That remains an undocumented assertion and I suggest for the sake of your credibility here that you refrain from repeating it. Our Lady of Fatima did not mention the Orthodox Schism or the Social Kingship of Christ (I am not sure what you mean there) as the reason for her asking for the Consecration of Russia. She mentioned one reason and one reason only for the Consecration: conversion from COMMUNISM. That conversion has taken place just as she predicted and the errors of Communism have spread just as she predicted: Vladimir Putin, the leader of a nation that once hunted down Christians and demolished Churches under Stalin, is proud to be seen practicing and defending Christianity in public. Meanwhile, the leader of the once Christian West, Barack Obama, is doing everything he can to tear down Christianity in public. I'll let the signs of the times speak for themselves.
'Derail??' Come on! Of course no-one has been arrested, the people who do the arresting were the ones these people were irritating. There is a pattern that you might miss but most people don't. Russia is a lawless mess and is about as converted as the wild west was. You ask why we can't accept that Russia is converted, the test is that WE WOULD NOTICE. wow David, think about it.......... do you really believe that Our Lady of Fatima requested First Saturday reparations and the Holy Fathers consecration of Russia along with all the bishops in the world for what Russia is doing today??? Really?? So our Lady made this request for the minuscule, if you can even call it a mini-conversion, of what we see in Russia today>? That would be laughable if it wasn't so serious of a subject. Seriously you have to be in the .00005% of the world population who sees Russia as a converted country. I know more than a few Catholics who believe the consecration took place, but really....... if this is all Our Lady got out of the multiple requests she made to Lucia to have Russia converted, she had very very limited expectations. In actuality Our Lady got NO recognition for this 'conversion' of Russia if it took place. Wow is all I can say! I contend as before, that when the rightful consecration does indeed take place that whole world will know, Mary will have been given all the credit throughout the world and the conversion of Russia will be converted to Catholicism as did the Aztec's were in Guadalupe Mexico in 1531. Yep, it will be a HUGE ordeal, not one that you have to use a microscope to see fragments of a conversion.
Your comparing Russians to the Aztecs is a rather silly, fallacious comparison: the Aztecs were a pagan nation before they were converted. In contrast, the Russians were already Christian long before they were Communist and in fact it was only a small number of extremely powerful people taking control of Russia and centralizing power, who were responsible for plunging Russia into darkness. The 1984 Consecration was a way of directing some supernatural light onto that darkness. The results of that Consecration speak for themselves: the Cold War ended without Mutually Assured Destruction taking place and today Russia has taken a public stand in defense of Christianity at home and abroad whilst the West is doing everything in its power to destroy the centers of Christianity at home and abroad, especially in the Middle East. Keep your eyes on Syria, where Putin has drawn a line in the sand. Putin's public stand in defense of Christianity and International Law stands in stark contrast to Obama's Lawlessness at home and abroad. Just to sum up my argument thus far: The Consecration was done properly in 1984 for the following reasons, 1. The legitimate Church authorities have said it was done. 2. Anyone watching world politics unfold since the end of the Cold War, especially as seen when contrasting the subsequent actions of the West and Russia play out on the world stage, would see that a supernatural transformation has occurred, just as Our Lady of Fatima predicted: the oldest Christian communities in the world have been destroyed, not by Russians, but by the Western-armed "Syrian Rebels"; the leader of the West threatens to imprison Catholic Navy Chaplains and bans them from saying the Daily Sacrifice of the Mass, meanwhile the President of Russia takes pride in attending Orthodox Mass and has the Russian Battleships blessed by Orthodox priests. Strange times we are living in, but entirely predictable.

Say again? The Orthodox Church may be in Schism, that is true, but they are not a "false church". Their Sacraments are still valid. And still no Consecration of Russia. Our hopes dashed yet again."I stopped reading at that paragraph in order to spare myself any more drama. Basically, the issue boils down to this: the Vatican has authoritatively said that the 1984 Consecration was accepted by Heaven per Sister Lucia's correspondence with the Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, then Archbishop Bertone. Mr. Ferrara asserts otherwise. But there is a problem: Mr. Ferrara is not the proper Church authority to make that decision. Archbishop Bertone was the proper authority and has definitively settled the issue. As loyal, faithful Catholics we can choose to obey the legitimate Church authorities on this matter, or we can pretend that ourselves or others are the legitimate authorities. I think I'll take Cardinal Bertone's word over Mr. Ferrara's word. There is no good reason to doubt Cardinal Bertone's word. And, no, Cardinal Bertone is not a Freemason. He is a rock-solid Catholic.

The establishment in the world of devotion to the Immaculate Heart would thus be confirmed by God Himself in the most dramatic manner. Where is the undeniable proof Sr Lucy spoke of in your version of events David? If concerned Catholics are debating the issue ,What on Earth was she talking about? 'Confimed by God in the most dramatic manner.'? What Pusilanimous efforts put forward by the Vatican have never been backed by a Pope ,on the contrary.

I can tell you have not taken the time to listen to good reason, based on sound facts in the many you tube video's already posted on this thread from the September 2013 Fatma: The Plan to Peace Conference. If you would only listen with an open mind to many of these talks you will see the 'good reason' explained. Some of us who used to think like you did and now have a more balanced understanding of what has really gone down in this regard.
According to Father Malichi Martin, who was present at the Vatican when Pope John XXIII opened and read the 3rd secret with a few other Cardinals (one whom Father Martin worked for), and this Cardinal came to Father Martin and said, "we have just killed a BILLION people". He then was given the one sheet with 27 lines of the 3rd secret of Fatima, which he said was imbedded into his memory. While not divulging the full content of the 3rd secret, he did say that the version revealed in 2000 by Cardinal Bertone, contained some of the information but only pieces of it. He laid it out in 3 parts as follows: 1) It dealt with global physical chastisements (both manmade and natural) 2) It dealt with global spiritual chastisements (a complete loss of faith and belief in God throughout whole nations) 3) Russia will be the direct cause of both . They will be the instrument of these chastisements. they are in control of a new form of energy, extremely cheap power that if used for good could benefit the whole world. They will use it for bad.

Fatima, David will just poo-poo Fr. Malachi as if he is nobody. The telling fact is that Cardinal Bertone' publicly said, "We have heard the last of Fatima." By saying that he put Pope Benedict in a seriously difficult position because if he came out publicly and contradicted the Cardinal it would cause scandal. . So the Pope went to Fatima, and while there he had to give a speech. In that speech he very forcefully said, "We have NOT heard the last of Fatima!" Putting Cardinal Bertone' in his place big time. Pope Benedict didn't put Bertone in his place. All Pope Benedict said in 2010 is that the events of Fatima are not complete: we await the Triumph which Pope Benedict prayed would commence prior to 2017. That's all Pope Benedict said. He DID NOT say that the 1984 Consecration was not done correctly and he DID NOT put Bertone in his place.
