However, as events unfold, we may be given more grace and more insight.
And I do agree with your assessments of the resemblance to the happenings of the present.

Anybody able to confirm here If the message of La Salette mentioned “two worm-ridden popes”?
Or was that in a version that was rejected?

I am wavering, DeGaulle. Even though Skojec’s article was researched, it is still a treatise. Always something more to think about!

    AED,

We live in Dallas and our parish, Mater Dei, is in a suburb called Irving. It’s really amazing and every week after Mass I think of new reasons I’m so grateful to have it. I’ll try to send you a link to the parish website. And y’all come on down and see us this winter... Texas is awesome! ;)

You’re welcome... it would be so fun to meet you! In fact, another forum member, Divine Mercy, saw one of my posts about Mater Dei and asked me about it, since she was moving here from CA and was planning on becoming a parishioner. She and I are good friends now, as are our little girls and hers. :)

Obviously you haven't heard about the orgies in the Vatican. I'm sure that line has been crossed.

You're certainly right. I'm quite punch-drunk at this stage.

In one's death-bed, and in to one's room walks a priestess, what does one do? I'd certainly banish her, if I had the strength. Many are going to die without the comfort of a priest. Absolutely appalling.

I'd be wary of the source, although I don't doubt his sincerity. I'm not comfortable with his attitude to the Second Vatican Council. Certainly Vatican II wasn't perfect, but the history of ecclesiastical councils is replete with controversy. It is not VII that is the problem, but those who have hijacked and misinterpreted it for their own ends, in the process giving the Council an importance it never deserved in the first place. Not unlike 'global warming', it is used as the rationale and justification for every crazy idea.

DeGaulle, I agree too. I should have stated in my other post that I'm not a fan of that source and I don't believe that Brian really is either.

Here is a more reliable source talking about the same topic, more or less.

New cardinal appointed by Pope Francis open to discussing female ‘ordination’
    Maike Hickson | https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/two-of-popes-new-cardinals-open-to-widening-access-to-ordination
October 11, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Cardinal Michael Czerny and Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, both of whom were just made a cardinal by Pope Francis, have given signs that they would be open to debate either the question of female ordination or the married priesthood.

Cardinal Hollerich, a Jesuit from Luxemburg, showed openness toward the idea of ordaining married men to the priesthood. He told journalists at the beginning of October that when there are entire regions in the Amazon which cannot celebrate the Holy Eucharist, then this poses a great problem. “When here the 'viri probati' [morally proven married men] are a solution, why not?” he said, according to the German bishops' news website Katholisch.de.

He also referred to married priests in Catholic Eastern rites and also to married priests who were formerly members of the Anglican Church. He claimed that this question does not touch upon the theology of the priesthood.

Hollerich went on to stress the positive aspects of the experiences of a married man. “I love my celibacy, I adhere to it, but I see that the married deacons can preach in a different manner than I, and I consider this to be in itself a great addition.”

Pope Francis has personally invited Hollerich to participate at the Amazon Synod that is currently taking place in Rome.

Hollerich is the President of COMECE (Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Union), which has been involved in different activities of the organizers of the Amazon Synod, the Red-Amazonian Ecclesial Network (REPAM).

The Jesuit Michael Czerny – who had been just a priest and had to quickly be made a bishop before becoming a cardinal last Saturday – is Canadian and now the fourth Canadian cardinal. He himself, according to a CBC News report, is inspired by Liberation Theology and has worked for many years in Central America. CBC News states: “As founder of the Jesuit Centre for Social Faith and Justice in Toronto in 1979, Czerny was influenced by Liberation Theology, leading a wide network of Canadian church groups and social activists in promoting justice for the poor and marginalized and refugees during the revolutions in Central America.”

Czerny has now shown some openness to discuss the matter of female ordination. CBC News reports his words concerning this question: “When asked whether he supports female ordination, Czerny at first bristled at the question. Later, he said he would not be comfortable articulating the goal now, but is open to 'getting the listening started. [The question] shouldn't be off the table.'”

Pope Francis had chosen Czerny to be a co-secretary of the pre-synodal council that prepared the Amazon Synod. He is also to be involved in the writing of the final report of the Amazon Synod.

Czerny also participated at a June 2019 secret meeting with Cardinals Lorenzo Baldisseri and Walter Kasper, who, together with other experts, prepared the Amazon Synod. This meeting's final report calls for married priests and female deacons.

So far, the discussions at the Amazon Synod indeed show an openness toward the female diaconate and the ordination of married men to the priesthood. Bishop Erwin Kräutler – who is said to have been one of the key authors of the synod's working document – just repeated in interviews what he has written already in 2016, namely, that he is in favor of female priests.

Rampant Marxism. Feminism has always been a corrosive ideology intended to divide the closest human relationship as established by God in Genesis.

The chief victims of feminism have been women. Until the sixties, and later in some parts of the developed world, the ordinary family, and the number of mouths per family were higher then, was generally supported by the wage of the father, allowing the mother to rear the children and run the household and perhaps look after elderly family members. New inventions of labour-saving devices were beginning to take a huge amount of drudgery out of the wives' lot. A new golden age was beckoning for women, about to leave them abundant time and freedom. What did feminism actually achieve? A ruthless alliance of opportunistic big business and Marxist ideologues combined to almost overnight fool women into believing they 'deserved' to 'work', as if their previous much more important work wasn't work at all. This effectively doubled the work-force and inevitably came to halve the real wage. Now both members of a married couple are in most cases mandated to work in order to provide for themselves the same things that a husband on his own used to. The consequences have been extremely detrimental for family life and have generated an obsession with an absurd, false 'equality' that has further engendered division between the sexes and a prideful shoehorning of women into roles ontologically unsuited for them. We have women marines, women firemen and women policemen, endangering both the women themselves and their colleagues and those they are meant to help and protect.

Now, worst of all, we are threatened, in the name of the new idol, 'equality', with women becoming priests, a job that they simply cannot do, in an absolute sense. Our New Gnostic hierarchy have decided to give the ideology of feminism priority over the Truth of the Gospel. They have decided to take it upon themselves that they know better than Jesus Christ Himself. Priestesses were not unknown in Our Lord's time and He displayed an ease with women that seems to have no parallel, among other men, in our history, so there was no obstacle to His appointing them as priests, and there were several obvious candidates-not that any obstacle would have stopped Him if He wished to go down this course. His fearlessness in the face of obstacle led to His crucifixion. The only reason logically preventing Him was, and inevitably remains, that women cannot ontologically become priests, simply because the substitute groom, and that is the role of the priest at Mass and the Sacraments, must, like Christ Himself, be a man. Of course, this more vividly reveals the blasphemous and sacriligious nature of the demonic 'alphabet people' ideologies, which satanically seek to eliminate all these distinctions. In fact, most of them, and their feminist allies, are ignorant useful idiots in the infernally-inspired campaign which has been established for just this purpose. Ultimately, the feminists and the perverts are a blind battering ram to attack the Mass.

Our Lady of Fatima worked for a miracle for us on this day, 102 years again. She can work still greater miracles for us like giving us a holy Pope and Saintly Bishops. Let us believe in God, trust Her, pray fervently especially and Rosary, and work for the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart. God and Mary will take care of all the rest.

My Spanish Teacher , Livio ;lives in Ecuador. His family is Venzualan but they all had to flee Venezuala because of the collapse there, now they live in different countries all over the world.

But because of this I have been paying special attention to Ecuador and there is terrible, terrible trouble there at the moment , revolution and bloodshed. I don;t think it had started when the gentleman made this Video. The President was trying to introduce Austerity measures and the population has gone crazy. He has just announced he is sending in the military to suppress the people.

It will all end in tears. My teacher , Livio, seems very materialistic to me. His girlfriend is Canadian and the are planning to move to Canada. I keep trying to talk to him about God and Spiritual things, but don';t know it I am making a dent.:);) Please say a prayer for him.

Please pray for Ecuador, poor, poor people.

Anyway watching this video and current events/ Revolution there fits so well into Marian Prophesy I thought I should mention it.

    Famine, Sword, and Dispersion

11Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable idols and abominations, I Myself will withdraw My favor; I will not look upon you with pity, nor will I spare you. 12A third of your people will die by plague or be consumed by famine within you, a third will fall by the sword outside your walls, and a third I will scatter to every wind and unleash a sword behind them.…

Nobody injured as fragments fell from ceiling of St Peter's.
Fragments from the ceiling of St Peter's Basilica fell to the ground during a Mass celebrated by Pope Francis on the afternoon of 4 October.

There was nobody injured in the incident, which occurred to the left of the high altar as the pontiff presided over the episcopal ordination of four new bishops.

    Agreed overall.

And look at Sweden. The world's first / only "Feminist Government"...and now Rape Capital of the World.

I personally do not believe women should be ordained for a handful of reasons, a primary one (US politics) being "all (White Straight especially) males are terrible sexist ogres so put us (inclusive! nicer!) in charge (so we can overhaul / change lots of stuff)."

Women of the Roman Catholic Church already have LOTS MORE alternatives and opportunities than their sisters in the Protestant sphere. In Protestantism (excepting Anglican/Episcopal) there are NO Nuns...you hear about the Virgin Mary at Christmas and Easter (minimally, and otherwise She doesn't exist)...no woman has the honorary title of "Mother"...there are no female Saints (or male).
