How many countries has Russia invaded in the last 30 years or so? How many has the US invaded? When the Soviet Union collapsed Russia dismantled the Warsaw Pact and was formally assured NATO would not expand eastward. How has that turned out? In 1962 the Soviet Union stationed nuclear capable missiles in Cuba as a response to the US deploying nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey. How did the US react? Russia has been invaded by the Mongol empire, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Napoleon, Hitler. How many times has the US been invaded?
