Some people (mostly Russian sympathisers) maintain that Israel is America's proxy. Others (mostly American) maintain that Israel, or more specifically AIPAC and Israeli money, dictates US foreign policy. Hard to tell. Maybe it's neither the US nor Israeli money alone. It could be a select group of people or special interests from across the globe. Did you know that Israel has never defined its borders. I didn't know that until recently. They were denied entry to the UN until in 1948 they gave a commitment on three specific points: 1) That they would define their borders 2) That they would guarantee the Palestinians' right of return 3) That Jerusalem would be an international city They never fulfilled any of those commitments, making questionable the legitimacy of their UN membership. France already had nukes at that time. Israel got the nukes much later. One of Judge Napolitano's guests explained it in an interview a while back. I can't recall whether it was Larry Johnson but I'll see if I can find the video and if I can, I'll post a link.
I cannot with any certainty tell you how Israel controls the US, but it is clear that the tail is wagging the dog. Israel does what it wants and the US is right there to back it up. Thank you for the facts regarding Israel's entry into the UN, I had read a couple of these things in passing but never gave them much thought. I did not know that Jerusalem was supposed to be an international city. It also does not surprise me that Israel did not keep any of its commitments. I also find it prophetic that Israel destroyed the USS Liberty.

Yes, Israel/AIPAC appears to rule the roost on US policy in the Middle East but that's only one region and the US has interests everywhere. There may be other special interest groups not as in your face as AIPAC. We simply don't know and may never know.

I am beginning to think that even the war in the Ukraine is being pursued as a secondary matter in itself and that it's primary purpose is to tie up Russia, in the interests of Israel's expansionary ambitions. It is noteworthy that Zelensky is Jewish and that a hugely disproportionate membership of the Ukrainian parliament is Jewish. In the last few days, the Israeli Finance Minister reiterated that Israel wants Syria. Russia is in Syria and the defeat of Russia in the Ukraine would facilitate the Israeli occupation of Syria. Their ambitions in the Ukraine are irreversibly biting the dust, unless their representatives in the US can persuade the more sane politicians (one of whom, according to Colin Powell's former secretary, is Barack Obama-it is the Hillary Clinton faction that is for all-out war) of escalating it, something that would also likely greatly backfire. May God save us from the madly messianic.

Are there any truly Cathokic countries now? I can't think of any. Maybe there will be some in Africa and the East in the future. I do believe that Catholics will soon be the principal targets of persecution. When it begins in earnest, don't be surprised to see other Catholics not yet in the bullseye swallow the excuses. I'm sure there are Catholics who believe that if our soldiers had been killed in Lebanon it would have been their own fault for not getting out of Israel's way, just as they blamed the Palestinians in Gaza for not obeying Israel's orders to move.
Maybe so. I don't know. I just have this nagging doubt that the loyal Ulster in the Near East is earning its keep. Many of those Jews could be useful tools. If Israel's self-proclaimed protectors really cared about the Jews, they would encourage them to try getting along with their neighbours but that's never seriously proposed as a solution. Zelensky was only installed because the Ukrainians had such a bad reputation for Nazi sympathies. The prevailing powers couldn't erase all the reports so, hey presto, they promoted a Jew who ran on a peace platform. Also, Israel and Russia had good relations. Putin and Netanyahu were chummy. Remember it was a former PM of Israel who helped negotiate the peace deal, and it was a former British PM who scuppered it. Israel also had good relations with Iran in the past and I think they suppled arms to Iran for their war with Iraq. Some say that Iran sells a lot of oil to China. Russia is probably the only country in the world that's equal or surpasses the US in natural resources. It's not inconceivable that some multi-national elitist group is pulling the strings. It sure looks like European elites were promised the spoils of a fragmented Russia.
It's hard exchanging views on an open public forum like this. I read somewhere that well over 90% of people who visit such places never ever post , they just read , which is fine. If you post something somebody, somewhere will almost inevitably disagree with you. Then you may feel the need to dialogue or even argue with them and human nature being what it is emotions may flare. Which is maybe why there are not too many places like this and where they are they tend tend to turn into kind of open warfare. The only thing that makes this particular place work is that it is oiled by charity. I really down the years very rarely see uncharitable posts and even when there people nearly always say sorry or withdraw and things heal over. Even if we win the case and are uncharitable I think we tend to loose. But what can I say? We are all human and as St Paul says, all fall short of the Glory of God. Posting on a forum entails a certain risk but it also entails certain benefits and joys. We only make it all possible because of our mutual charity and forebearance. There is a legend from the Shoah (no one knows it it is true or not) that a group of Rabbi's in a Concentration Camp before getting gassed decided to have a trial of God. Considering that millions and millions of Jews were getting gassed they wanted to debate if God was guilty for not intervening and stopping the Nazis from their mass murder. So they talked all night and voted in the morning and decided that, yes, God was guilty for not intervening. He was guilty of the deaths. One Rabbi later wrote that he did not judge those who went into the gas chambers cursing God. Also he did not judge those who went to their deaths singing psalms and praising God. How could he, he said since he had never walked in their shoes to such a death. Looking at the mass murder, genocide, torture and planned starvation in the Middle East by Israel at the moment, certainly one of the worst crime in all human history, I have been inclined like those long ago Rabbi's to get a little ticked off at God and put Him on Trial. But, well, God is God and He is a Just God. If He decides to delay His Justice for a little while , that is up to Him. But Israel, like the Nazis before them will pay for all this. God is not mocked. They will pay for every drop of innocent blood. Every drop.
