I think there are more holy people than you think. even in very liberal Boston, there is a remnant of holy people, and a remnant is all you need. We are very lucky to have perpetual adoration in boston, and the committed adorers there seem to me very holy and devout. within this same parish is a young adult group full of really, really committed catholics (college aged through 40) and I have seen and interacted with them first hand when I volunteered at one of their events. They love the Lord and live the faith in these times. For those of us over 40, there is a networking group that meets monthly and this is a place where we regularly talk and have speakers about everything from political acts that threaten religious freedom to how we are fasting for lent. Our leaders are like the people at this web site (livethefast.com). When I went to the first meeting I remember thinking...this is Our Lady's army and this is her war room!! So, find the remnant in your area instead of lamenting how there are so few holy people around. Listen to your local EWTN radio shows and see who is being interviewed and associations who advertise on them. That is how you find remnants and holy people in training.

Given the dishonesty and greed behind all of this, it is surely no coincidence that many of those involved in the work of exposing the banking cartel have recently started using Biblical language to describe what they see as a moral struggle. I contend with you that there are holy people, but unlike you feel that they are a small small fragment of the population at large. Finding a few 100 people in a large city who frequent the Adoration or a prayer group does not represent a large contingency of holy people. I have found the 'holy' people of those around my area and when you really get to know them most of them have no problem with gay marriage, contraception, sterilization, divorce and remarriage etc., while going to Mass and Holy Communion. Holy people do not compromise Church doctrines, but embrace them no matter the sacrifice. I stand by my statement that there are few holy people left, but many good people.
I have a sense there will soon be a huge return to faith. Just one tornado, earthquake, hurricane, fire or tsunami usually does the trick, but it sounds like we're going to get slammed with all of the above, in rapid succession, not to mention martial law. Those of us who have been faithful will have our hands full gathering in the formerly lukewarm. This is the time to stock up on grace, and rest!
Its so difficult to judge other people and other countries and howthey are getting on. My guess is the degeneracy into deepest sin is as Marti said totally Global. Of course in some places it s worse, like Europe. But I was listening to a report on the Haij (The Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca which all Islam is supposed to make at least once in their lives) . The pilgrimage can be very difficult and dangerous not least because of the extreme heat in Saudi Arabia. Anyhow one pilgrim was commenting on how many folks he saw dead and dying whilst on route for lack of water and care. Other pilgrims gave no help at all to these folks even when well able to. We have our worries in the Church but this, well , outright wickedness seems to be all over the place. Though it takes different forms in differing places.

of course the holy people will compose a small fragment of the population, as it has always been called a remnant so that is what I'd expect. I am fortunate to have found some holy people who do not cave on the social issues you mention. I am sure there are remnants spread out all over the world getting spiritually ready for what is to come. I guess the point to my post was to stay positive, there are holy remnants out there, you may need to go out of your way to find them in your area as it is a small, tiny group compared to the population at large, but they are out there and getting ready.
Can someone explain to me the financial\economic reasons the IMF or say the handfull of bankers with a lot of control would want one global currency. I can guess a few and I understand from a population control perspective but financially can someone tell me these reasons.

Total economic control obviously also equates with total political control. A few years ago this would have seemed like science-fiction or mere apocalyptic fantasizing, but not now... This situation is new in the history of humanity, and has come about because of technology, as philosophers such as Jacques Ellul saw decades ago. How long this will take to be implemented is anyone's guess, as is the extent to which the IMF or other groups such as the Bank of International Settlements are actually planning something like this rather than simply stumbling their way into it, although my intuition is that it may be a mix of both. The question that arises - and one which Terry Bennett's audio raises - is what alternatives can be thought up that will allow people to resist what very much looks like it will turn into the Mark of the Beast at some point. Barter? Self-sufficient agricultural cooperatives? Local monetary systems? Unfortunately it seems that this is no longer just a theoretical issue.

Depositors already have to cope with near-zero interest rates, but paying just to leave money in the bank would be highly unusual and unwelcome for companies and households. The warning by bank executives highlights the dangers of one strategy the Fed could use to offset an eventual “tapering” of the $85bn a month in asset purchases that have fuelled global financial markets for the last year. Minutes of the Fed’s October meeting published last week showed it was heading towards a taper in the coming months – perhaps as soon as December – but wants to find a different way to add stimulus at the same time. “Most” officials thought a cut in the interest on bank reserves was an option worth considering. Executives at two of the top five US banks said a cut in the 0.25 per cent rate of interest on the $2.4tn in reserves they hold at the Fed would lead them to pass on the cost to depositors. Banks say they may have to charge because taking in deposits is not free: they have to pay premiums of a few basis points to a US government insurance programme. “Right now you can at least break even from a revenue perspective,” said one executive, adding that a rate cut by the Fed “would turn it into negative revenue – banks would be disincentivised to take deposits and potentially charge for them”. Other bankers said that a move to negative rates would not only trim margins but could backfire for banks and the system as a whole, as it would incentivise treasury managers to find higher-yielding, riskier assets. “It’s not as if we are suddenly going to start lending to [small and medium-sized enterprises],” said one. “There really isn’t the level of demand, so the danger is that banks are pushed into riskier assets to find yield.” The danger of negative rates has deterred the Fed from cutting interest on bank reserves in the past. If it were to do so now, it would most probably expand a new facility that lets banks and money market funds deposit cash at a small, positive interest rate. That should avoid any need for banks to charge depositors. About half of the reserves come from non-US banks that do not have to pay the deposit insurance fee. Their favourite manoeuvre is to take deposits from money market funds and park them overnight at the Fed, earning millions of dollars risk-free. Cutting the interest on reserves would stop that. Lowering interest on reserves would also affect money market funds, said Alex Roever, head of US interest rate strategy at JPMorgan. “[It] would decrease the incentive for those banks to borrow in the money markets, which in turn could leave money market funds short of certain investments and force them to bid up the price of their next best options,” he said. Richard Gilhooly, strategist at TD Securities, highlighted some benefits to the Fed from the possible cut: “[It] would not only anchor short-term rates near zero, it also stands to boost the profits for the Fed as they pay less interest to banks,” he said. Thanks, good explaination, I expected enslavement to be a major factor. I have noticed in some shops ATM machines have been removed or moved to a discreet part of the shop. I think we are being pushed to cashless very quickly at the moment, many people support this wholeheartedly. Weather we like it or not nearly all ATM cards in Ireland have RFID built in, so you can spend up to €15 with a quick swipe and no pin, to me this seems like a trial for future other uses of this technology. I avoid this myself and try to spend cash as much as possible. I also avoid any of those customer loyalty cards, I think they give away way to much data about us. I don't want tesco knowing about my Tea problem, no way. Its just so obvious that something big and bad is around the corner and i'm glad many here on this forum are aware and giving good advise. Just to throw in some tidbits...I work on the nightshift right next to railroad lines...as such...right before the Iraq war and Afghan war...I would see long rail lines of tanks, APC's and artillery heading to the West of Nashville. After the wars...I saw the trains... fully loaded... heading East. Well to my surprise about 3 weeks ago they where headed West again with full loads of military equip. My first impression was "Israel is going to attack Iran". I may be wrong... but I think it will happen....maybe after a false flag operation or something of that sorts...but it is going to happen.

He said he has intel that Iran acquired nukes from Pakistan and the corresponding delivery systems from Russia 6 years ago. This agreement with Iran just give the USA/Israel/Saudi's info on their program. When Iran fails in it's "verification" (think Saddam Hussein weapons of WMD/Syria chemical weapons, we will then attack and destroy Iran. Lindsey Williams says the same thing and then Israel/USA turn on the Saudi's and the middle east is Israel's. Game/set/match. Who cares about the Christians, nobody.
Yes...good points...I am assuming that all this supposed good will with Iran is just phony rue by the US and Israel to let Iran and subsequently the Russians to put there guard down. It is rather clever...if indeed this is the case. I suspect it is because many of the Jews in the US Congress and Senate appear to be reserved in their reaction.
