Yes, Rome (Vatican) is the #1 religious symbol to destroy and Israel is the #1 country to destroy by the enemies of God. Both will fall soon.
There are enough checks and balances in the US system to allow the Americans reign in or replace Trump any time they like. And they can vote him out in four years' time. We have Judas on the throne of Peter and the only people with the authority to correct him are the very Cardinals who put him there. They should be down on their knees begging pardon from God and us for their negligence. Instead, they are either backing him up or keeping their heads down hoping that it will all go away. The cowards don't even have the guts to stand behind Cardinal Burke. Pope Francis has proven himself to be deceitful from the beginning, culminating in his outright lie when he claimed not to remember the footnote. For all his talk about mercy, he's a lying, scheming, vindictive manipulator. There, I've said it and it's high time that others stopped beating about the bush and said it too because otherwise we are all complicit in his lies. Any Bishop failing to correct him is merely telling us that either the Church taught error in the past or is teaching error now. The tripe about AL not specifically containing error is just that - tripe. We have been betrayed. Christ has been betrayed. Ireland lost a fifth of its population to famine for a lie. As to Saints Bernadette or Joan of Arc? We have saints like Bernadette praying for the Pope and the Church but they wouldn't get within a ass's gallop of this Pope and even if they did he would run away from them because as he says himself he doesn't like being around Catholics. If anyone doubts that the Church is in deep trouble all they have to do is look at the "Pope Francis Catholics" like the nun on the bus because it's the likes of her that are being touted as the new St. Joan. Our new role models are the death cultist Emma Bonino and Martin Luther, that foul mouthed, drunken heretical German monk. My God help us because it has gone beyond the power of anyone on earth to do so.
He's more like to be run out of Rome by Italians. Why would ISIS launch an attack on him when he's only short of being their official travel agent?
Yes it's quite true, I wouldn't count on too many Cardinals or Bishops to take many risks to chance their well padded asses, we saw that well enough in the child abuse crisis.I am under no illusions there with that crowd. Many of them second Judas's. They well know what side their bread is buttered on. But I think it is in times like this when we are most on our knees that God is most inclined to step in to save us. It was when the Apostles, cowards as they were like their descendants the cowardly Cardinals we have now, fled from the Garden of Eden and went into hiding Jesus went to find them there and led prepared them for Pentecost and the Birth of the Church. Jesus and the Holy Spirit put back bone into the Apostles he can well put some back bone into our Cardinals and Bishops. I believe we are about to witness a new Pentecost. I trust, hope, pray and am at peace. It is Christ's Church, His Bride, He well knows how to take care of her. Ephesians 5:25–27 25 gHusbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and hgave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by ithe washing of water jwith the word, 27 so kthat he might present the church to himself in splendor, lwithout spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.1
You know his admiration for the abortionist Emma bonino and Martin Luther should throw up all kind of red flags for the faithful. What a slap in the face he is constantly giving the us. It's one thing after another. I guess it's because we are so "ridged". His tone towards the faithful is a tone of prideful arrogance whilst professing humility, humility, humility! Not buying a word of it anymore. He will preside over a smaller church....void of faithful CATHOLICS me thinks!
I agree with most of your post but this makes me wonder - can 'faithful Catholics' be part of anything other than the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the only true Church, founded by the Lord himself? Unfortunately, sidling off under an umbrella of Catholic orthodoxy would instantly make us schismatic. Please don't think I am not in sympathy with what you say otherwise. I am as dazed and confused as everyone else by the current Holy Father, but I ain't going anywhere. A friend said "I'm sitting this papacy out" - I am doing the same. I suspect many faithful Catholics are, just getting on with their spiritual lives, going to Mass, and praying that God's will be done in Rome.
I wish that the Pope would listen to this guy (not a Catholic but a brave Christian who has studied the Koran and the Hadiths and is 'telling it like it is'). Francis' words must be shocking to Middle Eastern Christians and the Copts in Egypt. It's appalling that he is so mis-informed about them. When he invited an Imam to the Vatican for inter-religious prayers, the Imam took the opportunity to pray for the victory of Islam (in Arabic of course) to the accompaniment of smiles from the Christians present who had absolutely no idea what he was saying. Naïve or what?
The Catholic Catechism say's the church will undergo itself the passion of Christ. This being said, I think we are at the point now where the "last supper" has ended and the Judas' of the Church are in full bloom. We are at the period where the church is being scattered and confused as the apostles were after Jesus was arrested. Just as the apostles were led by Peter who denied Jesus, we are seeing 'Peter' today in denial of Apostolic teachings of Christ Jesus and the confusion is ramping up daily. Sides are being chosen. It is the truth vs the anti-truth, the gospel vs the anti-gospel and the church vs the anti-church just as Pope John Paul prophecised. So, here we are within the agony of the garden, where we see most around us either clueless or favoring the popularity of 'Peter' who is confused himself and causing confusion. The faithful must enter into the passion just as our Savior did. It will continue to get darker and darker within, but the little cell's of faithful will keep the light of God's unchanging truth alive in small areas around the world. Soon enough we will see the churches scourging and crowning of thorns (the persecution of the remnant) followed by its carrying of the cross and death (martyrdom) of many by the lukewarm and apostate Catholics and Protestants. But, our hope is in the resurrection of the body of Christ, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the Second Coming of Jesus and era of peace our Lady of Fatima foretold.
Oh, I'm not leaving the one true church...maybe the pope is, but I'm not. It will be him that leaves the faith. Now if they change the mass, depending on how he changes it, I might be attending a mass that is not in sync with his mass. If that happens. If females are ordained then is it a proper mass? Just asking....what if it isn't a valid mass? Then what? I don't have answers for this....
I agree, Beth, that we don't have to leave the Catholic Church. We can sit out Pope Francis and may have to sit out his successor. I think that we will have inter-Communion with Lutherans before we get women priests. That begs the question: is the host consecrated by a Lutheran woman (who may or may not be living in a same sex marriage) equal to one consecrated by a Catholic priest; is the Lutheran Eucharist the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus? Inter-Communion would mean that the Catholic Church believes it is. Does a Pope who promotes a notorious abortionist like Bonino have moral authority? Does he retain moral authority when he tells us that the word "adultery" used by Jesus is too harsh? I really don't know the answer but I do know that I'm not obliged to pretend that all is well when it isn't. I'm not obliged to pretend that he wasn't telling a barefaced lie when he said he didn't recall the footnote. For the sake of my own soul, I think that it would be better for me to ignore everything he says because the more I hear about him the more I wonder whether he holds any Catholic beliefs other than the one that gives him power over the Church.
agree completely Dolours.....I don't know what his intentions are or where he intends to go, but if he doesn't define exactly what AL entails and he ignores the four cardinals request, then I think the four cardinals must give us direction. How could they not? Burke is encouraging us to defend our faith....I for one will take direction from him. We have a moral obligation to follow truth...what else can we do?
No, by definition only males can be priests. If someone "ordains" women it would be both invalid and illicit and they could NOT confect the Eucharist. And you could not attend in good conscience, let alone receive.
VI. WHO CAN RECEIVE THIS SACRAMENT? 1577 "Only a baptized man (vir) validly receives sacred ordination."66 The Lord Jesus chose men (viri) to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry.67 The college of bishops, with whom the priests are united in the priesthood, makes the college of the twelve an ever-present and ever-active reality until Christ's return. The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.68 http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p2s2c3a6.htm
No homilies but they are teachers. Like the greatest teacher of all...Our Blessed Mother. She taught the teacher.
