I must admit, I dont know much about the European or UK political system, so some of his email is lost on me. But I do expect the Euro to crash one day...although it seems dire one day and fine the next as a deal is worked out. I wouldn't say the Euro debt crisis has gotten a lot of press in the US. Given it is such a grave situation and could impact the US significantly, I'd think it would get more press...but guess it does not fit into the MSM's agenda :roll: I must admit though, that the collapse of the Euro economy and currency is the only thing on my radar...a communist take-over still seems so far fetched to me. Thankfully we have those on this forum to keep us up to date in more detail as to what is going on in Europe.
Thanks for posting Norman's email. I too think Cameron did the right thing in regards to Europe. I have heard that Eamonn Gilmore was a former member of the Communist Party. I can see that his Party are set to remove religion from society, education etc. I was appalled with the closure of the Embassy to the Holy See. IMVHO this Government is worse than previous ones - God help us!
I susoect, Miriam many of these pressure groups for secularisation are heavily organised. It is not an accident that there is so much pressure to remove Faith from public life. once when I was at college out of curiousity I went to a Communist Party meeting and was amazed how many public figures I saw there were secret communists. many of them appear on TV al the time..but they are hidden.
