I have to say what is currently happening in Egypt and appears to be fast spreading to other countries in the region is just eye popping. Its as though country after country seems to be on the verge of falling like nine pins. The evil rulers of places like China must be biting their finger nails. But the question for us Catholics of course is how does this fit in with current prophesy and what does it mean for the future/ My first thought is that Our lady is being sent from heaven as Queen of Peace and the events in the region are anything but peaceful..and my own immediate thoughts were the apparitions of Our Lady which occred in Cairo recently which MUST be related. ]]
This seemed to have come from nowhere...or maybe I just wasn't paying attention. The way it has the potential to spread is like when the Berlin wall came down...and all of the eastern bloc countries followed...all without bloodshed, thanks to PJPII and our lady. It happened really fast and seemed to come from nowhere and it was awesome. This however, seems to have the fingerprints of the evil one, as this event could have the same domino effect in a negative way, and it could be very, very bloody and chaotic...we all know who's finger prints are all over this!! Padraig - I thought those apparitions in Cairo a few years ago was a hoax? I'd have to dig up some old threads on a different forum to confirm, but I'm pretty sure someone projected the image and then the whole thing went away. I could be wrong though. If it continues, this could be very bad for the world economy. Oil prices would go up along with gas prices, which will cause food prices to go up...the ripple effect is large. Not to mention chaos and a power vacuum in the middle east...yikes...something has certainly begun...
I never heard that the recent apparitions in Egypt were false. If anyone has a link to this I'd love to read it. I believe they are true. When I was in Cairo I visited the sire of the first apparitions there in , I think Zietun and area , a suburb on the outskirts of Cairo as I left going down to Port Siad. They had done a wonderful job on the Church there doing it up. I never got a chance to go inside but what Isaw impressed me. Egypt itself is like an armed camp, as you head down to Cairo you just see camp after huge camp of army and for a population of eighty million they have over one million police!! So its just like a volcano always ready to explode. There is so much hate and lack of peace.... But what ever the recent apparitions the first ones were most certainly true and have local church approval. Personally the reason why I think Our Lady choose this church was the Flight of the Holy Family to Egypt, I suspect the Holy Family stayed, at least for a while in the area...though of course I can't prove this. But I felt the presence of Mary very strongly in the area. ]
well, things are really changing in Egypt, and who knows who will really be in charge when the power struggle is over. Who knows if this unrest will spread to other arab countries. I believe this is a very dangerous time for the region, Israel, and the whole world really. let's all pray that it has a positive resolution with very little bloodshed. Not sure what it means in terms of prophecy...but the stage might be getting set for a power state of islam/sharia law to be put in place in multiple arab countries. Israel must be feeling very vulnerable right now. As Our Lady says...pray, pray, pray!! I search Padraig for that link, but could not find it, but definately remember reading about it. Regardless, the apparitions there in 1968 (I believe that was the year) are definately authentic.
Poor Israel must be frightened now. There is great concern about theMuslim Brotherhood taking over. Riots are breaking out in surrounding countries. I saw on tje conservative news today that leftist groups are inspired with what the people in Egypt are doing and calling for their own revolutions in America, U.K. and Australia.
