, astonished, pointed out to A. Weber that it would cause the Cup of divine Wrath to overflow! The Blessed Virgin had spoken about this unfortunate practice to the visionary, in terms that had left her stunned. Indeed, at the time, Conchita did not understand "how it was possible to kill a child in his (or hers) mother's womb without killing the mother at the same time . . .!"

    THE MORNING OFFERING PRAYER
Our Blessed Mother said in Garabandal on October 18th, 1961,
"We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. "

In 1945 Jesus told Lucia, the seer of Fatima, "The sacrifice and penance I now seek and require is the fulfillment of your state in life and the observance of my laws." Whatever your state in life may be you can sanctify all your daily actions if upon arising you recite sincerely the morning offering prayer. Through the "Morning Offering of Reparation" every act you do becomes a sacrifice. The word "sacrifice" means to make "holy." Once you have made your morning offering you make "holy" every act you do throughout the day. Whatever trial God permits to pass your way during the day becomes a penance — whether it be work, bad weather, rebellious children, sickness in the family, tight economic conditions or misunderstandings by relatives or friends. All these sacrifices and penances obtain graces the Blessed Virgin needs for the conversion of sinners.
Padre Pio said it best, "If you knew the value of suffering, you wouldn't give it up."

"O Jesus, through the Immaculate heart of Mary, and in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass being offered throughout the world, I offer you all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate heart of Mary, for my sins, and the sins of the whole world."

    MARY'S VOICE IS HEARD !
August 4,1961 OUR BLESSED MOTHER'S VOICE IS HEARD !
Conchita recounts the the story in the book "Our Lady comes to Garabandal" . She said " I was returning from the fields,we met my Godmother Maximina Gonzalez, she was very excited and said this to us "Do you know the voice of the Blessed Virgin has been heard on a tape recorder ?" " What did she say I asked ? " She replied " Loli and Jacinta asked her (The Blessed Virgin) "Speak, Please Speak" and the people heard an answer : " No, I wont speak " . My Godmother told me that people began to cry because they were very moved at having heard the Blessed Virgin's voice.
( I have inquired about the original tape, but since the tape remained with no sound after this incident, it seems to be lost now)
You can download this story from the book ,"SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN" CHAPTER 7 on page 156.

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI & Garabandal

Pope Benedict XVI knows all about Garabandal , and been very receptive to learning more about it. Not only has he met and interviewed Conchita, ( When I personally spoke to Conchita about the meeting in the Vatican 1968 , she told me she only met him when he was Cardinal Ratzinger, not as Pope Benedict.)

He has all the latest investigation papers, eyewitness testimonies of the miracles, etc. performed through the intercession of Our Lady of Garabandal, sent to him by the well known promoter the late Fr. Francis Benac, S.J. He has also read the Garabandal book

    “ O Children Listen to Me “

Cardinal Ratzinger became the Prefect (head) of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, on November 25, 1981,the Vatican department in charge of protecting the sacred deposit of the faith handed on from the apostles. Considering how close he was with Pope John Paul II, who was a vocal supporter of Garabandal, him meeting Conchita, reading up on the subject, it’s no surprise to me, that he is a believer too. The reason I say this is I have it on good authority that he has conveyed his belief to a Vatican priest ,who is also a Canon Lawyer (who wishes to remain nameless ).

According to journalist John L. Allen Jr.'s 2005 biography entitled: 'Pope Benedict XVI: A Biography of Joseph Ratzinger' (pages 118-119 ) his interest in Garabandal began long before becoming Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. It actually began when he was a professor of theology at the Gustav Siewerth Haus Academy, located in Germany's Black Forest. Every summer he gave a course in dogmatic exegesis at the private academy from 1970 thru 1979. It is said that he knew of and took the Garabandal apparitions seriously even then. Author John Allen, Jr. confirmed this from several of Joseph Ratzinger's former graduate students.

Monsignor Juan Antonio del Val, in addition to giving permission for the movie made by BBC, made a personal investigation for several years about the Apparitions of Garabandal and is one of the witnesses on the video, “Garabandal, the Eyewitnesses,” produced by Michael Tubberty and published in more that thirty languages by Monsignor Roman Danylak, titular Bishop of Nyssa, Rome, Italy. (January 24, 2000).
1989 Monsignor del Val finally opens the Second Commission (with the support of Rome) testifies that the findings of the investigation of the Apparitions of the Most Holy Virgin Mary in Garabandal were sent to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith; more specifically, to Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. ( This led to Pope Benedict XVI confirming belief in Garabandal).

SAINT (Pope) John Paul II - on Garabandal

There is a book on Garabandal, written by Albrecht Weber in 1993, entitled Garabandal Der Zeigefmger Gottes (Garabandal: The Finger of God), of which a first edition copy was presented to Pope John Paul II. He later asked his secretary, Fr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz, to write to the author after which the Holy Father adds in his own handwriting at the end a personal greeting and his signature.. In the subsequent printing (2000 ,2nd Edition) of the book, on page 19, a portion of the Pope's message is reprinted, as follows:"May God reward you for everything. Especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing."Weber writes, "From the attached greeting in the Pope's own handwriting, with his signature, it is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

On July 23, 1988, during a special general audience with the Pope at the Vatican ... "special" because it was held on Saturday, rather than the usual Wednesday... Father Robert introduced Garabandal Visionary Mari-Loli and family to him. Father Robert who was holding 7 year old Maria Dolores, one of the three Lafleur children, said to the Pope: "Your Holiness, a special blessing for your littlest children who come on behalf of The Blessed Virgin from Garabandal." Our Holy Father exclaimed "Garabandal!"

    NOVEMBER 18 & 28, 1963: CONCHITA'S AND MARI-LOLI'S LOCUTIONS
When the locutions began, each of the two visionaries was unaware that her companion was going through the same spiritual experience.

The Blessed Virgin spoke to the two visionaries about Felipe Sobrado, a priest martyr of the Spanish Civil War, and whose remains were transferred to the church of Pontejoz, on November 18, 1963 precisely. "He will not be canonized, but through his intercession God will perform miracles" said the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel to Conchita.
The locutions always came when Conchita and Loli were praying. The most important ones were given them at the church after they had received Holy Communion.

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY NOVEMBER 18,1962
There was an authentic sound recording of an ecstasy on November 18,1962. It was taken by a key witness of prime importance attending the phenomena of Garabandal: Don Placido Ruiloba. On this tape one can hear a voice, not the voice of Conchita, which suddenly breaks out and clearly pronounces the word …”COUNCIL “ . The only word actually recorded and preserved of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel, speaking at Garabndal.
“Garabandal” book by J. Serre pg 158.
( I do not know if this tape still exists, I have tried to find it, and was not able.)

    Conchita & Humility

For a time, when she was younger, while she was living in Fatima many years ago, she went daily to an older priest’s residence to volunteer as a cleaning lady. As on other occasions, she went there using the name of Maria, in order not to be recognized. However, one day someone recognized her and immediately all the resident priests knew that the woman who swept the floors of their residence was Conchita of Garabandal. From then on, nothing was the same. Conchita told me that when the priests discovered who she was, they changed the way they treated her. She said she was sorry that they had found out who she was because she felt better serving those elderly priests anonymously.

This reminds me very much of Saint Bernadette:
"The Blessed Virgin used me like a broom. What do you do with a broom when you have finished sweeping? You put it back in its place, behind the door!"

    "LIVE THE MESSAGES !"
At age 16 Conchita was already was spiritually wise: "There is no point in our believing in the apparitions if we do not heed the message."
(from “Star on the Mountain”, p. 118 )

“It is useless to believe in the apparitions if we don’t fulfill the message; if we don’t comply with what Holy Mother Church says…fulfilling the message, we might as well not believe in the apparitions”
Conchita’s letter to Fr. Alba of Barcelona on Dec.10, 1965 ( from “Conchita’s Diary” (Spanish Ed. Pg. 42 note 47)
Also from “ Garabandal: Message of Hope” pg 178

“To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin. Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message! “

March 2013 Glenn’s conversation with Conchita
With all of the arguing over which of the different visionary’s is right, predicting dates, the direction of the church, I've learned one thing, it’s all distracting, and detracting from our spiritual goals. The best advice I ever got was from Conchita ( when I asked her about the direction of all these things) ,she talked about what is most important, maintaining your spiritual life, (Confession, penance ,mass, communion, the rosary, the Morning Offering, etc.) and she said :
" I surround myself with good people, pray and don't worry " .
( Sounds like she took the advice of her friend Padre Pio , “ Pray hope and don’t worry”).

Many decades ago when I started promoting the apparitions, while having a conversation with Conchita, she asked me " Do you do the rosary every day? " I said " well, ...not every day, I'm busy, I have several jobs". She said " Don't promote the messages, unless you are going to live the messages". Wow, that kind of knocked me for a loop, but she's right ! It is amazing that when you make the time to do those things, it seems like there is plenty of time to do them. God is funny that way.

When Elvis Presley's daughter was healed thanks to Virgin of Garabandal.
Jacinta González, one of the witnesses of Garabandal, reveals in the latest book by José Maria Zavala, “The Last Times Are Here” (Custodian Books), how the daughter of the king of rock Elvis Presley healed from a serious illness when she was released by the doctors thanks to the Virgin.
González now demonstrates that she kept inside her an unimaginable cauldron of experiences and messages that he brings out now just on the 60th anniversary of the appearances of Garabandal, such as this one: "To the only daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie, the Virgin of Garabandal the cure.
Elvis Presley died suddenly at his Graceland mansion in Memphis. But the investigation concluded that, on the edge of his poor eating and barbaric abuse, Elvis was destined to die young.
DNA tests showed it had problems in chromosome 11, a variant that generates heart problems. Elvis mother also passed away young and suddenly. The disease was genetic.
Elvis Presley's daughter was then very worried at the root of the discovery. And to top it off, a doctor came to say that the disease in chromosome 11 was inherited by the children at a fifty percent.
“The miracle happened when Lisa Marie was seven or eight years old, although it is possible that she has then also turned to the intercession of the Virgin of Garabandal, after learning about her father’s hereditary disease,” Jacinta said. Whatever it is, Lisa Marie is 53 years old today and was born again then.
How did she know of the existence of Our Lady of Garabandal? “Joey Lomangino," Jacinta explains, "had met Elvis Presley in person in New York. And when he learned that his daughter was very sick, in danger of death, he left her his medal kissed by the Virgin in Garabandal and the little girl was cured. Joey always went with his medal to many places in the world and said that, thanks to it, many miracles took place".
The book of Jose Maria Zavala was released this week. It's basically an 8-hour interview with Jacinta done for 5 days (4 days in July 2021 and the last one in September). It was only released in Spanish, but may be available on Amazon . I intend to wait for the English version, as some translations are tricky. 257157211_3049708898623197_8323352238396353459_n.jpg

    Hello Gleen
It's a personal question. Have the seer children or Conchita been vaccinated against COVID? And how do you feel about it?
Doesn't Garabandal say anything about a pandemic?

    CONCHITA’S MESSAGE

    March 19,2020

I asked Conchita if she would be kind enough to offer some words of advice to all of us, in this troubling times. Here are her words. - Glenn Hudson

"God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need." Conchita Gonzalez Keena

    No other comments by others.

I get asked this many times a day privately. Each person has their own medical concerns (and problems) so it's wise to search out as much medical information as possible, about any side effects, of all the vaccines and consult your own Physician. Speaking only for myself, and my health concerns, I have certain moral and medical objections and will not take them. God bless.
