A minister in Australia has stated that the flooding in Queensland is of Biblical proportions http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12102126 It is interesting that Australia is one of the few countries that has not been affected by the economic recession - that is until now - the new Budget is being held back in anticipation of a huge bill for reconstruction that will run into billions. Here we see the sovereign hand of God at work for he allows such things to happen. I was struck by a recent news article on RTE T.V. in Dublin Ireland when a business-woman was interviewed during the recent poor weather/snow-ice etc that had affected her business - she described recent events in Ireland as the 'perfect economic storm'. In other words, businesses are being brought to their knees by a combination of events some 'natural' and some man-made. Shops/Pubs/Restaurants lost millions in Ireland due to the recent bad weather - there seems to be no end to Ireland's economic woes. Many would see this a 'coincidence' but the fall of mammon in Ireland is a sign that God's hand is on this country. He will purify all the false idols so that there is none left but 'God Alone'. Ireland will be brought to its knees once more and it is 'kneel-power' that we need We saw this too with the aviation industry in Europe - TWICE in 2011 there was major disruption to air-traffic <predicted by Padraig, although the total stoppage that he foresaw may yet happen> there was the volcanic disruption and the snow-ice disruption - what was once a very reliable means of transport is now questioned.... signs of the times all around us.. These events are hammer-blows to an already fragile economic situation in Europe -- fast heading towards the perfect economic storm -- one of the pillars of stability is very fragile indeed and it would take a 'puff' from God to send it all crashing to the ground. Rest assured though that we serve a 'sovereign God' who remains in complete control even though there may be chaos all around!
