Yes a joke...just like all the other SPECULATIONS.

Talk to me when something actually happens.

Communion for unmarried, communion with Married homosexuals. Women priest. All nonsense.

My whole life it has been debated...but when it happens, it will be when those priest and bishops leave the Roman Catholic Church. Then you will have the American Catholic Church or the German Catholic church or the Irish Catholic Church or the Brian Catholic Church.

But the Roman Catholic Church will survive...but maybe outlawed. :). More speculation.

I hope you get my point. Its all nonsense until it actually happens.

    Hi Brian,

"Frankly the devil knew what he was doing when he inspired the MDM fraud. He lead many souls astray with its messages. But more importantly it made faithful Catholics completely disregard any voices of concern about this pope, thinking any otherwise valid criticism of this pope is inspired by these false messages."

I see it another way...Satan used MDM to promote hatred for the Pope. That was his agenda. We stopped him by exposing Mary Carberry, but plenty of damage had already been done.

I was going to answer your post above..re the official Vatican transcript of this meeting with the Polish bishops but I'm having problems following it. Lifesite News is not a credible site any longer....so many have had to unsubscribe. Maybe you have another source...if there is one?

I'm travelling today and won't be back till possibly late this evening or it could be tomorrow. If you get the original source I can answer you better.

    God Bless

I know Joe from another site but he didn't know I was going to visit here. But anyway I hope you've realised by now that I am not accusing anyone of being involved with MDM. It's obvious that you're not.. and I know Padraig isn't.

    God Bless

    From the website:

    "My Testimony, by Janet Walton
I was a cautious reader of the messages of Maria Divine Mercy, (MDM) an Irish woman who claims to be receiving messages from heaven. I liked the idea that God was ‘speaking’ to us, warning about events that would take place sometime in the near future, especially since we were being offered protection for ourselves and our families during the purification period. However, the predictions in MDM’s ‘Book Of Truth,’ concerning a worldwide warning chastisement etc, were telling us nothing new.

Many alleged seers warn of these events - but MDM’s writings were different in that they were almost daily messages, and this added to the interest. Still, I knew it all depended on who would be the next pope as to whether Maria was genuine or not, because she had predicted that the next Pope after Pope Benedict would be the false prophet!

I ignored the use of bad grammar in the writings, putting this down to human error, because I really wanted the messages to be true. The promises were beautiful - I wanted to see an end to the sufferings in this world - I wanted to be living in that “era of peace,” Our Lady of Fatima had told us about. But still I remained cautious and prayed constantly asking God to not let me be deceived, because I had begun to notice that the messages seemed to be straying further away from the teachings of the Catholic Church. I now began to have serious doubts about the messages.

Then.. out of the blue Pope Benedict resigned… Was it possible that he was being “ousted” as the messages had warned? I carefully listened to every word of his resignation speech. He was most definitely resigning of his own free will due to ill health, and no doubt the recent scandals had had a part in his decision also. So could we call this a kind of “forcing” out of the Vatican?

I had read some older prophecies from the saints speaking of a time when a “deceiver” would sit on the throne of Peter, but he would not be a validly elected Pope. MDM, on the other hand, had 'predicted' that he would be validly elected by the Cardinals.

“They, My daughter, are being sent to prepare God’s children to accept the next Pope, who comes after My beloved Vicar Pope Benedict. This Pope may be elected by members within the Catholic Church but he will be the False Prophet. His electors are wolves in sheep’s clothing and are members of the secret Masonic and evil group led by Satan. This is how Satan will try to destroy My Church.” (M.D.M., April 12th, 2012)

Then came the election. I waited with bated breath as the white smoke from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel signaled that we now had a new pope. Finally he appeared on the balcony on St. Peter’s Basilica as thousands cheered. Then it dawned on me…this man dressed in white was Cardinal Jorge. He could never be an anti-pope, a deceiver! He spoke out for the poor, and was well known for the austere life he led. This was our new Pope! All those warnings that a “deceiver” would be elected had come from Satan’s vile mouth, in order to divide the faithful. I knew then without a shadow of a doubt that it was MDM who was the deceiver, the false prophet.

I could hardly wait to go into Facebook and see the reactions of the other followers of MDM. How would they feel now that we knew we had been deceived? I was shocked to find that the majority hadn’t come to the same conclusion that I had. It was awful to see them so intent on searching for anything they thought negative to post about the new Pope. I stayed around in the hopes I could persuade them that MDM was just another false prophet. Eventually I couldn't take anymore of the hate filled remarks towards the Pope, so feeling sad and frustrated I left them to it. If they’d rather believe an anonymous woman’s words against the overwhelming evidence that we now had another wonderful Pope then there was nothing I could do to change their minds, except pray for them.

'Maria' says that Jesus has asked her to remain anonymous in order to protect her family and to avoid any distraction from the messages - but does God work this way? Well we do know there have been many child seers whom God has allowed to be in the public eye, most notably the young Fatima seers. Those children had to endure the horror of being thrown into jail and threatened with boiling oil!"

The lady followed MDM messages and saw through them when Pope Francis was elected. So what?

We're tripping over accounts of seers, locutionists, prophets, etc. on this forum and they can't all be right. Will the members who promote or have a cautious interest in them gain some kind of special merit for setting out to disprove the false prophets after it dawns on them that they were being led down a blind alley? Some of the same members treat almost every utterance of Pope Francis as infallible. Does that mean that when they lose faith in the false prophets, we all should suspect their motives for defending the Pope?

I don't know who Jane Walton is. I wish her well and welcome her to the forum. She is wrong when she infers that the Pope is the Church, but that's an error many people make, even Monsignors, as was evidenced by the Monsignor who said on a US radio station that all Catholics are bound to believe that Islam is a religion of peace because the Pope said so.

There's a fine line between respecting the office of the Vicar of Christ, loving and respecting the incumbent as a human being made in God's image and likeness, our obligation to obey lawful authority, and seeing and speaking out against error. Sometimes the line is crossed but that doesn't make any of us either Protestant or Pope Worshippers.

There has been enough warning that there will be apostasy in the Church and that even the "elect" will be deceived. It isn't obsessive to be wary that the seeds of deception are being scattered in our time as they have been at various times throughout Church history. That doesn't mean that the Pope, or even the Bishops whose opinion he values, are false prophets or anti-christs, or out to ruin the Church. They could simply be right about some things and wrong about others. Every Catholic, no matter how far down the pecking order of authority, is obliged to defend the Faith even if that means saying that the Pope is wrong or is facilitating error.

He seems to be giving it a push. I love the fact that this pope is going after the abortionists, climate change believers, the globalists, the homosexual community, the divorce and remarried community. However, I believe it is plain wrong to be embracing their views. And if he is not, where are his statements that attest to this (please not fron 10 years ago or your opinion of what he means).

I would rather read Lifesite news any day than some of the liberal rubbish that pretends to be Catholicism. At least the folks at Lifesite news stand up for the unborn and are a voice for the victims of the great silent holocaust.

It is usually liberals who criticise Lifesite news because of personal apathy towards the unborn.

For me attitude to the unborn is a litmus test of belief.

The incarnation was a real event.

Hello my friends here on the Mother of God forum. I have to say I am quite confused! I just carefully read through the posts in this conversation, and to be very sincere I am quite confused about what seems to me to be unfounded accusatory comments supposedly pertaining to the comments that Janet Walton posted. I think if one was to reread the posts in this thread one would readily see that certain allegations are being attributed to Janet Walton without any justification for doing so.

And to be honest, quite a few of the the comments on this particular conversation are really quite concerning. I guess I would simply like to humbly suggest that all those who have commented on this particular conversation should go back to the first comment and re-read all the comments from start to finish, and I am sure you will see how things have gone off the rails quite a bit.

-Just the .02 cents as an observer reading through this conversation.

May the love and peace of God be with all of you. Union in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

Hi Glenn, and welcome to the forum. I have dipped into your website from time to time. Plenty of reading there.

Perhaps Janet got off to a bad start on this thread by suggesting that the Pope is the Church. There was a bit of an over-reaction. Maybe we all need to take a deep breath and give others the benefit of the doubt. I'm looking forward to future contributions from both you and Janet.

LifeSite is very credible, and far more credible than you could ever hope to be. Just because otherwise good folks deny the obvious and cancel a subscription, it does not validate your sprouts attack on them, it just makes the more ignorant of the facts.

I dismiss the views of anyone who attacks the fine, verifiable work of LSN, and question their obvious agenda. Thanks for placing more nails in your rhetorical coffin.

Thanks Dolours! I personally don't know Janet that well, but back a couple of years ago she and I corresponded with each other a bit concerning "Maria Divine Mercy", and back then I gladly posted an article of hers concerning Maria Divine Mercy on my website. As you may know, she was in fact one of the persons who was quite instrumental back in bringing forth a good deal of information on her blog concerning Maria Divine Mercy, and at that time I personally appreciated her efforts in this area.

But to the matter at hand, I was as you can see in my original comment above, a bit disappointed to see what seemed to me to be a great topic here go off the rails quite a bit in the comments. But then, since I host a website I know quite well firsthand how the comments section can be very fiesty at times, and how misconceptions and misunderstandings often abound.

Thanks again and may God bless you and your loved ones.

Do you get a sense, Glenn reading these holy people that they provide a collective shema for what is going to happen in the future.?

I am surprised how often they seem to agree with each other about futrue events.

I think it is important that we remember that in a dialogue...we exchange opinions. I've read many people who say they left the board because "the board has changed or its too negative" When they should be saying is "I'm so thin skinned..I can't take the heat in the kitchen". Humane dialogue requires us to listen first and formulate an appropriate response. Christian charity demands we give our best and if no change occurs we give it up in prayer. Conversion happens at different rates for different people.

Welcome Glenn! I enjoy your site. We had a Passionist spiritual director for decades, so your entries on Passionist saints and Mystics were very enjoyable!

I wrote to you privately, please see my messages there for some background that will make things on this thread more clear.
Thanks Janet. My sincere apologies for my earlier outbursts. I just don't treat newcomers that way, so it was completely uncharacteristic of me, and I'm truly sorry for my words, error, and ascribing motives.
