I have a story that I hope will give you all great consolations. I came out of Mass one day and was on my way to the supermarket (Don't worry, it wasn't a Sunday) when I came across a man on a zimmer frame (walker for you Americans ) , he was really struggling so I offered my assistance. It was only as I got right up and he responded that I realized he was an alcoholic and was much the worse for wear. It took a long time, and once I offered, well I couldn't very well leave him. Anyway, I saw him a few times after this. One time, I felt the urge to hand him my rosary along with all the prayers that had been said on it. I also felt that if he accepted this Rosary he accepted God. I had seen this man for a few years by this time. A few weeks later, it was Good Friday, and didn't I see him at the back of the Church drunk as he was. It was the first time I had seen him there. He died shortly after this. I know in my heart that this was the grace of God and Our Blessed Mother had moved me to offer him the beads. I remember thinking, oh my, all the prayers on that I am giving away.. Oh, so worth it. It is well worth offering all our prayers for Our Blessed Mother's Intentions, she knows when she wants to use them and how, and no worries, when it is time for a member of our family, she will use the prayers offered elsewhere to help them. Of this I have no doubt.
54 day Novena Rosary? I am ashamed to admit, but I do not know what kind of Novena is this one ( 6x9)
A 54 Day Novena is where you say A rosary each day (five Mysteries). The first 27 days are in petition, the next 27 days are in Thanksgiving. It is very powerful.
