Dear Father O Kane, I remember him returning to Carnlough after his release from the Chinese prison. We all gathered at the bridge to welcome him home. There were banners all across the street and everyone was cheering as he went past. He was a good and humble priest and he suffered much during his incarceration. May he rest in the peace of Christ whom he faithfully served.
