Our Lady of The Good Death - how many people are converted through the intercession of the Mother of Heaven in the last moments of life.
I have two favorites- First is probably Our Lady of Perpetual Help as She helped me to return to the Church and Our Lady of Sorrows as not only do I have an interest/ affection for the Passion but also because my Mother gave me the most beautiful statue of Her that has brought me much comfort in recent years.
So hard to chose. I guess because it’s a parish I’m familiar with and a recent title, I like the title “Mother of the Church”. Especially, since it is celebrated the Monday immediately following Pentecost (tomorrow ! ). Mary was so important in the birth of the Church on Pentecost and it’s so nice to celebrate her as the mama of our church.
Mary as Queen has become a very important title to me. We are members of a Kingdom that will never fail or succumb. Beginning with Solomon, there was always a Queen Mother. In a true sense, this was always a foreshadowing of Our Lady: faithful, holy, humble, loving, lowly, pure and tender, reflecting the glory of her Son while robbing Him of none.
